    I haven't even finished the video, but I wanted to say that after 30 minutes of Googling you are the first person to finally answer my question about images in crochet circles. THANK YOU!

    I am so happy I have found your videos. You and I are exactly the same age and I think we have so many things in common, I love crocheting although I have not practiced as much as you have. The major difference is that I am Spanish but I love creative people and women who want to do things in a different way even if they are not so young. I wish you will go on with your videos for a long time.

    Can you do a pattern that is symmetrical on one direction?

  • @alexandrap9368
    @alexandrap9368 2 года назад +1

    Amazing tutorial! This is just what I was looking for. I do have one question: why must the pattern be symmetrical? Will the image be distorted? For example, I am looking to make a round design with a crescent moon and other elements inside. So the image is round but only symmetrical down the vertical axis. I might try it anyways, but I'm curious if you think this method is appropriate for that type of project?
    Thank you!

Not sure if its due to the brain injury I'm recovering from or ..lol I just need the visual. so, I'm hoping you have a tute to go along with one of the make a square round. @@CrochetFiberArt I need to see you do the increase sections. I was understanding everything you were explaining until the lines and where you were saying to put them. I'm sorry my previous text didn't make sense. Sometimes getting things from brain to text is a little difficult to compute. I have to thank the good Lord I can communicate at all. Thank you for replying so quickly. Oh. I did go tti the website sends swe tee photos but again im a visual learner. I can't wait to see all the new videos/ tutorials your going to be sharing. I love your attention to detail. I'm very much the same way. If you can do something great or that's pleasing to the eye, rather than just doing it to get it done( sometimes lack of knowledge...Giggle that's where you come in Sandy Marie😊 ) I'm re learning everything at the bright young age of... lolol umm maybe not so young but, learning the same. I'm hooking along watching videos etc. and I see things that u just can't let be. It's a struggle because I can see where it just needs to be done better.. not necessarily right. It might just be a bit of OCD on my part lolol I don't know but just seeing the picture to the right of your video that reads THIS? OR THIS? I had to check it out. So a big THANK ♥️ YOU. I try to hello others learn Chet(cro"chet") because of what it's done for my healing and the fact it's given me new pathways to abilities they said I'd not have again. So when I help others learn I want to give the best info to begin with. Maybe one day I'll have the equipment etc. To do informative vids as well( something I've been thinking about for months) regardless I'll be enjoying and sharing yours🤗

      @@CrochetFiberArt hi sandy. I had a thought last night and it just dawned on me. I was wondering if you could do a couple/ one tutorial on how to do a rounded end rectangle ( long oval) with no holes in the corner increases. So it's solid. And the same for a squared corner rectangle. The one that grows in a Y on each end. And the same again for a square. I'm now sure this makes sense. I can find tutorials for ovals, rectangles and squares but they all have holes around ther corner increases. I'd like solids because I make bags. Humm making sense, lol I'm not sure. I hope so! Have a blessed day😊

      @@kathleenchamp3764 First, I'm in the process of moving a friend from Florida to my home in New Mexico (at our age is best to NOT live alone, lol). The packing is pretty much done, there are some final chores, then it's load the truck and drive 2,000 miles. @@kathleenchamp3764 Brief explanation: On the Graph, when you come to the first line, that stitch goes in the next stitch of the work. The second line goes into the SAME stitch (that's 2 stitches in the same stitch). The lines are through the colors to tell you if their is a color change in the increase. I hope this helps a little. And, I do thank you for pointing out that I should explain the increase a little better. :-)

    Wondering if you have the free pdf listed somewhere. I can’t find it - just the notes that say that it is moving and to check back. Love this video - so helpful! If I were doing a circle crochet item with awareness ribbons in it (pink for breast cancer, etc) and wanted to create the design on a square sheet (graph it), if I have the ribbons drawn correctly, will they keep their shape when changing the design to a circle? Like your cross pattern in this video - I plan on having four larger awareness ribbons and without them being large solid designs - I’m concerned about the outlines of the ribbons getting out of whack. Would love your opinion on this? Great helpful info. I like how you mark your increases and how you use drawing a line around the boxes to keep track of where you are. What is the math that is needed to figure out the number of increases needed for each round? Thank you.

    Well I found your video! However, it doesn't address my particular problem. The pattern I'm working on doesn't give a full graph. I'm not sure if I should attempt to draw out a full graph or if there's a trick. Who knew this could be so hard for someone who's crocheted her entire life?
