It depends on the mod. Some work and some don’t. Sometimes the buttons won’t show at the bottom but if I push it, it still works.
I have another tutorial video on stacking cryofridges that are modded. Maybe that could help u some.
i have a problem where i can’t change to free placements mode if i want to put thing on the floor cuz it just snaps to it and i can’t change snapping mode

Glad you got it fixed. I tried to go into single player for ya and simulate what ur issue was but couldn’t find it. I have noticed sometimes when switching styles that the Q for snap info disappears but you can still hit Q
i have the same problem but i’m on xbox and can’t change
@@Thaisamurai9 my husband plays on Xbox and he said you hold down RB
On Playstation is: Place whatever you want to place ready then Hold R1 + UP. This was driving me crazy too lmao
Hello, I don't have the button "q" on my screen when I want to place an object, it just tell the name of the object but not "enable snapping and hold q" or "press rotate" do you know if I have to do something in the setting to unlock it?
I have been noticing that as well. It will show up sometimes and then sometimes it doesn’t. It seems to be an issue since the release of scorched. Hopefully it will get patched soon, however, the ability to switch is still there. Try clicking the R or E keys and seeing if things change on a wall or something.

Seems like it doesn't work for build structures?
Certain structures it doesn’t work and others it won’t show the buttons at bottom but when I have held down Q the snap is still disabled. I think it’s an ongoing glitch.

Oh I see. I use my Q for K view in key binding. I reset my key binding to default then the option to use Q appeared.
Glad to hear. Sometimes when I switch my keybinds it messes it up too
