Miss Sandy, thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. I am just getting started with tapestry crochet. I wouldn't be able to do so if not for wonderful people like yourself who are so willing to teach us what you know. Please never stop!!

I plan on being around for a good long time, but I am 62, lol. Getting started with tapestry crochet is a wonderful adventure of color. Welcome to the club, 👍😊

Thanks for this video. It's been a long while since I've crocheted regularly, and this was a good refresher for me.
I'm also glad that you should pictures with a much lighter yarn. It made it easy to see what things look like for people like me who have a hard time with darker colours when learning sometimes. 🙂

HI SANDY~ I haven't seen you in a long while.. you were helping a friend move out of state( if my memory serves me correctly in the detail) I am trying to create a ll bag with a specific design and was struggling a bit. You know , jus not happy with my design. I knew I needed a different stitch style.. that led me right back to you! YAY!! I was thinking this was something else and had to giggle, I'm a total back loops gal. Its the .. well, you get the best of everything when you start a project this way. beautiful beginning with the v all purdy looking in the right direction.. hahah and the ease in the project going forth. Not a tight no giving first row( when I curl up with something I worked so hard on I don't want a lil thorn poking me saying" see this is bunched ,puckered or feels like it would snap if tugged just right" No Noo I want comfort n squishy goodness from end to end , even if its only a mental understanding, I've done my best and quite honestly, I think the life of the piece has a longer threshold as well. Oh My I've gone on down a rabbit hole haha They didn't call me squirrel for nothing way back when . I really wanted to pop in mention the ST and say Hi HOW ARE YOU? I pray this find you doing wonderfully , especially during this bazaar time were all withstanding. I certainly would love to here from you and would enjoy seeing something new in the way of Chet. I know last we shared a convo you were excited to do somethings you had lined up.. Ahhh but life right! Well I reckon I'll check myself here and send you a great big Hug & Many Bless'ns from my heart to yours~
    Until then ,
    TTNT
    (toddles till next time )

Question regarding back post, won’t that leave a line every other row?
I just started tapestry or graphing as I’ve seen some people call it. I was doing fine with 2 colors and decided to add a third color and for some reason nothing lines up

Hi Lisa, this is done in the beginning chain only. It's not continued throughout the tapestry project. You should plan how many colors you wish to use and add them all at the beginning. Each color you add will actually increase the height of a stitch. For example: This video shows working with 2 colors. You'd be carrying one color while crocheting with the other. If you add a third color (carrying 2 and crocheting with one) the height of your stitches is going to change. I hope this helps.
