Here at KIFARU we are working on a 100% USA made tether that doesn't use overseas buckles. The one that we are developing will attach to the webbing on the back of the pouch that the harness passes through. That way it stays on the side of the harness and doesn't get snagged on anything when using it.
I think this just convinced me to go t&k. I currently have the stone glacier harness. Nice and lightweight but lacks adjustability. I like the over the shoulder buckles so I'm not squeezing my head through the hole and the accessories attached directly to the side and stay secure. I've also struggled with one handed use with the non magnetic rf pouches
It takes a few bino harnesses before you find the right one. The main reason I like the Kifaru is because it's no mag, but I agree, the RF pouch can be a bit difficult to flip in the open position.
This video was very helpful - in that it became clear that neither product is right for me. Magnets are also a non-starter for my needs. Would love to hear about other brands and also the next gen Kifaru in the future.
I am glad the video helped. I know I have cycled through a few bino harnesses over the years to find one that fits my needs People have been asking for other bino harness reviews, so I am looking into a few others.
@@MichiganAmBushOutdoorsThe Kuiu product seems like it would be great, but for some reason I have not seen comparative reviews. Badlands and Muley Freak also seem like contenders. Difficult for a reviewer to try them all though, I’m sure.
I think I’m going to use the Nav pouch when I’m turkey hunting but not for deer hunting. I’m able to fit my slate call and the strikers in the Nav pouch.
Also, there is a spot on each side of the bino harness to attach your tether for the range finder. I actually like it that way because it keeps the tether out of the way when you use the range finder. They’re right where the lid folds over.
So I was a magnet skeptic forever. But I just got the new FHF bino harness and it did not mess with my gps. Haven’t tried a compass but had no issues with phone gps. Phones use magnets for charging etc so if you have a newer phone I feel like it may not mess with it as much or at all.
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe FHF used smaller magnets in their harness, which could be while you aren't seeing any issues. I would like to get one and check it out. I've heard good things.
Personally, I think they did a great job however, I would like to see padded straps offered and a different lining material used as mine is already showing wear. I did change my straps out with my Marsupial ones and that made a big improvement. Other than that, I think they did a great job. I like the look, and snug fit for the binos, and how the pockets on the side are a form fit.
@melvinsacromentoe From what I've researched, FHF doesn't use as many mags, so it should affect your GPS. However, I've never tested it, to say for sure.

Kifaru one looks like a prototype that someone made for personal use, baggy and bulky and not nicely finished like the Marsupial. Just my honest opinion, I dont own either and Ill never own the Marsupial bc I dont want magnets either. I own 2 AGC packs but I need one more for some new binos, leaning toward the original FHF and the Muley Freak (hate that name btw) Nice comaprison🫡👌
Two things…He’s comparing the Kifaru to a non enclosed marsupial and He’s pronouncing Kifaru wrong…ruined the entire Video with those two things…might as well not even spent the time making the video…waste of everyone’s time 🙄
Other than two side walls, the marsupial enclosed and standard are the same, so you get a clear understanding of what both offer. Sorry, the video didn't meet your expectations.

I'm looking forward to checking this out once it becomes available! You guys did an outstanding job on the bino harness 👊🏼.

Yes, as you can imagine, it gets expensive pretty quickly.
Why did swapping to the marsupial from the kifaru help with sweating?
having thinner straps without the padding will help reduce hot spots, but I put the marsupial straps on the Kifaru harness.

😮I didn't even think about that! Good
Call. I can see that working out nice for chasing Turkey on public.
I will have to check this out. Thanks for pointing that out and clearing that up.
Have you tried Kuiu?
I have not
I have the kuiu harness, and it sucks

@@MichiganAmBushOutdoors I’ve ran their old one, stone glaciers, sitkas, kuiu and now I just go to the new FHF. It’s really perfect.
Everyone I know who has it says good things.
@@MichiganAmBushOutdoors I expected more from kifaru. But whatever all their stuff is awesome

To me it looks like the marsupial is more slim than the kifaru
They are about the same, but the mags in the marsupial are a deal killer for me when hunting. However, I do like running in during the 3D season.
@ I got you. I’m thinking about running a fob fromfhf gearpersonally

That's a lot of running there brother
Thanks man. Going for 500 miles this year.
If its not one hand operation to open and close then it's not for this whitetail hunter. MARS for the win! Especially with buckle delete
That is a nice feature of the Marsupial but I like not having the magnetic.
Kifaroooooooooo not U. 😉
I know….I know….I get hammered on the pronunciation. I got it now 😂
I’m very interested in the Kifaru bino harness. Could you share the Kifaru Facebook page so I can ask other guys questions. Thanks

The video was very informative, but I do agree that the mispronunciation was distracting.
Thanks for watching and the feedback
