I absolutely love how much you’re putting yourself back into the food chain while bow hunting. I don’t mean any disrespect but anyone can shoot a deer with a rifle from 70 yards it’s a real skill to get a good hit like that with a bow at 70 yards it’s more fair to the deer and definitely more fun in the end
Some people aren’t fortunate enough to hunt bucks like this which is the reason I hunt with my rifle through out gun season I don’t have opportunities every day on big bucks maybe a couple times a season so I need something that’ll shoot farther than 80 yards

I'd question the ethics of the shot. 72 yards is a long way for a bow. It would have been easy to make a less than perfect shot and lose the animal. But it all worked out. Great shot
I have seen a *lot* of archery and rifle hunting videos. That is probably the easiest #1 shot of any video I have ever seen. That is a simply incredible shot.

Not to feed his family or stop over population were all the deer slowly starve to death instead of a quick clean hart shot where the deer can barely feel it and will die in seconds or minutes.
Im a Hunter in europe, so nothing against hunting overall. But whats the drive in Hunting with a bow ? is a gun not better like Blaser R8 or Sauer 100 in cal. 308 perfect for almost all game. i just cant think that ab bow can perform better than a gun. We need to hunt but make it as less painfull as we can for Nature and make shure no animals suffer. pls consider my perspective and if im wrong bc im not expierienced in it pls chance my mind

I looked up the long form video, waited for the zoomed in slo-mo, slowed that down to 25%, and watched it twice more. Look at the leaf the arrow hits: when the arrow first shows up there is no deer behind it. He moves significantly forward into the flight path. Which is fine. A little good fortune never hurts.
Great shooting and an incredible shot but... spotters and ear-pieces isn't sportsman like at all. I'm really disappointed in this trend on some of these hunting channels.
