Pyromane - Taming & Abilities Explained!
The Pyromane is one of the best creatures to hit ARK ASA since launch, in my opinion. It is a brand new creature from the 'Fantastic Tames' paid DLC series, introduced alongside the newest ARK map, 'The Center'.

How can I turn the flaming footsteps on for xbox

ANOTHER UPDATE: If you are riding the Pyromane and in process of killing the dinos, you can also use your shotgun on the dinos and the timer still resets. You can also use flame absorb and it does this as well. 😊 Happy Taming!
Nicely done....any taming method traps?
I have seen one using Dino gates where some is in water and other part is where u drop dinos but personally, it leaves room for a lot of error. Pyromanes have the leap ability and it could be a mess. However, I did find out one thing and plan on making quick video about it. If you are riding the Pyromane and in process of killing the dinos, you can also use your shotgun on the dinos and the timer still resets. You can also use flame absorb and it does this as well.
Took one to blue ob with a raft and tamed super fast and easy using cloth clothes and prim pike plenty of stuff to kill there it was a 145 and was like 2 min to tame

Seems like it doesn't work for build structures?
Certain structures it doesn’t work and others it won’t show the buttons at bottom but when I have held down Q the snap is still disabled. I think it’s an ongoing glitch.
Update! I also just found out that the Pyromane is also a SLOWCOOKER!!! As if he couldn't get cool enough, this bad boy also will cook your meat and make jerky in his inventory!

Oh I see. I use my Q for K view in key binding. I reset my key binding to default then the option to use Q appeared.
Glad to hear. Sometimes when I switch my keybinds it messes it up too
I love this map but it's so damn buggy rn. I can't go in a cave because of the all consuming RGB void

Hello, I don't have the button "q" on my screen when I want to place an object, it just tell the name of the object but not "enable snapping and hold q" or "press rotate" do you know if I have to do something in the setting to unlock it?
I have been noticing that as well. It will show up sometimes and then sometimes it doesn’t. It seems to be an issue since the release of scorched. Hopefully it will get patched soon, however, the ability to switch is still there. Try clicking the R or E keys and seeing if things change on a wall or something.
For me white paint DOES NOT WORK

i have a problem where i can’t change to free placements mode if i want to put thing on the floor cuz it just snaps to it and i can’t change snapping mode

Glad you got it fixed. I tried to go into single player for ya and simulate what ur issue was but couldn’t find it. I have noticed sometimes when switching styles that the Q for snap info disappears but you can still hit Q
i have the same problem but i’m on xbox and can’t change

On Playstation is: Place whatever you want to place ready then Hold R1 + UP. This was driving me crazy too lmao
