:) I was really thouched that Lame Horse came back and brought the deer for the Ingalls and that guy to eat. He didn't have to but he did and that was a very nice thing to do.
@kazoopilot: That's because they were filming it in California, not Minnesota. I know the land's flat there, I saw it on Google Earth. But a blizzard on flat farmland can be terrible too - not a place to hide from it!
Many Native American tribes (including the Sioux) had a cultural tradition of speaking little, a case of speaking only when necessary. I don't know the reasons behind it but it may have been something to do with spirits- as in, for example, the belief of some Native American tribes that having your photograph taken takes a piece of your soul away.
@clariebear2 I know, right!!! I just don't think I could eat my horse. I mean...I'd probably think of it as something like a pet. But, I guess if times are hard enough, you'll do what you have to do.
@leahblashful I know what you mean. I feel very bad for the Navie Americans and the other racies and ethnic groups that have suffered too. It's horrible what he and many other people did to them. None of them deserved it. I heard one lady who is Native American said that she refuses to use a $20 bill because he's on it. I wouldn't blame her.
@mitsupitsu44 Back then It was common for white actors to be made up to look like indians to play them in movies. Hispanics actors started to do it too. From what I hear, Native Americans didn't like the way they were being portrayed be case most of what was shown was false.

Thank you so much for posting Little House episodes!!!! I have been enjoying them for quite some time now :D
See the way the horse drew back when Chuck walked in with his gun? It is almost like the horse sensed it.
oh man, I cried when I thought he was going to shoot the horse =*****( the poor horse backed up and was like, "Nooo..."!!!

Wow the ending :(
Natives are smart
Why didn't Caroline take the marshall's gun away when they brought him in?
They where usually more generous than the white man back then..
@JA268 Your right but it did not justify what the natives did in minnesota.

Doubt that guy voted fro lincoln then
@mallymonkey That is very true. And a lot of white men took advantaged of that. :(
Yep. Fake tan claims another victim.
