@@daydreamer820able I just looked it up it's so that the toilet paper roll doesn't unroll a bunch and it only let's you have a few sheets at a time so you aren't wasting a bunch of toilet paper.
Can use baking soda as done in the Depression. Most dentists recommend. My personal teeth cleaning is baking soda, then a dab of toothpaste on top to polish. Battery operated toothbrush which can use rechargeable batteries. And recently a rechargeable portable water flosser $40 along with a dental pick as my teeth are so squeezed together it is nearly impossible ro clean. Even the dentists, hygienists do not seem to care for the extra work and I figured out a way with new technology this pasr decade or two, to be able to clean my own teeth and avoid the dental offices.
What you are doing with the toothpaste is a great idea, but don't stop there--empty all of its content into a little food saver with a tight fitting lid. Doing so will let you skim a tiny amount of toothpaste(which is all you need and it will still be sudsy enough I swear.) Because no matter how careful you are with the tube, it will always dispense more than you need. Besides, cutting down on toothpaste use will alleviate mouth drying symptoms for some individuals.
you can also re-use toilet paper by brushing off any bodily-solids and letting it dry over the duration of an hour or so to regain its stiffness back for second usage.
Best I can tell, a round toilet paper roll on a despenser can spin and dispense a lot of toilet paper fast. A squished, oval roll, however, would just flip over instead of spin. This means getting toilet paper is more dificult, making you aware of exactly how much you are using each time.
If you have kids who use a bunch of toilet paper unnecessarily, flattening the roll makes it so they can't unroll like ten sheets at once, so they'll end up using less. If there are only adults in the house and you manage to only use the amount you need, it's not gonna save you much
I feel like gifting thrifted items is a NO😭😭 personally, I wouldn’t like getting something that’s thrifted (I have my reasons) I would prefer not getting anything 💀
I don’t see the problem. People buy clothes that were returned to the store. There’s often things at thrift stores that were never used like a vase or a bowl, clothes, etc.
@@Siberius-now that's just ridiculous I'm sorry but I'm going to have to call ridiculous on that because that's one thing you shouldn't skimp on now for kids at might be a different story lol
I think it probably works if you have kids who tend to use however much they please. Flattening the roll makes it makes it so they can't just pull on it and unroll a bunch at once. If there are only adults or older children in the house, who manage only using the amount they need, I don't think you'll save much by doing that.
I just wasted 2 minutes trying to re-read items that barely save me any money or time.
I think you need to Google what frugal means.
Then dont waste more time commenting...duh!!!
I do all but the toliet paper thanks for the tip😊
Oh nice. Jesus loves you and died for you ♥
may Jesus bless you and keep you, and stay with you till His return, keep holding onto Him amen @@yo9979
I didn't understand the use of that tip like what does that do 😅

It's more better when you have a bidet ,but its ok

I love unplugging everything I don't use, I saved a lot and its way better, that coffee machine and toaster doesn't need to be plugged trust me
I also get free sauces and salt sugar and pepper from fast food restaurants and food courts
What does the toilet paper thing do
Iwas wondering the same thing
you can also re-use toilet paper by brushing off any bodily-solids and letting it dry over the duration of an hour or so to regain its stiffness back for second usage.
Lol😅
As nasty as that would be, it would be true! 😂
Yuck😂
I’m sorry but im confused. What does squishing the toilet paper have to do with being frugal?

I do the unplug thing. Nice
I do the toothpaste one 😊
What's the deal wjth rge toilet paper? How does that save? Please don't be mean. Genuine question
I do everything except the toilet paper. I forget to do it.
Why the TP?
The only reason why the tp thing would work is if you have kids. I get it
you didnt even explain the toilet paper thing?
If you have kids who use a bunch of toilet paper unnecessarily, flattening the roll makes it so they can't unroll like ten sheets at once, so they'll end up using less.

Meanwhile I'd prefer a thrifted item over getting me something new 🤷
@@bratatouille that’s great 😂

The best gifts are hand made things as they have the persons time and effort and love in them.
Why squish toilet paper?. That's annoying.
Why squishing the toilet paper
When you squish the TP it makes it unroll slower which means you will use less. It’s especially helpful for the kids bathrooms!
@@sweetfrugallifehaha you have asian gene im from pakistan my mom do the same❤😂
I just ration toilet paper and towels every time kids are here. They get the cheap stuff, too. 💯
I count the squares, but for particularly kids, I could see that leading to them using less toilet paper.

Yeah I don't see what that does with the toilet paper LOL
When you're taking toilet paper it's like flattened so like so you can get a lot at once

I dont get the TP hack either
