    I definitely believe that more African Nations should make an easy path for Africans of the diaspora to come back home, because their ancestors are our ancestors. Those of us that were born in the diaspora are descendants of their ancestors that were kidnapped, so we are of the same blood. The other thing that our people in Africa should realize is those of us who were born in the diaspora know how the Europeans/Westerners think, so we would be a great benefit in helping our people on the continent in dealing with these European/Western Nations. They realize that if we ever get to come together with our people in Africa, it will be over for them and Africa would rule the world again in technology, medicine, science, agriculture, etc.

Third I think the community should care enough for All us AA to plan for the leave for whomever want to Go I think we need to point several Pointees over the Monies account to prepare for All Families whom wanting to leave This is us putting into the Pot to Accumulate and Secure Housing for each Families, I think every way possible we need to fund this to where we are able to build a Complex of Housing this is where AA are crowd funding ( what Nipsey Hussle ) we’re talking about, we have to be our brothers Keepers and make this Happen I think this can be done ,if we all work together but if not you can work this in your own families , to acquire housing and to build a business for continuous Monetary support to ourselves and Economical Support for the Continent we’re choosing , this is just my opinion for some direction

    I'm curious as to why Sierra Leone is not number 1? They are the only country with a concrete program which has a instant path to citizenship via dna. Most of the other countries mentioned seemed to only grant citizenship to famous diaspora or make you wait years and years before they give you citizenship.
    Instant citizenship should be the standard as African Americans are simply reclaiming their African status which was lost due to slave trade. At it is now, most African Americans have to go through the regular naturalization process just like any other foreigners with the exception of Sierra Leone as I mentioned above

      More countries will be offering Foreigners of African descent citizenship, as a specialised category. Nigeria just finalised and introduced it but these programs must be well funded to avoid making it a bad experience for applicants. All Nigerian High Commissions globally for example will need to have staff and resources to ensure smooth process and adequate funds must be designated. Some countries are investing the resources and they do it gradually so you see in Ghana a certain number of citizenships were given to diaspora during the’ year of return program’ . . I feel it’s better to give additional support not just citizenship like tax concessions and or land discounts to make it successful. Rather than just open the doors and leave ppl to struggle

    Of course, they should. But what I would like to see is just a single page online with a few questions the African diaspora would have to answer upon arrival at the port of entry to the African country of their choice, doing away with costly visas in all the African countries. They would then be instructed in how to go about adjusting to the culture and learning the language of their chosen African country, following which they would become citizens automatically without having to submit yet another application. I think that they have a RIGHT to return and reclaim their heritage taken away from their African ancestors against their will centuries ago.

    • @tvs9978
      @tvs9978 Год назад +3

      I think there needs to be DNA tracing. You should not have the right to choose a land you have no historical connection to just because you feel entitled to it. One also has to determine if the returnee's African ancestors were tyrants and were removed from the land in order to free some group from their tyrannical oppression or because they committed a serious crime such as murder in which case there should be some atonement on your part before you're allowed to return

    • @apolokaggwa6521
      @apolokaggwa6521 Год назад +3

      @@tvs9978 Yes, you are right, but we are dealing with the 21st century and not centuries ago, when their ancestors were forcibly removed for one reason or another and sent into slavery against their will. One may have traced one's ancestry to an African tribe by means of DNA, which is well and good, but many of the African diaspora may trace their ancestry to several African tribes. So, I don't see any reason why one should not be free to choose which African country among them. Of course, citizenship has its duties and responsibilities, and so the African diaspora should be aware of that, to avoid being disappointed when they decide to return and reclaim their heritage.

    • @tvs9978
      @tvs9978 Год назад +2

      @@apolokaggwa6521 The first point is moot because even the DNA of Africans on the continent would show linkages to many different tribes across a region so on that point it would mean someone in Cote-D'iIvoire for example with linkages to tribes in Togo, Benin and Nigeria because of intermarriages, the local/internal slave trade and migration, would have the right to claim Beninois or Nigerian citizenship as well based on their DNA. We all have multilayers of DNA not just diasporans. The concept that Africans only come from one tribe or country is largely a myth.
      Secondly, if they are claiming a right to citizenship based on an ancestor's citizenship in a kingdom (not a country) centuries ago, then what happened centuries ago is still relevant . If their ancestor was sold into slavery in lieu of a condemnation to death because they had committed a crime,, that crime therefore meant they had forfeited their right to citizenship under the laws of the land at the time and a descendant would not therefore have any rights to inherit citizenship centuries later. Likewise if their ancestors were removed because they were oppressive and were raiding other tribes and those other tribes revolted, they should not have the right to claim citizenship centuries later unless they make restitution in the same way that they are now claiming they need to be compensated. They should not be rewarded for the oppression of their ancestors.these are all pertinent issues that need to be discussed and addressed in a committee to determine any laws or compensatory packages going forward

    • @apolokaggwa6521
      @apolokaggwa6521 Год назад +2

      @@tvs9978 I think I get your point, but now it is a matter of law as to whether the descendants of such people, who had been sent into slavery as a punishment for any crime they may have committed, should be held responsible for events that happened centuries ago and for which their ancestors had paid a very heavy price. Personally, I think not, but again it will depend on what policy each African country chooses to follow regarding the issue you have raised.

For example, many Black people in America have an overwhelming degree of ancestral connection to ethnic groups in what is now Nigeria. My ancestry is both Fulani and Yoruba from there. However the odds of Nigeria giving me citizenship because of that is very unlikely.

We who come from ameriKKKa are the most financially prosperous Black people whose GDP is higher than every Afrikan nation, euro nation combined. The African continent and the current countries absolutely would be wise to develop a process to expedite the return and settlement of those who love what Africa stands for, it's values, it's stands for rights and freedoms that are quickly deteriorating in the west. Establishing the criteria the African countries desire to reinforce ought to be part of attracting those that uphold them, particularly those of African descent but not exclusionary because it is the heart and mind of the individuals desiring to make this continent their home that matters most for the continents rise to prominence. Welcoming us truly and wholy with open arms and hearts, those of us who truly desire the prosperity to come to this continent will also bring our capital, our skills and our networks that will absolutely enrich each country we will begin to call home. After all, the Bible calls for His children to come home. I see and preach that this prophesy is begining to be realized. We all originated from this continent once, we all have our roots here if we go far enough back and we need to understand that skin colour tells us very little about who we are.

You obviously have a romanticized view of “rights, and freedoms”, in Africa, or, you’re just engaging in rhetoric against “the west”. You prove at least some of the later, by demonstrating hate against LGBTQ+ humans, and using the Bible, to suggest the legitimacy/justification of your hate! What’s ironic, is that the amount of Africans nations, use the very methods of colonizers, to continue to subjugate, much in the same ways that colonizers used the Bible, to colonize them. The lack of rights, and protections for females, the severe degree of corruption, cronyism, and class, are major issues. I used to be naive about the continent of Africa, and that it would potentially be a completely welcoming place, for those of us in the diaspora. I’m no longer naive. This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be offered citizenship, or that the nations that stole us away, shouldn’t be responsible for supporting us in making that happen, but rather speaks to the many problems that exist, when AfAms, visit the African continent, let alone, relocate there.

    This is such a double-edged sword. On one hand I completely understand the intent of the video, but on the other hand, I question the authenticity of the African countries offering the dual citizenship. The only people that will be able to afford this type of stuff have to make a pretty good living to say the least, and you can see the up-playing of Black American celebrities. These are the people that can help to bring money to their country so of course they're going to want to bring them in. It's like how the US mainly brings in immigrants with good socio-economic backgrounds. I'd feel like this were more authentic if there were programs to aid people of any economic background to visit and learn about their roots. I acknowledge I haven't looked for such programs so if they exist in plenty and are easily accessible then I'd take back this comment, but I just don't see that to be the case. Lastly, let's not forget that not all slaves were taken. Some slaves were sold off by African leaders. So some of us Black Americans with ancestors that were slaves were sold off as slaves by our own kind, most likely because our ancestors at that point were low on the social totem pole. I recognize there's a lot more to this but I'm trying to avoid an essay lol

      I had the same idea as you. I came up with a name, registered the domain, and wrote a business plan for a grassroots-funded nonprofit organization to help AA move to Africa, and to serve as the umbrella organization for like-minded groups, in other countries our enslaved African ancestors were taken to, to come under for solidarity and to work together. I've just been biding time.

    I think more African countries should grant Diasporas citizenship. But I do think that African countries should be selective. Diasporas particularly American Africans have to understand that they will need to be self-reliant, and patient in the cultural adjustments and leave any entitled dispositions in American.

    Many Americans want to relocate but don't know how to start or who to talk to, so I have been talking to my people not only about each country but also about Real Estate and jobs! Moving to Africa is scary but exciting to most of us (I also plan to retire there🙂!)
    How come you didn't do Esst and South Africa? Places like Tanzania and Zanzibar, Kenya, Cape Town, and Seychelles Islands? Can you make a video on some of those places also, please🙂🤷🏾‍♀️? Thanks!
    Also, I agree that Africa should make special efforts to help the people in America that want to return to Africa! Especially if you have done your DNA. Like I'm from the Egbo Tribes of Nigeria, and it sounds like I wouldn't be able to get my citizenship there so there but they really need to allow those of us that can prove our heritage, at least like the other countries that use the DNA tests!
    But, if not at least it would allow many to at least come back home to our Motherland🤔!?

    The Africa Union should take on this issue and make it a requirement by all East, West, and Southern African countries to grant automatic citizenship to Africa Americans, Caribbeans, and other black persons of African descent, based on their one country of choice. It should be made easy and seamless. Africa owes that much to Africans whose ancestors were forced into slavery.

    • @jcjohnson628
      @jcjohnson628 Год назад +2

      @@bella-qz6ls It should be automatic because it's part of Africa's restitution to African Americans, Caribbeans, and other Africans with an ancestry of the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade. Some ancient Africans also played a role in selling Africans to Western and Arab Slave Traders and Slave Owners. It should be automatic for them because they didn't willingly give up their citizenships, they were forced into slavery and carried away from their various African countries WITHOUT their consent.

However I believed that there's not enough Countries involved , from 54 countries only an Handful ? This proves that the colonizers are still in controlled . Also I am mortifying that they are claiming they are the Beacon of justice and fairness around the world . But there s one fact no people or country as ever became liberated by debating ,there as to be a Revolution.. Check the Histories outside of the African Continent.
