I started a new job back in march. In these few months I've applied a lot from your channel to my daily routine, and now I'm one of the go-to-guys when coworkers need tips or tricks in Google Suite. This has also helped me settle in my new role and prove myself useful. All this to say: thank you for what you do and Keep (😁) it up! Also: nice video, Keep (😁) them coming!
I tried searching many videos regarding keep note and found amazing video from your side , kindly make more videos on keep note Mobile and PC version. Btw your content is amazing I literally consuming over a year now,thanks for making this amazing piece ❤.
There is the Category Tabs for Google Keep plugin as well. It is pretty minimal as far as its inclusion, but it does allow you to label the colors for specific categories. That's for those of us who either have 8,000 categories of things we just can't let go or have a terrible time remembering what a color smells like. Very interesting stuff indeed! I don't use the Google ecosphere too much these days as we are bound to Microsoft, but I will certainly try to use it whenever I don't have my hand written journal handy.
Thanks for the tips . Never knew some of these features existed. The video presentation was very concise and clear. This is probably the first video I subscribed to without the presenter telling me to do so.
One thing I use keep. After a photo session I create a wetransfer link with these photos and put it on keep app. Opening keep in PC I download them and start working on them 😊
Love the energy and obvious passion for GKeep - just wish Google's dev team were equally energised...😔 Thanks for some great tips - but does the GKeep Chrome Extension still live - as I thought it had been killed off a while back..?
Great tips! I regularly use Keep, but I still learned so much :o that image to text feature could be really good for separating your personal gallery from more work-related stuff
Found atleast 3-4 tips that I did not know earlier. However, I feel that Google is not paying attention to the Keep app. Android version has text formatting feature but the same is not available on Desktop. Earlier reminders on Keep used to be shown on Google Calendar but this feature has been removed. We cannot combine paragraph and checklist in the same note. Similarly the option to add a web link 🔗 is missing.
These are great tips although I've not been able to use all of them. I have personal and work accounts. There are times like this video I want to go through when next to a computer. So I am then to tasks but it gets added to my personal list in my personal account. Is there a way to add to another list in my personal account which is shared with work and same there other way
@JeffSu sorry my bad. I was talking about tasks. Notes I would like to save them in separate email accounts. Currently I've labelled them. Can I sync labels to another account?
As usual you rock! But Google still doesn't.. I really want to use all the Google products especially keep. I was a very early adapter but Evernote and Notion just flew past Google. Plus I find a lot of the Google products work best when you sit behind a computer which I don't. Great tips and great video!
some people ask me to explore Obsidian when I share them this video. Whats your opinion on Obsidian vs Keep. I tried install Obsidian, it looks like Notion, and im not into learning whole new Discord system just for taking notes. So I think Google Keep is stil the way to go.
👐🏻newbie to google keep, thanks for sharing! Recently i am trying to centralize everything in notion..as i used to be spending so much time on trying apps that people recommended...wondering when do you use notion and google keep?
This is off topic. But it seems like the RUclips algorithm has been playing footsies with you. The view count has been on a roller coaster as of late. I know that must be frustrating for you. Keep doing what you do best which is to put out great content.
Never would I think someone would make such a recent video about an app that probably is 10+ years and by Google... the Majority on YT nowadays promote apps that most often actually consider your privacy.
It looks to be a very good video Jeff, but it's very hard to follow the tips for non-American natives. You talk too fast. Why the hurry? If needed you could split it in two videos in order to make it easier to understand the rich tips. Rgds
Some tips: 1- Adjust the speed of the video. Some people just naturally speak fast. Try .75x speed. 2- Copy/paste the video transcript into Chat GPT and ask it to give you a detailed breakdown of the video (maybe in your native language?). Sometimes my brain doesn't digest the info entirely when I only hear it. Reading can help immensely. Good luck!

Exactly what I use. I've had it for a couple of years now and it makes categorising notes rather easy
The double equals for header..... So simple and so great 😂

I thought I was the only person who used Google keep 😅
Nah, there are two of us
Same here - I use G-keep on a daily.

Finally new ways to use this app.
I know right
Hey, Jeff! Brazilian fan here. How do you pin tabs no Chrome (Mac)???
Right click > Pin
@@JeffSu When I close the browser, I lose the tabs. BTW: I'm new to Mac.
How does your Notion LifeOS combine with Keep? What and how do you move notes between them?
Keep = Work
Notion = Personal
Thanks a lot, great tips!
No problem 😁
Favorite youtuber
Yea me too :)
Is there a keyboard shortcut for quickly applying a label go a specific note or multiple notes?
Select multiple notes

You mean apart from sharing the note directly with your work email/

Obisidian has a HUGE learning curve haha
👐🏻newbie to google keep, thanks for sharing! Recently i am trying to centralize everything in notion..as i used to be spending so much time on trying apps that people recommended...wondering when do you use notion and google keep?
Keep to capture, Notion to organize
They just need to add some basic text formatting and hyperlink support, then it'd be great
Fair point!
Oh Keep has a desktop app too? Didn't know.
Well technically yes
Love all the tips! Too bad, my company wants to use Microsoft 🤨

Keep up the good work, I didn't know Google keep is so good if you know how to use it ❤
Trueee
Keep is my default disorganized note taking app. I don't quite understand why do I ~keep (pun intended) using it.
It's hard to leave isn't it
@JeffSu it is!
What about people that use an Android computer instead? Looks like this video is all about the web app and a keyboard
The last two tips are for mobile users :)
@JeffSu oh, I see now, thanks for pointing that out
