My aunt has a friend who used to do meth and he said when he was really in deep and was really getting high, he would of course tweak out, and when that would happen he would sit there, watch TV and think the TV was talking to him, giving him subliminal messages to do things and shit like that. He had a friend who he would get high with who was just as paranoid about the TV talking to him, and once they both got clean, my aunts friend goes back to normal and his boy was still completely gone. To this day he's a full blown schizophrenic and there's nothing that can be done about it. I had my own problems with drugs awhile back and now I'm clean, I just smoke and occasionally drink a little, but it took me genuinely years to rewire my brain out of hopeless paranoid junkie mode. Its fucking scary.
