    Saving to watch later, will catch up when I get back in from a spot of cliff diving, I was going to base jump the majestic building but apparently it’s a northerly.

    Excellent Mike, truly excellent. Did my share of laughing too. Am I seeing a stand-up comedy tour in your future? I'll play the section again a few times where you say "aluminum" - I'm about to get the pronunciation figgered out. Being originally from East Tennessee English is the only foreign language I ever studied. You are being a great help!

    Great summary! I bought the Action 2, it was a bargain for 450EUR instead of 519EUR for the Front Screen Combo and 4 days used only ;-). But unfortunately the heat issue is still available either after the firmware update. But now you can switch into Temperature Shut Down "High" mode in Europe. Since two days I made many recording tests and my video will be available tomorrow. The maximum is 4K 30fps without heat shut down, really disappointing. If you switch to 4K 60fps, approx. 12min recording time before shut down. Also with 2.7K max 30fps without heat shutdown. With environmental temperature of 21°C.

      Wait, sorry did DJI finally allow UK/EU users to be in high mode temperature now?

    Another great one Mike. Personally I am actually regretting picking up the ACTION 2, over the original and I am now diving the net looking for a OSMO ACTION. The Action 2 does seem some what fragile to me especially as I am out hitting the trails on the MTB with the Giant Fathom 2 mountain bike and using the Quad Lock Action Camera/Light Mount on the bars it's just hard to get a clear field of view with out the cables on the bars getting in the way, I am thinking that a vented helmet strap mount might be my best choice for that.. camera but I don't know the Action 2 just isn't getting as much use as it should to be honest.

      @GetBusyLiving  2 года назад +1

      Hmm that's interesting mate - I'm not sure the Osmo Action will solve that for you, with a similar field of view. You might ned to mount it higher, or as you say, try a helmet mount?

    • @geekindakitchen
      @geekindakitchen 2 года назад

      @@GetBusyLiving The original action has the lens off set which would ensure that it's centre mass on the mount and there the cables wouldn't be in it's field of view.
      I think a helmet mount will solve my issues with the issues with the Action 2 and mounting issues however at the end of the day the fragile state of the Action 2 if gumnuts or something flicked up while it was mount high I would be concerned.
      I think the ACTION 2is great but I just need to work with mounting it better in all honesty and then I will be set lol.
      Merry Christmas!

    does your Osmo action 1 overheat?

  • @tonyzecchinelli
    @tonyzecchinelli 2 года назад

    just today I have put my Osmo action 1 on steady camera stick paid 60 euro so with the inside osmo action stabilization like rock steady plus this steady camera external machine I paid 60 euro so the Osmo action 1 becomes perfect and I really don't need the action 2 that it is so expensive and too small and I can't change the battery with universal one so I really don't need the action 2 and I wonder why they changed the shape that I don't like at all.

      Fair enough mate, horses for courses I guess. Yes the Osmo 1 is still a great camera for many many applications that the Action 2 isn't. I will be continuing to use mine for many things for sure! Thanks for watching, and for taking the time to comment! 🙏👍
