@@TheLinuxCast Depends on how you use syncthing. For instance if you have syncthing share particular dot files, by configuring your environment a bit differently than the defaults, it becomes almost the same thing. Then you can use local tools and not proprietary stuff. Sure there are a lot of people who like bells and whistles and the feel they are at the top. Me though... I always recommend people use standard tools.
