Thank you so much for such a lovely video🌾🌿 As myself and my loved ones get a little grayer with each passing season, I have become more conscious of how quickly time passes us by when we are not truly living in the moment. With our busy, and often draining lives, it can be tempting to just tune out and turn off by turning on the tv or scrolling through the internet. That can be a necessary form of self care some times, but I have found it can become an easy habit that robs you of precious moments of creativity, exploration and quality time with loved ones. Doing simple things to romanticize and be mindful, and more than anything, allowing my mind to wander, has helped me get back in touch with the world, people and animals around me. It has has also helped me get back in touch with my creativity and imagination. It seems so obvious, but I have recently come to appreciate how important it is to allow ourselves to become "bored" so that our minds have the chance to wander, create, and ponder. This life is so precious and fleeting and full of incredible wonders. And more than that, those whom we love won't be with us forever. Don't let it all pass you by.🌿🌾
I too love the winter and the spring, as me and my black rescue greyhound Madge do not do well in the hot sun of summer. So we are enjoying June in West Devon, England, as it is only about 15 degrees centigrade, and that is just lovely! We are in the country, and love our walks - we saw a beautiful hare this morning, and rabbits on our lane - we are so lucky. xxx

As a mom with two kids, summer quickly lost its appeal for me with bored kiddos always under foot or fighting or complaining. I lost some of my peace during summer, so I kind of endured it. Luckily, that phase of life is swinging back around again as the kids are now teens and easier to entertain, haha. Cooking and baking with seasonal produce is also something I want to be more aware of and what better way to support that than going to a farmers market! Love this so much. Does it get really hot where you live? Because that's one of the reasons I don't like Summer, is that it gets really hot and can barely get two thoughts straight. It's much lovelier when I visit my parents in Portugal, as they live by the coast and there is always a breeze. I do miss picknicks and wish I had a lovely forest not far, but I'll make do with what I do have. A bucket list is a excellent idea to get into the mood of Summer ! Take care, dear friend 🥰

Well there's another thing we have in common, summer is definitely not my favorite either, lol. But what a beautiful reminder to find joy in every circumstance. I have been trying to make time each day to sit outside and just be present. I listen to the birds, watch the bees, and let my cat play in the yard. Even if it's just for a few minutes, I can feel the difference in my spirit on the days I'm able to do it. The facial mist in the fridge is genius! I get overheated easily and I can see this being a lifesaver. I made lemon and cucumber water the other day and it was so refreshing. Your windowsill garden looks great by the way! i just came across your channel and this is my first video watching. So beautiful. Love your creative side (i am very creative too) and the soothing pace of the video. I must say, i had the same feelings towards one of the seasons - winter, which for a very long time i didnt like, but i am learning to enjoy it, just like you, by being present. I love late spring and early summer the most, when the flowers are in full bloom, the greenery is fresh and smells in the air are simply magical, it is full of butterflies and here where i live (Bucharest, Romania) there are lots of linden trees that fill the mornings and evenings with a hypnotic scent. And then, there is also the majestic beauty of fall, but this also came late in life for me, to love it, and i still think that there is nothing more magical than flowers, bees and butterflies. The only downside to summer is the heat these days, but daily walks in the biggest park with a lake nearby my house during early mornings are still deeply fulfilling.
I'm struggling mentally at the moment and your video really calmed me down, thank you 💗It makes me excited for summer to come ! Before that I will celebrate Midsummer day, finding joy and peace rather than pressuring myself to enjoy things to the fullest, being there in the moment and letting magic come to you is the best way to achieve happiness, I need to reconnect myself to my heart and that's what I'll do

I dread summer..while I love the colors of the garden veggies and the flowers, I live in AZ. Not the super crazy hot area, but more north. But, everything is sooo brown. I felt 20 degrees cooler just seeing all the lovely green surrounding you. I am a Maryland native and somehow, I forget the humidity that goes along with all the green. So, I will make the most of the summer days and try to find the calm and adventure in each day as I patiently wait for cooler weather! Is it too early to dress the house for fall, asking for a friend! LOL Thanks for the lovely video

I dread summer..while I love the colors of the garden veggies and the flowers, I live in AZ. Not the super crazy hot area, but more north. But, everything is sooo brown. I felt 20 degrees cooler just seeing all the lovely green surrounding you. I am a Maryland native and somehow, I forget the humidity that goes along with all the green. So, I will make the most of the summer days and try to find the calm and adventure in each day as I patiently wait for cooler weather! Is it too early to dress the house for fall, asking for a friend! LOL Thanks for the lovely video

Yesss I love the green here in the summer, but my goodness the humidity is a lot 😅 and it is NEVER too early to decorate for fall, in my book!! 🍁 I always start in August (at the latest) --I just can't help myself hahah!
