I’m several years late but your videos are so helpful for me 😩😩💕 it’s nice to be able to find someone explaining everything in depth. I’ve been needing the guidance during my healing time right now.

I am so glad you found these videos helpful. I wanted to make them because I didn't see anything that explained it well before my own surgery. It's now been over 8 years since my surgery and I am doing really well now. It's not been an issue for me at all.

1k1ngst0n Thank you very much! I looked for videos before my surgery and didn't find the kind of thing that I wanted to see so I decided to make them myself. I am glad you like it.

    Thanks Cassis!
I'm post op 17 days and saw my surgeon a few days ago for my 1st F/U Appt. must wear brace 6 more weeks, start PT after four weeks. The thing is I've been sick with a cold for the past 5 days. My husband stayed with me in the hospital and he got the cold first, my symptoms lingered until the past week while I'm at my weakest point. Been taking mucinex last 24 hours and I have to say I'm doing much better. As for the Acdf 2 level at 4,5,and 5,6. Muscle stiffness in shoulders and neck from guarding and wearing my brace is cumbersome! Yes! I'm glad I got it done! Much better!

Hello, great to see you are doing well. I was wondering how many levels you had. Was your neck otherwise fine? Best wishes

I had one level fused. I have not had any problems with my neck in the 9 years since surgery.

is the feeling to your hands and arms back to normal?

More than 6 years after surgery and I still have a tiny bit of numbness in two fingers, which I suspect I will have for life, but that's all I notice now and it doesn't really bother me anymore. I made an update video recently discussing how I feel now. ruclips.net/video/4K99QzQYjps/видео.html

    Scar Care
My doctor suggested open a vitamin E capsule and put it on twice a day and use McDerma to the site!

+ladytee97 vitamin E works well. I've used it on other scars. My scar isn't really noticeable at all anymore.

Thanks! I'm hoping mine fade my skin color! I'm so happy I got my surgery done! The numb and tingling I had the 1st two has gone and all I have now is the neck muscle and mid back soreness now! At first I could not touch my fingers to my thumb! The doctor said my spinal cord severely compressed and the feeling would come back! I'm doing better each day and just to say to anyone who needs this surgery, don't be afraid, get it done and start feeling better! I can't wait for the all clear and get my.L5 and S 1 done! I need a TLIF! I had all this 15 years since my car accident! Problems started in 2009!
