Something I like about this season is Love opening a bakery. In season 2, it was said that Love only bakes when she's stressed. The bakery is Love's form of coping with her stressful marriage life.
Gotta be honest… I became a big Cary and sherry fan near the end of the season
same, and that was the biggest plot twist of the season lmao ! I never thought I would root for these two but their emotional moment in the box genuinely made me tear up
it was really amazing to me how they pulled that off! I knew for sure Sherry was gonna catch a fade!...LOL I became a fan of the duo, too!

The fact that they had to turn Love into a literal psycho to make Joe seem even kind of normal or less evil says a lot. All of everything that went wrong was Joes fault, love just made every situation worse.
The moment that cemented Joe being a better person than Love was when Joe saved Theo's life despite know the affair between Theo and Love. Joe also would've never done what Love did to Gil.
Joe is a horrible person, but Love didn't just make things worse. She's flat out much worse than Joe.

@@tb1235 How? The producers made it clear that love is supposed to exactly mirror Joe. If you swapped their positions it wouldn’t change anything.

So Joe wanted love, found love but then became obsessed with a neighbor and then wants another woman the librarian. Joe gets upsets about everything Love does but contributes to her craziness too. I liked Joe in the first one, he worked my nerves in the second but now…I see him differently. A man who confuses obsession with love and can easily leave a person once they make one mistake that he himself makes continually.
Pretty much. I think he explained that he thought women should have a pureness to them, they shouldn't do certain things. However he's free to do things that he condemns them for (murder, cheats, etc.) What a weirdo.

never hated love tbh. both her and joe are hypocrites but i suppose thts just the irony, i'm so glad they let more ppl live this season haha i am happy that theo is alive and well along with cary and sherry even tho i did not like the couple at first.
Same. I'm glad that the outcome for the community was better overall. I don't like the way that Love was killed and Joe gets to continue gallavanting like a self-righteous douchebag. Love was not even close to innocent, but I did feel sad for her. She was fighting so many emotions and, although I don't hurt people, I can relate to battling who I want to be and the storm of dark emotions that threaten to overtake me.
@@theN4ever Same and find it kinda worrying that not more fans of the show realize that the only justification for Joe's actions are the ones he gives us. Hes an unreliable narrator and people watching the show believe him when he tries to spin him killing someone as noble.

Nearly every episode, I went "wtf love!?" Lol! Binged the show in a day. It was great! I enjoyed all the characters lol

I found it brilliant that Cary was perceived to be shallow but the surprising love for his wife showed his depth, while Joe was perceived to be deep when he's actually shallow jumping from woman to woman after his fantasy of them is flawed. Joe really is the only one still incapable of loving in this season….just infatuation.
I gobbled up this new season! I love how this season explored how patterns are almost inescapable and how early trauma contributes to our dating/mating habits... so often that 'ONE' is just a concept and that finding a 'soul mate' is a misnomer. if you don't love yourself... when you meet someone that's just like you? you're going to naturally reject that person, it's just too painful of a reflection.

I feel like I’m one of the only people waiting for Joe and Love to get arrested and served with life terms in prison for their horrific crimes. This is one of those series I can’t stop hate-watching.

That is the eerie part of this all. They appeared normal at all cost meanwhile people are being held captive in the basement.

Theos relationship with Love really disturbed me, im glad they didnt get a happy ending together. That being said I didn’t really like anyone this season besides Matthew, Dante, his husband and the librarian

Same. The suicide note that Joe wrote for her was disgusting. He wanted to make sure she looked vindictive and petty at the end, like she killed herself out of spite. It was extremely cruel. And what the fuck was up with the toe in the pie? I have always hated Joe, as we should, but after this season I am extra disgusted.

Joe’s actually not that deep of a person, and not as great at reading people as he thinks. We learn that Natalie only wanted to bang him, Matthew Engler loved his wife but couldn’t express it, Gil was innocent, Cary and Sherry had a strong relationship. And thank goodness Marienne is a smart woman. She survived by running away from Joe after knowing he’s a p.o.s cheater, unlike Beck and Love who ran towards him.
This was great. I didn't feel like committing to watching the actual show since the new Succession season is coming out Sunday.

I know Love was a psycho, but I’m gonna miss seeing her.. I wanted her gone and with her now gone, I got abit sad because she’s grown on me even tho she was evil.
She had the same insecurities all new moms deal with. That made her relatable until she handled her conflicts with murders
Yeah, Victoria did a fantastic job with the Love character. Too bad this is the end of the road for her. I’m sure we’ll have some hallucination of her next season.

They even addressed race in the series, like how marienette lost custody of her child because of her prick ex husband, and how dante and marienette explain to joe that when a white woman goes missing their case is prioritized whilst minorities are pushed aside.

s3 was good but made me HATE Love. overall 10/10 just like the other seasons!!
Joes love died for love when he find out she was just as crazy as him but even a but more crazy he wants someone normal to love like season 1 girl
He wants control, with love his obsessive hobby becomes difficult cause she'll kill anyone he likes. He wants a vulnerable girl not someone who can be in control.

I don't understand all the negative reviews about this season 3. It's at least as good as the other two. The setting, the characters developments and the plot twists are just on point.
I wish love had listened to the librarian and left Joe that second and just ran away with Theo ugh
But love is just as dangerous and would have killed Theo

Right! But then he always moves somewhere new where people aren’t familiar with him. And people are oblivious! They don’t think to pay attention to that stuff. You’d think the police or fbi would eventually notice. We’ll see what happens in the next season!
They do. The cop delilah was seeing suspected he killed henderson. And delilah and beck died after they found out he was a murderer. And candace a literal survivor was blown off by the cops

Season three disappointed; season one was the best by far. This season was a mess and Joe’s new obsession, the librarian, just didn’t work for me. Also, it seems like after season one the producers/writers have attempted to “rehabilitate” Joe and put him in scenarios where he( and the audience) can justify his immoral actions. Consequently, this has caused Joe to lose his creepy and dark persona, which has detracted from the series. Finally, the family drama really started to become boring and Joe wanting to get rid of Love because of who she is ( serial killer) when he is the same thing was really hypocritical.
No because heavy on that last part… one day shes shaming Love the next hes pushing someone off a balcony
I’m pretty sure this season is trying to shine a light on Joe’s hypocrisy. He’s not supposed to be a likable character he’s a bad person and though this show doesn’t have the balls to actually put him in jail he’s never gonna get what he wants. And I feel you on the obsession thing most of his obsessions are boring lol

I enjoyed this season for the most part until the wrap up and wiping the slate clean. Joe defaulting back to season 1 Joe is a step back and threatens to be same old over foreword progress. They did Love dirty too. The twist in season two that she had a dark side like Joe was a welcome one. She also came off as a much smarter one of the two as well. I look foreword to seeing how they would handle being so extreme for each other and how it would evolve. Instead Joe completely loses interest and Love's dark side went pants-on-head stupid. Also with Joe faking his death he fucks over Ellie (girl he is supporting via money from season 2) yet again.
Really the season was going great until Joe decided to focus on Mirian romantically and that was the straw which broke the back. If I could make a change it would be Joe looking for romance and abandoning his family right on the heels of his breakthrough. He should have instead obsessed to have the perfect friends to surround his (im)perfect family. Season ends with misunderstandings leding to murder and our murder happy family moving somewhere else to find their perfect circle of friends.
I don't see how that messes up his financial support of Ellie... I think he'll still send her money

To Live, or Not to Live, That Is the Question
“To be, or not to be, that is the question,” mused Prince Hamlet in the so-called “nunnery scene” of William Shakespeare’s play Hamlet. Every year, around the world, some 800,000 people answer this question negatively and take their own lives. Even worse, suicide is one of the leading causes of death among young people. Why do people, especially young ones, take their own lives? Is it possible to strengthen their desire to live?
The authors of the Talmud wrote, “For two and a half years, the House of Shammai and the House of Hillel disputed. One side said, ‘It is better for man not to be born than to be born,’ and the other side said, ‘It is better for man to be born than not to be born.’ They concluded, ‘It is better for man not to be born than to be born, but now that he is born, let him look into his actions’” (Eruvin 13b). Indeed, if an alien were to land on Earth and look at us, it would probably say, “The pathetic humans bump into each other, ridicule and humiliate one another, and do everything they can to ruin each other’s lives. No wonder they are so depressed. Why did nature create such miserable beings?”
Suicide is the extreme consequence of a series of problems that afflict people to the point where they decide to end it all. But even before these problems become too much to handle, they make us ask about the meaning of life. After all, if life is only about survival through ordeals, then it is indeed better not to be born than to be born.
The thing is that when we begin to ask questions about life, or as the sages wrote, “look into our actions,” we begin to grow. Pain leads to spiritual development that lifts us to realms we would not have dreamed existed, and we would not have searched for them were we not forced by pain.
The key to these new realms lies in fostering positive connections among people, in emerging from the mindset of alienation and narcissism we have so devoutly nurtured until now, to find that when we sympathize with others, we gain rather than lose. We win new perspectives and new ideas, new wisdom and knowledge, and new friends. By changing our attitude to others, we change our world.
Moreover, by choosing who we bond with, we shape and reshape our world with every new acquaintance. In this way, no world is too harsh to live in, since we can always change the people we connect to, and in so doing, change our world. Also, there is no end to the insights and knowledge we can gain since there are always more connections to make than we can establish in our lifetime.
And best of all, when we connect with other people, we attune ourselves to our surrounding reality, which is already connected and would have worked in perfect harmony if we, humans, did not disrupt it. The more we develop positive connections, which aim to support and nurture rather than depress and oppress one another, the more we expand our perception of reality. We find that the reality we have known until now was only a “corridor” to a deeper and more expansive perception.
If we want people not to take their own lives, we must give them a reason to live. When people understand what life is for, they will have a purpose to go through life’s trials and tribulations. As Nietzsche wrote, “He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.”
Therefore, our task today is to reshape our connections in order to reshape our world. The world reflects our attitude toward others. If we jointly transform our attitude toward others from abusive and aggressive to considerate and caring, the lives of all of us will change, as well, from a losing battle to a smooth and pleasant ride. It is really up to us.
