I cannot think of a better cinematic representation of the experience of real hunting, watching your arrow skip off into the distance was dare I say, beautiful! I have given up trying to explain to people that don’t hunt, just how much work it takes to even get into a position to take a shot like that, let alone film it. The beautiful part I’m referring to is both the awesome footage, and that the shot was a clean miss, with no injured animal, and the heartbreak of doing all that work, and not quite pulling it off. I believe you did everything you could to be successful, and I’m grateful you posted this video. A lot of people do not realise how many days go into these few minutes of footage, and despite doing your best, misses happen. I’m glad you showed the struggle, and the raw emotion. This has got to be my favorite hunting video of all time because it captures the emotions/feelings of a true hunter. It captures the preparation, the dedication, the sacrifice, the hard work, the beauty of the outdoors, and the failure - all without a single word. Superbly done!
This is one of my favorite films ever. No words needed. Can feel the ups and downs. So many times it’s just the glory shots and success pictures but this is real archery hunting.
This is the best true hunting video I have ever watched. No setups and no stupid whispering and no post kill explanation of how hard it was and how massive obstacles were overcome to down something at 150 yards with the best rifle money can buy! Enjoyed it. Oh and not too long!

Was so happy to see the lots of wilderness creatures whether big or small, hoofed, winged, or with paws that some people never realize hunters get to share during their hunting experience on this good Earth. I’ve watched a lot (all of your stuff I can find), which sometimes includes multiple views of the same hunt to learn how to be a better predator. I watch your videos pretty cool bro never hunted with a bow but your videos want me to give it a go. Bow hunting is not that big here in New Zealand all the animals we hunt are considered pest so we get to hunt all year round and shoot as many animals as we want. But I’m Keen to get a bow and give it a blast.

Colorado recently introduced wolves. Not many years hence and you'll see very few deer, elk, moose, pronghorn, and bison.
