Is it true they have problem eyesight because still young. But when grown up all good. I bought mine online. Mine is also a she just bought her last year 2023 march. Didn’t know online shopping turtles reptiles really works. 😊❤❤
None of my albinos see very well, including the adult

You mentioned going heavy on the plants to help out their sensitive eyes--are there any other concerns with Albino Sliders?... more specifically, I was thinking about adding one to our outdoor pond where our other sliders and painters (box turtles too) winter over here in Southeast VA.
After building outdoor enclosures, I'll never go back to aquariums except for the babies! It's just so cool to watch them hunt snails, dragonfly larvae, tadpoles and other natural prey items just as they would if in the wild and of course there's no UVB bulb better than the sun!
I don’t know the full list of possible issues with albino sliders, but I’ve noticed they don’t see very well, just like my albino snapper. They seem to appreciate shade, but still bask
