I'm super happy you made a video on this workbench......doesn't seem so daunting now. :) I bought mine for my freeze dryer & all stuff that goes along with it.
Great video 🫡 way better than reading the directions. My father purchased one last year and I went to help him build it just to spend time with him and have a beer hanging out. I liked it so much asked my wife to get me 2 for Christmas this year. Most under rated best bang for your buck workbench/tool cabinet. They seem cheap and flimsy until fully built then they are equal to my big husky and definitely better than craftsman. I'm using for mechanic/woodworking tools in workshop.
I'm glad it was helpful! I'm definitely more of a visual person, and some of these directions can be pretty lackluster. I was planning on building it anyway, so I'm happy to film it and help others out. I totally agree - These things are absolutely the best bang for buck out there, and definitely fly under the radar. I was on the fence until I noticed a few of them in the background of a Vice Grip Garage video. If Derek uses them, they must be good! I've had mine in my basement. Currently used for tool storage and 3D printer duty, but it's worked great. I move the 3D printed out of the way when I need to use the work bench for actual work or snowboard tuning.
The instructions that came with the box are pretty good but this video is great and will save you a lot of time. I think it's safe to say that this cut close to half the time off of the assembly. He mentions it but I would heavily emphasize not to tighten drawers or panels until you have loosely started all screws. Also, be careful to get all screws in straight, they strip easily. Great video, thank you for saving me a lot of time!
Thanks for the comment and I'm glad it helped! I agree that the instructions are pretty solid, but visuals always help me which is why I like to make these videos when I can. Thin metal is right. I did strip and cross thread that first drawer I tried putting together, but it's ok. They're small enough and what I put in is light enough that it's held up fine over the last couple months.
Great assembly guide and review! Appreciate you going over the potential issues you might have with the drawer height. It's one of those factors that's easy to miss when you're out shopping. Does it come in other colors? I'm looking to get something similar near my work bench area where it could possibly be stored under it and rolled out when needed.
I sort of wish there were more of the medium sized drawers as opposed to so many shallow ones, but I have found a use for all of them, so it definitely works! As far as colors, there is gray like in my video, and then a red color. I opted for the gray since the drawers are bright metal, it's a more clean look.
You are a superhero. I just bought two of these from Sam's to use as an office workstation. I hate assembling flatpack, I just find it very boring. Your video will be my guide. Thank you.
@@johncohen3155 Similar to what the other commenter said, it would be best in addition to a desk or workstation, not the primary work surface since you can't sit under it. I know some people that have a computer work surface and a model building area right next to each other. This would work really well for something like that.

Don't be intimidated! Assembly isn't terrible, especially with some of your own tools. You'll love it too, I wish I had bought mine sooner!

Looks like a nice work station!
It has been! I wish I had purchased it sooner.

@@StevesGarage You did better than me, I cross threaded 3 lol; but I'm still happy with the purchase. You get a lot for $480. Thanks again
@@Dojo-v6m Yes! The bang for buck this cabinet offers is pretty unrivaled. Just based on size to cost alone makes this thing a great buy.
Thank you so much for this video it was very helpful when building mine. Appreciate it 👍
You're welcome! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
That's a handsome ass work station/storage solution.
Thanks! Definitely better looking than it needs to be hiding away in my basement, but it's exactly what I needed to help organize the space.
I have one and I use it for gunsmithing/reloading.
Awesome! With all the drawers it can definitely be used for all kinds of different things.

@@StevesGarage That was a good call on the color. I think it works well with the space.
@@Ideal-Setup Thanks!
How many hours did it take you to assemble this cabinet
With filming it took me about an hour. So I'd say it shouldn't take you any more than that.

These would work great as an office workstation. You could even build them in for a real clean look. Glad the video helped! Enjoy your new storage!
Would lover to see a picture of how this would work as an office workstation
@@johncohen3155 Would be very good for that, but can't get your legs under it, of course. To of these along side a proper desk would be fantastic.
two, not to
