I would also have cleaned the fan and replaced the thermal paste. If you already have it open
And clone the hard drive to ssd and upgrade!! 🙃
Don’t you use an anti static wrist band when working on eletronics? I destroyed a ram memory one day for not using it.. since that day I bought an a-s wrist band and work on any eletronic!
If you're moving like Peter on the carpet to Zap Brian while you're working on sensitive electronics, then yeah, you may damage them ! 😅
