Good to see you back. I lived in MD for 40 years plus. Spotted turtles are a treasure. Interesting that all in your video were males - getting ready for females to show. Males have concave plastron, black/dark chin, bigger tail. Keep up the good work!
Hi, great to see you upload again! I have been subscribed for years and watch all your videos! I can’t wait for it to warm up to do some herping around here! Can you do an animal update? Also I would like to see you look for some salamanders!
Ever go to Pennsylvania n look for box turtles Smh When i was a kid could find them anywhere after a summer rain last 5years we go out my n my sons 630-7am n still ant found any
I don't but I live in Maryland and we have box turtles too. Sometimes I even find them in my yard. They are few and far between though, I hope you find some. I find most of mine crossing roads.
I'm happy herping seasons getting closer. Hope you have a good year of adventures!
Thanks! A good year would mean more content. Hope you have a great herping season too.
Good to see you back!
Welcome back. Great video as always. Keep an eye out for Midland Painted Turtles.

Thanks for the support! I can try to look for salamanders but I usually only find red-bellies. I'll try though. Maybe I'll do a critter update too.
Those were some really nice turtles. Have you considered leaving sheets of metal or wooden boards out for snakes to hide under?
I've got a few boards around but all I ever find under them is the occasional ringneck or garter snake. I do need to set up more though.
