content creators should not be treated all the same, they are all individuals. clearly, these policies are anti-youtube, because youtube was supposed to inspire individualism, and creativity. the ones who should get sued are the the ones who are not good for youtube. i am not the one who requires help. you are the one who requires help if they want to confront the problems of our society as a whole. it is better to try to reform the "terms of service". if you were talking about the "content creators" making ""children channels"", and you wanted them to be sued, that's good. they're not really creative and don't really deserve to be so popular. but, of course, every content creator is different. also, swearing should be allowed. swearing is not an adult thing, it is a thing that people who are teenagers do. so swearing SHOULD be allowed on youtube. if you disagree with this, and still think that content creators should get sued for this, i will continue to genuinely believe that you are evil. thank you

Cursing or talking about adult things over Minecraft videos for instance is still considered adult content even though Minecraft is an E rated game and is popular amongst kids) then you get less targeted ads. As a platform, Google is at fault in the FTC's eyes, not you. You don't control the ads that come to your channel.
@@templariclegion2826 yes, but content creators are personally going to be fined, up to $43,000 PER VIDEO that fails to comply with the FTC. that means millions of dollars in fines for cooking channels, art channels, animation channels, gaming channels, whether those channels explicitly say that their target audience is adults or not. it doesn't matter what you label your channel as, you're screwed either way.
sure, a megacorporation like Google could probably afford it (I personally doubt that honestly), but do you think a monetized content creator running a budget studio in their basement can afford that?
ONE fine of the max amount is more than what most small monetized channels make in the span of a year, and a lot of people create videos for a living.
