The fact that its one of the first songs written and produced by Jungkook and its one of the fans favorite! Truly special.
Yes the songs inspiration came from Jungkook after seeing the magic shop at Disney in Tokayo. Jungkook along with Suga, J Hope, D.J. Swivel Adora, RM, Candace Souza and Hiss Noise also took part in writing this song. It's a beautiful song for Army...✌💜

Magic Shop is a hug from BTS to ARMY. It's warmth, and comfort, and love. If we feel sad or down, we can go to the Magic Shop, and there they are.
Watch the performance of it from the 5th Muster Busan concert. Oh, and JKs performance of it at his Golden showcase, right before he enlisted - he left space for his members voices and just listened to them. Makes me cry every time.

Saw this live and it is AMAZING to be in that cheering crowd. They are always blown away by Army’s voices. Also the Army Bombs (light sticks) are all Bluetooth programmed to change colors with the songs and are tied to your seat so they spell out things in the crowd during the show. it is a thing to behold. Saving now for 2025.

Jungkook did an incredible job writing this song. He allows BTS to truly share their love with the Army. Jungkooks' love of the Army is legendary. Every BTS member shines in this song. 💜
I particularly like V and J-Hope's parts, though.
It's the first song written by Jungkook and he said he wrote this song while thinking abiut Armys....It is literally my most favourite comforting song... nothing comforts me and gives me strength the way "Magic Shop" and also "Answer: Love Myself" do !! Also do check out "Answer : Love Myself "...it also has very powerful lyrics !!

Alongside We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal, Magic Shop is probably my favorite BTS song!! It's so beautiful, emotional, inspiration, and just perfect! It's their second official ARMY song, saying that they'll be there for and comfort ARMY just as they've been there for BTS.

I heard it relatively early in my BTS journey and the song means a lot to me. “I won’t say obvious things like ‘cheer up’” made me realize they REALLY understand mental health and how saying something like cheer up isn’t helpful. They have so many songs where they just get it. I’m thankful for that, but I’m also sad that they understand it so well.
It seems to be part of the human condition and I'm glad that they chose to be so honest in an actual pop song. 💜

What lifts BTS performances (and interviews!) above the normal level for me is their 'ad lib' behaviour where they allow their energy & personalities to shine through.
In this song alone, we see them kissing the camera and leaning or crouching down to fully look into it, making heart fingers, grabbing another member by the hand, V just raising his eyebrows at the camera, RM putting his hand to his ear, Jimin & Jin bending backwards or forwards to really belt a note out and of course JK's call & response with the crowd before the song even started.
All of these are special moments that make an already amazing performance even greater. 💜
Yes! They're fabulous performers and very sincere ones - I like these less choreographed songs because we get to see them play and interact and just inhabit the song. So cool.
That's what my Bitis have become, a magic door and when I need comfort, I open that door through all the socmed, just to listen to them and see them in their different facets. I love them so much 😭❤
Magic Shop makes my heart all shining and happy. It truly makes the world a better place for those who hear it and understand it’s’ message, even if only a little, it helps. This is one of the BTS songs that helped me deal with the aftermath of losing my Dad suddenly, when i was 19, I’m not sure if I ever will really heal from that, I guess no one does, but I learned that life is still good on the other side of the grief and shock- I feel that BTS held my hand through this journey. Loss is very painful and these young men brought me immense comfort when I needed it most - they were there for me without even knowing it - I’m in their debt and will always support them 💜🌺

So, this song initiated with Jungkook. It is a ballad to ARMY. Know that the references to "doors" directly relate to BTS and ARMY in that the symbols/icons for each represent doors opening, each in the opposite direction. As you enjoy hearing them sing...their vocals without a lot on top and around, watch Proof Live. It is the seven sitting in Nevada desert with just a band (which includes Anderson.Paak). They perform to no audience and with no frills Born Singer, Yet to Come and For Youth. It is beautifully done and truly showcases their talents. Of course, watching the Magic Shop show would be worth your while.

Louder than bombs doesn't have a live or a music video but they have a lyrics video and a beautiful fan made music video. I love this performance so much! But just a comment about your reaction, we all have our bias, but I’m not sure that you know you talk over Jungkook always in almost every reaction. You don’t comment on his performances very much either, which is your choice but I like the whole picture of BTS. And in this song Jungkook is all the back ground vocals, not to mention he sings his part flawlessly! Also he was one of the writers of Magic shop. Really enjoy your critiques but include them all 🥰
You make it seem like I purposefully speak only when JK is singing when I literally talk over all of them at some point in this reaction.
In fact JK is one of the members I’ve covered most on this channel.
I literally say at 5:15 when JK sings that it sounds incredible so I do comment on him and praise him like I comment on all of them so let’s not try to pick negatives and focus on the positives 👍☺️

I'm sure I've told you that you have to watch the Magic Shop skit from the Fifth Muster. I very much doubt you can show it here but you need to watch Jimin at his flirty best. It's touching and funny with a very sweet ending but Jimin as the flirty shopkeeper is unmissable. The whole Muster is wonderful.
