    If you use 30 amps in the fuse block, make sure the wire you use can handle 30 amps.

    Very neat explaination and setup! What kind of material is that base sheet?

    • @HardHeadGarage
      @HardHeadGarage  2 года назад

      Thanks a lot! The base material is a sheet of kydex, you could also use abs plastic which is commonly found in hardware stores.

    So you made this to eliminate the old fuse box and bulkhead in the old truck?

    • @HardHeadGarage
      @HardHeadGarage  3 года назад

      This was made for my dakota, we are doing a street/strip build on it. I kept the factory fuse block and bulk head for standard stuff like headlights and wipers, this relay panel will power additional equipment like nitrous, fan, fuel pump, ignition, ect.

    I’m going to re-wire my old truck, what accessories need a relay?
    Thank you!

      I normally put anything with a lot of draw on a relay. Examples: fans, fuel pumps, starters, ignition.

    great work ! but if i put the relay panel next to the battery in the trunk and i wire the radiator fan still ill loss voltage and the wire is gonna heat ?

    • @HardHeadGarage
      @HardHeadGarage  2 года назад

      Possibly, dependingon your wire size. Mine going in a truck so the distance isn't that far. Another option is to mount the fan relay under the hood somewhere near the fan.

    Nice setup, but having fuses on the relays is a waste of money and space when running a fuse box could of done away from that

      Thanks👍the relays with the built in fuses were actually cheaper, that's the only reason I got them
