Tips: The Jagdtiger is a tank destroyer with heavy armor and a great gun, however, the mobility is really bad, so you better play it as a sniper, and the 128mm is strong enough to pen super pershing upper front plate and T34 upper front plate as well as T26E5, you could have done it easily. and in urban maps, you need to stay between buildings or hide behind buildings but let anyone get to your side, having a teamate can always help :)
Turning a jagdtiger to meet the enemy always requires EXCESSIVE vocalization and praise to the fat machine spirit to GIVE IT SOME EXTRA TURNING SPEED FOR GOD SAKES!

And then I see this and I realize that while he is infinitely better than me at this game, even people like him do suffer too in this cruel game.
I feel like there's this irrational fear around the Jagdtiger that makes everyone on the other team stop whatever they are doing and go after you. It is a menacing thing, but easy to kill due to how slow and bouncy it is.
This fear is due to it being “public knowledge” that this is heavily armed and armored, but is also regularly facing vehicles of the post-war that were designed to defeat it.
They're kinda scary in a down tier when the player using it is skilled and hangs back in a hull down position. At least until they get barrel/track sniped and the P47s sniff them out.
I love how 6.7 just isn't a real battle rating, like my favorite vehicles are the late war german one's but when I play them I only play against cold war Russian, American, and Italian vehicles

It's kind of refreshing to watch you struggle and get insta-yeeted... Normally you're in a vehicle/s and you do phenomenally (you make it seem so simple). Even with your skill and map knowledge though, this thing have you a hard time... I swear its more prevalent on German teams. I barely play Germany and I have like 5 nations in top tier yet I tried to play German 3.0-5.3 and anytime they get hit they just pop smoke even if it doesn't pen. Makes me were I can't see shit at apl.

But when you get a group of real German Mains (which I am not one) it’s a sight to behold. I hate that new snowy map (which I just call “Snow Blind”). Playing German tech tree for me = getting shot in the back by while seeing team mates drive right past enemy tanks and half the team leave after getting killed in 4 min. Russia = finding myself all alone with no teammates for suppor at key map point. In roughly 70% of matches I get get full up-tiered i.e facing a 4.7 enemy us/ussr tank in a french 3.7. = Not fun... Also ww2 tech should not face modern tech..German WW2 tanks is simply justbto slow and under armored at higher br. Also love/hate T34-57, but it bounce more shots then penning when up tiered to 5.7.. not fair. Love this game, but it is getting silly. Ps..faced a mixed game today, Russia v Russia, US v US etc.. wth wt not cool? Match making need rethinking. Love your vids odd.. keepemcomming.
i understand the aids of balancing the german tech tree tho. the tiger 2 H is pretty much unkillable at longer ranges if the player using it is good. The game needs fixes bad tho i agree
When I was playing JagTiger it was a beast on a higher tier, I jumped on people like a tiger fighting face to face, and on far range an impenetrable bunker. I even used it with my Leopard as a backup vehicle. The only weakness it had is getting bombed and flanking light tanks. Now it's just a sluggish monster trying to hunt few tanks.
Odd, I feel you. I play mostly AB and this tank just suxxxxx hard. I am a fairly good player but after playing just one game in this POS I just noped out. The armour is mostly irrelevant at 7.7, the mobility (that nose dip!!! 😖) is just bad and the reload is so slow that, in AB, tanks can drive off after having their engine shot out even before you reload. I agree with your complaints 100%. Amazing feat of persistence to force yourself through this. 🙂👍
It wouldn’t be so bad if 6.7 Germany didn’t get permanently sucked into 7.3 or 7.7. You never get 5.7-6.7 or even 6.0-7.0 games with its lineup. So you just end up facing mostly tanks that don’t care about its armor.

As a budding wheraboo I unlocked the tiger h1. In Alaska close quarters brawling I killed 2 tanks feeling invincible. Before whiffing a shot on an ARL and getting a dose of reality.

This is the issue I've had with Tiger II's and my entire German 6,7 line.. Constant uptiers. The only thing you can still play then is light tanks with HEAT-FS.. I don't envy Gaijin trying to balance this nightmare, but some tanks are just not viable to play, which I think is a shame.
Same here. Its painful against Brits/Swedes APDS - armor means nothing 🤨. I believe for my 6.7 lineup I included the Jagtiger and Kugelblitz who are in Rank V so almost constantly getting uptiered - 7.7. 🤔
Man... the best games i have always is with my german 6.7 lineup ... very op lineup!! I use He 177A5 , Bf109K4, Tiger II HSla16, Tiger II H, Jagdtiger, WAFFENTRIGER (Almoust dont play.. but have) and KUGELBLITTZ!!!
Also, I don’t understand the logic behind reducing research rewards. It’s not balancing anything. With the exception of BawZ and this tank most players have spaded and aced every tank they use. This only hurts new players
@@frankmartel3428 they also lowered the amount of RP you get overall, like they snuck a lowering of the amount of RP earned overall in claiming it was so people wouldnt be bored after a week of grinding out a tree, but everybody knows its to drive people to buy premium (vehicles) (if i remember correctly it was 0.667 rp per point and they lowered it to 0.447)

Hello OddBawZ talking about French tonks, I have an idea of a pretty simple/easy challenge to make you feel better after that forthcoming ARL-44 video : Use the AMX-50 Superbias (Surbaissé) with only HE shells. I want to see you dumping a full autoloader of 120mm HE shells on Marder and Wiesels !
I will never forget, there was a match, single cap, i think it was on middle east, a jagtiger was overwatching an area we had to cross to get to the point, it eviscerated our team, at that range no normal tanks could pen it, some light tanks and spgs with heatfs could, but they would get shredded by aircraft before they got the chance, that game solidified to me that this thing has to be taken very seriously, yes it needed a lot of support and protection from it's team to not get flanked or bombed, but head on nothing could take it in that position, and it went on a massacre.
This tank is really fun *in a lineup*. Getting out and knocking out some big heavies in one shot, getting two or three kills, dying, then coming back in a plane or other tank, it's fine.
I used to want this tank when it was top tier but these days you're better off sticking to mediums so you can at least have mobility. Apart of me wants to go back but that grind for a returning player is absolutely brutal.
Big German cats are usually so bad at brawling with all the low profile mediums running around, but flank across half the map, get a comfy spot and the guns are a treat... even the armor is pretty good at long ranges. Im saying this because im not very good, but watching Odd gave me some very good ideas about all kinds of nice spots.
@OddBawz I really think it's important, and thank you for showing us how many uptiers you had in a row. Same thing with the unhelpful players. I quit for almost 3 years over that kind of thing. It really helps to know its not only me and that a positive attitude will get me through. Keep up the good work.

First view of your videos, I liked the in depth length, but edited and condensed gameplay to show funny or exciting moments, lead up and lead down from them, without too much padding… i also liked the idea of sections that cover slightly different experiences.. maybe if you can make sections that show off AA, sniping, charging, I dunno, just different things that keep us interested instead of seeing just a timeline of gameplay. Lol the 7.0 tips comment was exactly my experience when I got the Leo 1 the other day. Proceeded to get immediately upturned about a dozen times. If I didn't get killed immediately I would go 90 percent of the match without seeing an alive enemy. Different pace alright.
I remember playing it but it was little back in time when British tank were moved up to 7.3/7.7 and most of German players had a brain plus when I gor untied I didn't need to face the herds on PT-76-57. But when it's get battle with it own br or down tier it can dominate. I still remember when I got down tier to 5.7 with Jagtiger on map Fire arc amd was killing people from 2,2km and more and they couldn't do anything to me at that distance.
you'd be amazed what an aircraft can keep flying through, what usually killed them was loss of a specific system: putting holes in a plane does surprisingly little to it's aerodynamics or structure and even something major like shooting half the tail off still leaves a lot of bodyplans aerodynamically valid to limp away, but stitching a line of bullet holes down a wing is gonna pop half it's fuel tanks and maybe set some ammo on fire and most of the space in the aircraft's body has something that does something in it. all in all it can make a plane's effective durability bizarrely random because you need to take out specific combinations of systems, one plane flies home missing half a wing and the other half of it's tail with a couple dozen bullets lodged in the engine while another of the same model gets shot down with a handgun because they just happened to hit every redundant linkage to a control surface and a flap jams in the wrong spot...of all things the wires-and-cloth era planes were famous for that: hit anything but the pilot or engine and they pretty much didn't even notice
It took me 5 replays to get through this whole video and my doctor has told me to stop watching as I can't get another concussion from passing out and hitting my head on my desk from laughing so hard! 🤣

my first experience with the jagdtiger was amazing. 5 kills no deaths on sweden. unfortunatly it went all downhill after that.

This is the issue I've had with Tiger II's and my entire German 6,7 line.. Constant uptiers. The only thing you can still play then is light tanks with HEAT-FS.. I don't envy Gaijin trying to balance this nightmare, but some tanks are just not viable to play, which I think is a shame.
Same here. Its painful against Brits/Swedes APDS - armor means nothing 🤨. I believe for my 6.7 lineup I included the Jagtiger and Kugelblitz who are in Rank V so almost constantly getting uptiered - 7.7. 🤔
Man... the best games i have always is with my german 6.7 lineup ... very op lineup!! I use He 177A5 , Bf109K4, Tiger II HSla16, Tiger II H, Jagdtiger, WAFFENTRIGER (Almoust dont play.. but have) and KUGELBLITTZ!!!

Also, I don’t understand the logic behind reducing research rewards. It’s not balancing anything. With the exception of BawZ and this tank most players have spaded and aced every tank they use. This only hurts new players

@@frankmartel3428 they also lowered the amount of RP you get overall, like they snuck a lowering of the amount of RP earned overall in claiming it was so people wouldnt be bored after a week of grinding out a tree, but everybody knows its to drive people to buy premium (vehicles)
(if i remember correctly it was 0.667 rp per point and they lowered it to 0.447)

Hello OddBawZ talking about French tonks, I have an idea of a pretty simple/easy challenge to make you feel better after that forthcoming ARL-44 video : Use the AMX-50 Superbias (Surbaissé) with only HE shells. I want to see you dumping a full autoloader of 120mm HE shells on Marder and Wiesels !
I will never forget, there was a match, single cap, i think it was on middle east, a jagtiger was overwatching an area we had to cross to get to the point, it eviscerated our team, at that range no normal tanks could pen it, some light tanks and spgs with heatfs could, but they would get shredded by aircraft before they got the chance, that game solidified to me that this thing has to be taken very seriously, yes it needed a lot of support and protection from it's team to not get flanked or bombed, but head on nothing could take it in that position, and it went on a massacre.

This tank is really fun *in a lineup*. Getting out and knocking out some big heavies in one shot, getting two or three kills, dying, then coming back in a plane or other tank, it's fine.

I used to want this tank when it was top tier but these days you're better off sticking to mediums so you can at least have mobility. Apart of me wants to go back but that grind for a returning player is absolutely brutal.

Big German cats are usually so bad at brawling with all the low profile mediums running around, but flank across half the map, get a comfy spot and the guns are a treat... even the armor is pretty good at long ranges.
Im saying this because im not very good, but watching Odd gave me some very good ideas about all kinds of nice spots.

@OddBawz I really think it's important, and thank you for showing us how many uptiers you had in a row. Same thing with the unhelpful players. I quit for almost 3 years over that kind of thing. What I love about your videos is you have fun.. You laugh and enjoy the game play..
First view of your videos, I liked the in depth length, but edited and condensed gameplay to show funny or exciting moments, lead up and lead down from them, without too much padding… i also liked the idea of sections that cover slightly different experiences.. maybe if you can make sections that show off AA, sniping, charging, I dunno, just different things that keep us interested instead of seeing just a timeline of gameplay.

I remember playing it but it was little back in time when British tank were moved up to 7.3/7.7 and most of German players had a brain plus when I gor untied I didn't need to face the herds on PT-76-57. But when it's get battle with it own br or down tier it can dominate. I still remember when I got down tier to 5.7 with Jagtiger on map Fire arc amd was killing people from 2,2km and more and they couldn't do anything to me at that distance.
This pain is me at almost any BR lately. Usually don’t have skill issues like that though…

you'd be amazed what an aircraft can keep flying through, what usually killed them was loss of a specific system: putting holes in a plane does surprisingly little to it's aerodynamics or structure and even something major like shooting half the tail off still leaves a lot of bodyplans aerodynamically valid to limp away, but stitching a line of bullet holes down a wing is gonna pop half it's fuel tanks and maybe set some ammo on fire and most of the space in the aircraft's body has something that does something in it.
all in all it can make a plane's effective durability bizarrely random because you need to take out specific combinations of systems, one plane flies home missing half a wing and the other half of it's tail with a couple dozen bullets lodged in the engine while another of the same model gets shot down with a handgun because they just happened to hit every redundant linkage to a control surface and a flap jams in the wrong spot...of all things the wires-and-cloth era planes were famous for that: hit anything but the pilot or engine and they pretty much didn't even notice
