@@HYPERMAN__ She technically shouldnt even have cryo or any element for that matter, because she never even was in the Tevyat, unless they pull some unkown god accident bullshit with her,but i pray not
I can see Skirk been the new element but doing NO elemental damage, somewhat like EULA... Big physical hit damage numbers cuz she must be a DPS, right? By doing this they can hype us to one, obvious and most awaited, new element without need to introduce a bunch of new mechanics and reactions yet.
@@Venjoy_zzz Technically, no. There are already capabilities to remove an element from Traveler for a time being, he even gets this gray background in character menu. So nothing really stops them from making a character without an element, just make Mualani level nuke dps and most will be satisfied with it.
Slight correction. Snezhnaya is not getting delayed. We are going to get all the smaller regions within Snezhnaya, like Nod Krai, first before the main city/castle area. It’s to build suspense for the final proper nation in Teyvat. It would be like us getting all the tribes in Natlan first and the coliseum and seeing the pyro archon last.
Slight correction, we really dont know yet. We dont know enough about Nod-Krai to even know if they see themselves as part of Snezhnaya We dont know how long it'll take em to do all the side region stuff. We really dont know anything otger then Nod-Krai is the next place we are going
@thatrandomguyontheinternet2477 and I even heard that they won't be making anymore male characters, and if they do then goodbye hoyo I'm boycotting you for real this time,
Abyss and Starlight Abyss: the power of darkness, erosion, and death. The power to unravel fate. Starlight: the power of light, creation, and life. The power to weave fate.
Something like the element of the corrosion* effect of the rifthounds, though not as a debuff but a whole new element based on that and perhaps some additions like breaking space(?) similar to what skirk did when she appeared
If Hoyo makes it real, then it can't be a Vision, because that would imply quantum and imaginary Archons that the Primordial One manages, as well as sovereigns. I'm not sure if those as elements exist in Teyvat. Perhaps they could be limited to outlanders-like the Imaginary for the Traveler, allowing resonance with Teyvat elements. As for Quantum, it shouldn't trigger any reactions because it is not from Teyvat, but instead, characters could apply debuffs similar to the corrosion effect from Riftwolves.
They could make Imaginary belong to the Prinordial One but the reason it didn't exist before is because it is reserved for the warriors/servants in Celestia As for Quantum they could make a god that is similar to IX in HSR, aka a God that shouldn't exist yet it does exist and only gives their "vision" and element to those who witness it, ie the abyss twin could make use of that element
@@edgieststalker8141 ohh I like this, after Snezhnaya when we're on the Celestia part of the story they can introduce Imaginary and spam us with characters for it just like Sumeru and Dendro, and as per the reaction, maybe it can empower the other elements by charging the elemental gauge unit 🤯. The Abyss on the other hand is the complete opposite where it absorbs the gauge unit of other elements (aside from Imaginary where it clears the Abyss application) and empowers itself similar to ZZZ anomaly buildup and disorder
@@Hezkun Idk about you but I have a friend who has played since launch. He has a C0R1 Eula that can hit 50k with NA and 200k with the delayed attack from her burst. I know it's no Neuvillette damage, but for a long time that was damage I could only dream of, and he still has never struggled in any content outside Abyss. I even got the chance to use her myself in this months Theater and she's still just as strong as when he uses her. Just because she isn't as OP as newer characters doesn't mean she still isn't strong in her own right.
Quantum should be reverse swirl where it absorbs elements off of enemies in aoe and has a scaling reaction based on how many units are absorbed. Imaginary can be anti geo where it has reactions with every element
That actually sounds pretty cool and interesing. Unlike what I'd honestly expect them to do: just make these two react only with one another in some kinda annihilation reaction (like pneuma and ousia), but it deals aoe true dmg. You know, something super basic and non-creative.
The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles and The Traveler’s Original Powers may actually be the Imaginary Element. Another thing to note is that Genshin Impact’s Universe is on the same branch of the Imaginary Tree as Honkai Impact 3rd’s Universe. Also I believe the Primordial form of the Quantum Element is called the Sea of Quanta. Just like how the Primordial form of the Imaginary Element is the Imaginary Tree. P.S: The “Akasha Tree” you refer to is actually Irminsul/The Ley Lines and the Akasha is connected to Irminsul through a technicality since it was created by the first Dendro Archon. One thing to note is that it is powered by the Dendro Gnosis.
I sort of accepted the stupld cryo Skirk being real as they won't add a new element in like 5.7 but it's so lame. She explicitly looks at the tayvat elements as "lesser powers" so her using any of them will feal bad.
Regardless that I also want Skirk to have a new element to match the lore, I don't see how anyone would believe this is possible in the middle of a full version. The introduction of new elements is extremely unlikely to begin with considering the upheaval it will have on the meta and game balance. Something this big is even less likely to arrive before Khaenri'ah. For new elements to become available in the middle of a nation before Khaenri'ah is a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a percent chance of happening. I know content creation is all about regular posting to keep up with the algorithm but this is just delusional. Not gonna happen. Sorry, they're gonna do Skirk dirty, best to just accept reality and move on. I'm also not saying Quantum is not going to appear in Genshin. But I think it's more likely it appears as an additional layer to a character's element, like the Pneuma/Ousia mechanic, an interpretation of Quantum in Genshin. It could be something that slightly alters the way the character's element behaves. Childe's stance switching could point the way to Quantum being a way of switching an element's "modes".
But visions don't make sense for characters who literally use other worldly powers in front of us and who consider archons as weak(characters who themselves are archon level/greater than archon level) just don't add skirk until you can give her something related to abyss🥲 atleast make her abyssal cryo, without vision, kind of acts like cryo with additional steps, but no way is anybody accepting a normal vision for these characters, hell nah pls hoyo🥲
There is nothing about the 5.3 livestream teaser image that states those characters will all come out in the same order they're shown, or that they'll all come before 6.0 at all. There are 7 characters and only 5 more patch versions. There's a high chance that they might save Skirk for the launch of 6.0 and add new elements there. There's also a chance that Skirk will be elementless, since we have elementless Traveler it's possible to create a pure physical character and they could do that to her too. Of course it's all speculation but telling a content creator who's job literally relies of speculation to not make the video because it doesn't matter and "we all know they're gonna do it wrong" just isn't fair. We know nothing about what Hoyo has planned for the character. The only info we get early is from leakers, who may I remind you are the same people who said we would get 42 day banners for Mavuika and Citlali and we did not. So not everything they say is 100% true. Speculation is perfectly fine and shouldn't be discouraged.
Ngl, personally I feel as though Skirk's main mechanic would have smth to do with True Damage, considering it's an archetype that's pretty much been ignored outside of the occasional abyss blessing or event mechanic
@@maru-sen9792 pulling from my limited knowledge of other games, "true damage" would completely ignore defensive stats. So, enemy Def and Res wouldn't be accounted for. this would make the character inflicting the damage's stats significantly more important. there's no xilonen res shred or lisa def reduction, probably no furina DMG Bonus either.
Adding such reactions such as true damage has a high possibility of damaging the meta too much, while it would certainly be fun, for such an element to be applicable in ANY game it needs massive amounts of fine tuning if meta is anywhere near a concern. If it only exists to bypass defenses, it would need to be only usable agains enemies who have a (say, arbitrarily) +60% resistance to all elements at the very least, so no other element will pierce through, and posses no rez shred bonuses. It would result in a character that plainly does a flat amount of damage relative to the meta/enemy scaling for the game to not be bound to it, that would likely a very weird enemy scaling that would likely make end-game enemies low-hp near impenetrable resistance enemies, meanwhile be, also relative to meta, useless against other enemies due to their incompatible difficulty due to high hp pools. True damage is a fun gimmick but due to the existence of res shredders like zhongli or xilonen, but its pretty much a useless halfway point, i struggle to imagine how it could enter the game and be more inclusive than even the natlan blessing state.
Another interesting idea that I had would be to add Quantum and Imaginary as a secondary element to each character. Every character until now would be Imaginary and their reactions would work just like they always did, and Quantum characters will also cause the same reactions with other Quantum characters, but they'll cause completly different reactions if crossed with each other. I think it would be interesting if not only Abyss characters would have Quantum, but also Delusion users and any other characters that got elemental powers from somewhere other than Celestia.
Quantum (from what little I know of Honkai lore) comes from the Sea of Quanta, which seems associated with the Primordial Sea--the quantum black-hole symbol appears in the fight with the space whale, and Skirk says something implying that Genshin's "Sea" is just one of many. Irminsul also matches the Imaginary Tree, and the two have a sort of yin-yang relationship that fits with the Abyss opposing Teyvat. So much of the groundwork is already there. How they'll fit that into gameplay is hard to say, though. They kinda already used yellow and purple elements...
If we go along the same lines of dark and light following the -o ending (pyr*o*, electr*o*, *hydr*o*, anem*o*, cry*o*, ge*o*, dendr*o*) I have the suggestion that quantum would be called "umbro" and imaginary would be called "photo". Umbro is another term for "umbra" which means "shadow". Photo on the other hand is prefix for "light". But at the same time, I feel like we would only get one with two of them combined in a lore sense.
Abyssal and Celestial makes way more sense as new elements, and yes, the game totally needs that. it would be almost as a new game. maybe they are gonna save that for Genshin 2.
So, if what I've heard is correct; all 7 Elements combine to make Light (kind of like how all colors combine to make White Light). Which seems to be the goal for us to get the other Elements. Abyssal seems to be the opposite. (Or something like that.) Question is; what would they do with these Elements once we get towards the end? The Traveler likely will get Light as that seems to be the goal. but, what about Darkness? Maybe we get it from Dain?
But it would be super lame. They would either make the attacks actually use the element which would make it basicly meaningless or they would leave it looking like abyss stuff while it aplied cryo or some thing and aplied those reactions. Like, imagine geting hit by a purple quantum sign ball and it triggers freeze...
@bencegergohocz5988 I mean they could make a new mechanic with quantum/ imaginary like if u use a quantum mechanic it slowing down enemies movement and if you hit them again with imaginary they amplify the dmg regardless the elements, or applying damage over time, or reset the cooldown or heals the party or creating new stuff to react with it. There's a ton of a possibility regardless of the elements
I think that 2 new elements for only a few characters would be more interesting, it would make those characters more unique and, as you guys mentioned before, more otherworldly
Point to note btw, the silhouttes we got from Hoyo during the Special Program (Skirk included) were said to be coming in the next 6 months if I remember correctly, so we may not have to wait that long for confirmation! I expect that we get Skirk near the end of the Nod-Krai patch cycle we're supposedly getting, so the dataminers are sure to do their thing regarding her element relatively soon!
Quantum and Imaginary are opposition to each other but it's never about morality opposition, more of natural "elemental" opposition where Quantum represents flexible but destabilizer/dissolver aspect of Honkaiverse, while Imaginary represents rigid/ruling but stabilizer/fortifier aspect of Honkaiverse Honkai Impact already have collaboration with Genshin Impact since 2021 via Captainverse as the esoteric links between the games (even Evangelion and Honkai Star Rail references and events' collabs also going through Captainverse, from Bronie, Ai Chan and Captain of Hyperion himself referenced in Bronie and Robin HSR trailers, to Asuka returning to her Evangelion universe via Hyperion's multiversal hyper-spatial links) Mihoyo does multiverse travelling since late 2018 via Captain's adventures with lots of 4th wall breaks and all, before Aeon Aha shenanigans even started
The Quantum and Imaginary elements were foreshadowed since the first Dainslief quest. We already seen Abyssal power many times but its the imaginary element that is a mystery slowly reveald throughout years.
The twin's names also relate to that idea. "According to ancient and medieval science, aether, also known as the fifth element or quintessence, is the material that fills the region of the universe beyond the terrestrial sphere." That description would also fit to Quantum or what Skirk was doing during the Archon quest. Well and the name "Lumine" obviously relates to light.
Ever since Enkanomiya, I've always wanted a "light" element. Switching from the light and dark was always fun to me. They could introduce it by making traveler the first light character after you get they're powers or whatever back. For the reactions, if there was also a dark element, have it so you can use light on dark, and dark on light.
Happy New Year Juice, hope you're doing well! Now, just going to immediately shoot down Imaginary and Quantum. I'm with sam.628, pneuma and ousia already exist. What I'd prefer Hoyo do is do something for Geo, do something for Physical Damage instead. As the Abyss itself ALSO uses the elements, so Skirk being Cryo is perfectly fine. Dainsleif though, it'd be cool if he had no element at all and thus, they'd need to do something for Physical Damage instead. Think of it like Pokemon's Normal type. I also think new reactions in general would be fun, as well as new ways to use the existing elements. Adding more elements when the existing stuff isn't polished/refined at all, is just a recipe for disaster honestly. The way Genshin's meta works is already boring, more elements won't change that.
I thought abyssal would be an awesome element and celestial would be cool too. I so deeply think in some way Skirk would be a physical attacker in someway though. Like be abyssal in element but she is strong in physical attacks, but to combat crit she would have true dmg based off her atk percentage so she would hit very hard with a very high atk rate. If not physical she could just have a enhanced state where she have a black hole following her around and every attack she does it becomes more and more intense until it reaches max to then let out a nuclear amount of dmg. It would take a bit to build up but her enhanced states normal attacks would be good and infused with Abyssal energy. Idk about celestial powers but I feel like it would be the opposite. I think it would be self buffing dps that give large amounts of crit to themselves and are very quick to do dmg. Or are supportive in a way like no other. Like giving normal atk speed to a dps celestial who scales off it or off field coordinated attacks where they come on without you picking them.
Hi. I'm a lore nerd. My ongoing theory is that the abyss is just how people in Teyvat call the Sea of Quanta. I believe that Teyvat fell off of the Imaginary Tree and is now floating in the Sea of Quanta, which naturally seeks to destroy things from the Imaginary Tree. The Primordial One and the Heavenly Principles were strong enough to shield the planet from the Sea of Quanta. So i myself was thinking those two elements totally have a place in Genshin but perhaps they would just call it how people in teyvat would call it "Abyssal" and "Celestial". It's not really good or evil. I think a good insight into that question is the Melusine who are abyssal creatures living peacefully with humans. To the Melusine, abyssal things seem beautiful and nice because that is where they are from. However, they fear anything that can destroy the abyss, like the traveler has demonstrated they can.
im so happy im not the only one thinking about this kind of stuff. from the moment i saw skirk i knew quantum would be the perfect element for her. And some sort of abyssal element for the game is a no brainer
In recent lore we know that Phlogiston (or whatever its called again i forgor) is the oldest type of energy of Teyvat, the light element, where all the other 7 elements come from (similar to the sunglight becoming the rainbow when it hits a prism). If they wanted to go with the route of one power coming from Celestia, then Phlogiston would have to be using it, and then ofc Quantum can be just the Abyssal element, where its a power from beyond this world
I really hope they add new elements in the new region. Mainly because Mavuika told us they use a "different kind of elemental energy" 🤔 But they can always force some weird narrative to "non Celestia aligned" characters such as "oh they wield elemental power through some external device but not through visions"
I am kind of inclined to think that Phlostigen is the imaginary elements manifestation in Genshin and that the elements as we know them are "imaginary aligned". I sometimes toy with the idea that same spectrum exists for quantum; delusions perhaps? Equal but opposite (and not super compatible with the average imaginary aligned species, hence why it takes a vision holder or someone who could hold one, to repel the nasty side effects). As Childe leaned more to his Foul Legacy, his vision was revoked. The Lord of the Night starts to talk about the imaginary realm and the realm of man....before deciding that's too complicated for the time allotted and just breaking phlostigen down into the source of the rainbow of elements as it is known on Teyvat. I think someone with mastery over the master element (Alice maybe for Imaginary and possibly the Tsaritsa for Quantum?) would have access to all the elements thus aligned - like Traveler. There are a lot of things that make me feel this way.... but it is just a theory.
There is no need for big changes or new elements. They only need to focus on the physical dmg and introduce new reactions and mechanics for the long neglected physical, so that on every character we can have the option to play physical or magical(elemental). That is not very revolutionary like quantum and will open a whole new playstyle for every unit.
i love the idea of adding new elements like these to the game, it would be hard to come up with so many new reactions but definitely doable (or they could keep it without reactions except to each other, there's no cryo-dendro reaction for example) the problem as i see it though is that when the elements first come out (with the current release schedule), there'll have to be at least one of each so 2 characters but definitely not more than that for the first patch. if both of them are five stars, getting all the reactions possible will be incredibly hard. The idea makes sense, but until genshin releases enough characters to make these reactions viable, they'll be in a really strange spot
I wanted Skirk to be Abyssal but I like the ice idea now, you know, diamond or crystal animations, that would be so cool! Or an altered elements like Frost Miyabi from ZZZ instead of Ice, a convergant sub element
Oh man. I was one of those Keqing physical mains. My first standard banner weapon was Aquila Favonia. I still made it work. 36 stars abyss. When Raiden came out. She helped. But man. It was pure struggle back then. Dendro made the game so much fun. Please give us more elements
To be honest, i wouldnt be surprised if she were like a version of an element an unique one, like miyabi (instead of ice she uses frost) and she would have like elemental reactions, unique to her, but i hope something like abyssal energy or something would be amazing, because seriously, imagine we’re in khanrie’ah and then the characters released from it being cryo, dendro, hydro etc, it would be weird lore-wise, personally im sving for skirk cuz of her beautiful design, but if she were like quantum or abyssal that would make me want to c6 her.. hopefully🥲
We need a damage increasing reaction for Geo. Geo+ Imaginary could be called Avalanch. Give it a similar multiplier to Geo that Melt or Vaporize does and suddenly Albedo with his EM buff on burst becomes a valuable team member. Geo + Quantum could be called Reverberate that increases damage multipliers like Aggravate. That way frequency of attacks could be a high value asset. One could be for big hit damage, the other could be to buff high frequency attackers.
Happy new year Juice! You always manage to entertain while having such a unique angle on things. Keep the great content coming and I will keep watching!
Another thing that comes to mind is that the 7 Elements represent the 7 colors. But, what would that mean if we were to get Light and Darkness as Elements? I hear all Elements combine to get Light. And Abyssal is separate from all of them. What would the lore implications be for them to add Light and Darkness?
A new element would make sense and I hope it's fun! Like, imagine they go, here's Skirk and Dainsleif, they're physical. Uninstall. They have been seen using otherworldly powers, so let's see that in a playable character. Juice, thank you for all your hard work making these videos, I have obviously enjoyed them and I'm always happy to hear you talk about stuff. I hope 2025 is an amazing year for you!
If there's gonna be a quantum element, I feel like it's gonna be called something like Umbro (shadow). I'm scratching my head about what an imaginary equivalent could be called though.
It has been 2+ Years since a new Type has been released since Dendro! We NEED Abyss Type, we already have a good idea of some of the Reactions that are possible with Abyss+Elements like Abyss+Dendro being Withering and whatever is gonna do Corrosion!
That being said I have a sinking feeling that when Hoyoverse gives us The MC’s Original Power that they will not be as strong as we would Hope they would be given how that is supposed to be what they are most proficient with…😞. They’re gonna do this Just to make The Shades of the Primordial One look good.
I feel like Skirk having one of the main 7 elements will be disappointing, but I also think it's way too soon for Hoyo to introduce whatever new (possibly Abyssal) element Dain will eventually have, right in the middle of 5.x That kind of thing seems like something to introduce in 7.0 or something (like Dendro was introduced in 3.0) I think Hoyo shot themselves in the foot by teasing Skirk's possible release so soon.
I feel like if Dain were to not have his own element, he'd probably get a vision from a Dragon Sovereign, Neuvillette or any future playable dragon. Since they both would despise archons and Celestia, having aligned goals.
I watched a video comparing Sunday and Robin, from HSR. One point was contrasting elements: Sunday is Imaginary while Robin is Physical. … Quantum and Imaginary are weak to Physical, or at least to Superconduct.
I think it would be pretty cool if Welt disappeared or had to leave to take care of something and. You don’t see him in HSR for awhile but he then appears in Genshin with a quest that is timed with his limited banner. Once it’s done he returns to HSR
In the latest patch they even made a whole purpose introducing us to Phlogist, and how it's pure energy, seperated just like light into seven fractions, seven elements. Very godly, very heavenly principle. And honestly, the oposite of light, DARKNESS/VOID/ABYSSAL or whatever we are going to call it, has been aluded and symbolized through out characters, historylines, lore, world-building, color pallet, visuals and aesthetic ever since the beggining... Dainsleif, Skirk, King Deshert, Forbidden knowledge, abyss... Man, there MUST be at least an 8th element. Otherwise this game will always feel incomplete.
Furina was sorta based off of Seele if her (leaked) concept art is anything to go by, now her final design keeps very little of that original idea but you can still some of it if you squint real hard, so yeah 95% original I'd say
What if Skirk had a random elemental vision but with a quantum alignment and whatever element she uses functions completely different from a typical vision of that element?
I completely agree with all said in this video, i was very hyped when Skirk appeared in the story like that but hoyo is running multiple games right now, it´s not Sumeru anymore and adding new elements would require an investment they might not be willing to assume, for long time players Skirk being cryo would be extremely disappointing but other players will just take it.
Just based on the elements of Quantum & Imaginary, I can’t really see reactions other than Quantum x Imaginary = Boom. So I don’t think it would even buff most other elements. I’m pretty sure it is heavily implied that Quantum & Imaginary are just the collective of all the elements, just organized in different ways.
I feel like Imaginary and Quantum will only get introduced after Schneznaya. Once We're finally dealing with Celestia and Abyss Order. Those two factions literally represent Imaginary (Celestia) and Quantum(Abyss Order).
Skirk unfortunately is from Teyvat(based on what she said). So having a Vision is not out of place for her. She might have other power... Just like Arlecchino(Curse Flame/ delusion) and Childe (Foul Legacy/ Delusion) we will not have access to those powers probably until later.
Love the video, and all you do. Well to everyone, I am wishing you a Fantastic start to a Brand new Year, and with it I hope all your dreams and goals take a step into reality.
Just to expand on lore - quantum is akin to the sea of chaos. Its the space that separates worlds from each other. Imaginary is what holds worlds together from dissolving into to sea of Quanta. Its not good vs evil its more chaos vs order.
In terms of Quantum being evil and Imaginary being good, its a little complicated... I wouldn't really think of them as one being good and one being evil, as they are more forces of nature and the universe, just like any other element would be. They just so happen to form the basis of the Honkai Universe. Imaginary is existence - the tree that holds the different universes, and Quantum is nothingness - an Ocean beneath the tree that assimilates existence into it. They balance each other out in a way. The elements just do what they do and it depends on how someone wields it. Pyro can be both destructive and a source of warmth, Hydro can give life but also wash it away etc.
2:07 She looks like a Honkai Impact 3rd character, please don't think that HSR invented that Artstyle 11:35 All I will say is don't ask your friends just go to the wiki and read the lore a bit. HI3rd players sometimes don't remember the lore themselves 😂 11:49 The Sea of Quanta is the infinite number of bubble worlds in a form similar to Sea Foam, they are all universes that have no basis for existing basically every Fanfiction, scraped ideas of the writing team etc etc 😂, The Imaginary Tree grows larger by absorbing the energy from the Sea of Quanta and transforming that energy to make canonical worlds with actual starts and ends, every leaf on the Imaginary Tree is a world. There are times when the leaf can fall off into the sea of Quanta destroying that universe. 14:26 No problems since in Honkai Impact 3rd Nagazora chapter it already showed that Genshin is very much connected to Honkai Impact 3rd 😂. Otto Apocalypse saw a view of Teyvat and Dvalin
I think something like Astro, Chrono, Helio or Ergo would fit perfectly into both the games lore, ganmeplay and even the naming scheme. Skirk could very well be a Chrono/Astro character and dainsleif could be Astro. Astro especially since all that stuff that Mona's teacher and Klee's mom have been doing is pretty much completely related to that and has nothing to do with hydro at all.
I will say that it wouldn't make much sense for us to use an "evil" Element. We basically are a Legendary Hero. Even Dain could be seen as a Tragic Hero. Perhaps we could find a way to purify the "evil" while keeping the essence of the Element intact. Then, the Fatui could find a way to steal some of this power which could explain new Fatui enemy types. Because if we were to get new Elements; we'd need new enemies that use these Elements. As well as these Elements for puzzles, additional playable characters (it's a "Gacha" game after all), and a Region that focuses on these Elements (Khanrei'ah makes sense).
By separate region to visit, is Nod Krai replacing the Mare Jivari as Season 5’s random mystery region? Or that NK is the region of interest for Season 6 (bumping full Snezhnaya to Season 7)?
The narwhal should have quantum attacks currently it has physical placeholders and we know that traveler has originally a light element or imaginary we can see it in TCG too the omni element And even in the skirk scene we can clearly see the quantum element symbol appear If we go from early current leaks skirk is rumored to be cryo we have seen many times weird stuff like hydro arle or geo kirara or whatever element that was so I highly doubt that skirk would be cryo it could be simple as just it being an internal placeholder for her Edit: 13:40 holy hell that sounds cursed af
First finish developing the current elements then we can talk about the rest. Hydro and Electro are complete I give them that. Cryo and Geo are pretty much dead elements by design at the moment (freeze immunity, construct destruction and both have no reaction with Dendro) Dendro is unfinished. (Burning still sucks and wasn't buffed, Cryo, Anemo and Geo don't react, Burgeon and Bloom are kinda there but functionally just worse versions of Nilou or Hyperbloom) Pyro is okay but desperately needs playable off field DPS. (Cyro does too btw) Anemo is...fine I guess but it really needs to be able to Swirl Dendro at the very least as well as any further new elements they ever add otherwise it'll just become obsolete. It also suffers from enemies immune to grouping and beyond that, has no identity (ok, it can copy other elements, does that count?) Edit : I guess you liked Dendro huh, I hated it because it was so unfinished and had no useful reactions with most of my roster...and still doesn't for the most part. Keqing and some of the hydros won but the Pyros, Anemos and Cryos suffered. You can guess which category had more units I like to play. I got a stronger Keqing but at what price? And she is still useless whenever Dendro isn't one of the 3 elements in the Theater.
Skirk is getting a regular vision because if the game wants to introduce a new element it should have its own reigon too so probably after shneznaya or genshin pt2 just like sumeru where they introduced a new element with a new reigon
dainslefs powers are more blue than purple , he doesnt rlly fit into neither of the 2 imo there would be around 4 or 5 new elements depending on if the "light" element would be same as the imaginary or not its clear with imaginary quantum abyss leyline/Neutral and ofc the optional/unconfirmed light element also neuvilette cant grant visions , celestia does it. same as archons dont give them out , it would make 0 sense for just another person with the hydro authority to be able to grant them all of the sudden , nothing changes in his situation aside from power , the authority is all the same + authority over hydro doesnt mean authority over metals nor catalysts for the elements (catalyst as in conduit not as the weapon type)
dainsleif definitely, he’s been shown using a dark blue power in We Will Be Reunited however Skirk.. i don’t know, she’s definitely gonna do something interesting, but i doubt they’d release a new element for her in 5.7(or .8)
The only way I’d accept Skirk using a vision for regular elements would be if it was stolen or artificial. (otherwise I’d skip for the culinary themed characters also in the teaser) A different element would be better for sure, though.

@@HYPERMAN__ She technically shouldnt even have cryo or any element for that matter, because she never even was in the Tevyat, unless they pull some unkown god accident bullshit with her,but i pray not
@@anexusxd3961 Aloy is not from Teyvat too and yet she's cryo, maybe Tsaritsa is cooking something up by taking a liking to other outlanders
Genshin makes a new element
Buffs Hydro instead of the elements that need it.
maybe neuvilette is threatening them
Or it buffs Cryo, maybe that's why their all in jail
which elements do?
hydro does , its dps are eh aside from neuvilette and mualani
tho ig geo could get a buff
Monkeys paw curles: she wont get a vision, she will be purely physical.
The thing is, Even Physical Dps characters need an element, no one is visionless
@@Venjoy_zzz shut up bruh let him dream😭
@@Venjoy_zzz Technically, no. There are already capabilities to remove an element from Traveler for a time being, he even gets this gray background in character menu. So nothing really stops them from making a character without an element, just make Mualani level nuke dps and most will be satisfied with it.
Nah, there will be a new element but it won't have reactions so it's just Physical 2.0. Kinda like Geo but you don't even get a shield.
Can't happen but if it does it would dlbe cool
Slight correction.
Snezhnaya is not getting delayed.
We are going to get all the smaller regions within Snezhnaya, like Nod Krai, first before the main city/castle area. It’s to build suspense for the final proper nation in Teyvat.
It would be like us getting all the tribes in Natlan first and the coliseum and seeing the pyro archon last.
Slight correction, we really dont know yet. We dont know enough about Nod-Krai to even know if they see themselves as part of Snezhnaya
We dont know how long it'll take em to do all the side region stuff. We really dont know anything otger then Nod-Krai is the next place we are going
They have to call it Quanto and Imaginario though. You know, to keep the ending in -o theme.
this made me laugh gg
imaginario sounds like a cereal 😭
@Juice-chan I want more Imaginari-Os.
It could be called Universo if they wanted to create something new not related to their other games
@katisk5322 How about Abismo?
if it's have culus, it will be "quantoculus" & "imaginarioculus"
Tall male 5-stars are already imaginary
Alhaitham, Zhongli, ayato, itto, baizhu, neuvillette, wriothesley, kaveh, kaeya, diluc,
@ashleyandanime4815 Those are the existing ones from pre-2024. No new arrivals on the whole of 2024
@@flying-shipwe only got one male this year
@thatrandomguyontheinternet2477 and I even heard that they won't be making anymore male characters, and if they do then goodbye hoyo I'm boycotting you for real this time,
Having playable muscular male character like the NPC one is imaginary
Abyss and Starlight
Abyss: the power of darkness, erosion, and death. The power to unravel fate.
Starlight: the power of light, creation, and life. The power to weave fate.
Now this is something i can agree
*Insert card meme* Me to hoyo: JUST DO IT!!!
Something like the element of the corrosion* effect of the rifthounds, though not as a debuff but a whole new element based on that and perhaps some additions like breaking space(?) similar to what skirk did when she appeared
Since it'd be destructive i guess something like destroying life and space/matter should do
Quantum and imaginary
If Hoyo makes it real, then it can't be a Vision, because that would imply quantum and imaginary Archons that the Primordial One manages, as well as sovereigns. I'm not sure if those as elements exist in Teyvat. Perhaps they could be limited to outlanders-like the Imaginary for the Traveler, allowing resonance with Teyvat elements. As for Quantum, it shouldn't trigger any reactions because it is not from Teyvat, but instead, characters could apply debuffs similar to the corrosion effect from Riftwolves.
They could make Imaginary belong to the Prinordial One but the reason it didn't exist before is because it is reserved for the warriors/servants in Celestia
As for Quantum they could make a god that is similar to IX in HSR, aka a God that shouldn't exist yet it does exist and only gives their "vision" and element to those who witness it, ie the abyss twin could make use of that element
Meanwhile physical has been completely abandoned and we still get those goblets that go straight to fodder
Except for Eula. Not that very many people have her since she's in Cryo jail.
@@Seraphim_1172 bro eula does as much dps as just turning the game off and playing smth else, you're cooked if you use her
@@Hezkun Idk about you but I have a friend who has played since launch.
She could have something like "Abyssal" Ice. It can operate with its own special version of Cryo elemental reactions kinda like Miyabi in ZZZ.
Honestly, that would be pretty lame. It would feel very gimmicky. It would also be a letdown.
@@joesunday199 nah it'd very cool
Quantum should be reverse swirl where it absorbs elements off of enemies in aoe and has a scaling reaction based on how many units are absorbed. Imaginary can be anti geo where it has reactions with every element
That actually sounds pretty cool and interesing.
Unlike what I'd honestly expect them to do: just make these two react only with one another in some kinda annihilation reaction (like pneuma and ousia), but it deals aoe true dmg. You know, something super basic and non-creative.
It honestly makes sense too, cuz that's their actual properties
This isn't bad. But, I hope they don't call them "Quantum" or "Imaginary".
@joesunday199 I'm think Nucleo for quantum and Proto for imaginary (since all the other elements end in O)
@@Opti-Miser I think Tenebro or Erebo works better.
Edit: Photo is good for Light.
@@saifshaikh5102its simple, just give her ability to use cryo without a vision... I dont see a need for new elements. How about we fix freeze first
Ngl, personally I feel as though Skirk's main mechanic would have smth to do with True Damage, considering it's an archetype that's pretty much been ignored outside of the occasional abyss blessing or event mechanic
Physical with extra steps.
Isn't that just physical?
(Or something like that.)
Question is; what would they do with these Elements once we get towards the end? The Traveler likely will get Light as that seems to be the goal. but, what about Darkness? Maybe we get it from Dain?
quantum and imaginary already exist: imaginary: pnuema | quantum: ousia
Those aren't really powers though, they're just a gimmick for Fontaine. Like how Phlogiston is a Natlan gimmick.
Well now that they confirmed that Nod Krai has some weird power that people use maybe Skirk will be the one to introduce it?
It hasn't to be element, could be a mechanic like bond of life
But it would be super lame.
I think that 2 new elements for only a few characters would be more interesting, it would make those characters more unique and, as you guys mentioned before, more otherworldly
no thanks, stop ruining characters with garbage like bond of life and nightsoul
@ they aren’t garbage though, it spice things up
Because Genshin is a reaction based combat, would be so good to get new elements with new reaction,we really need that
On one hand, new element = new toy.
On the other hand, new element = probably another annoying new Tenebrous Papilla-like boss in the abyss.
Probably skirk will be in 5.7
I knew she would make this video!

GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH? NO WAY I LOVE GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES!
yeah, you know me well then :D i thought this topic warranted its own video
Happy new year 🥳@Juice-chan
Since the other elements are greek prefixes, it’s more than likely genshin’s light and dark elements would be scoto(quantum) and photo(imaginary)
Bc of what we know about Nod-Krai I dont think its impossible.... but pretty unlikely
COMPLETELY AGREE!!!! Happy new year btw 🥳
tbf quantum and imaginary really are just dark and light under different names.
Quantum and Imaginary are opposition to each other but it's never about morality opposition, more of natural "elemental" opposition where Quantum represents flexible but destabilizer/dissolver aspect of Honkaiverse, while Imaginary represents rigid/ruling but stabilizer/fortifier aspect of Honkaiverse
Honkai Impact already have collaboration with Genshin Impact since 2021 via Captainverse as the esoteric links between the games (even Evangelion and Honkai Star Rail references and events' collabs also going through Captainverse, from Bronie, Ai Chan and Captain of Hyperion himself referenced in Bronie and Robin HSR trailers, to Asuka returning to her Evangelion universe via Hyperion's multiversal hyper-spatial links)
Mihoyo does multiverse travelling since late 2018 via Captain's adventures with lots of 4th wall breaks and all, before Aeon Aha shenanigans even started
The Quantum and Imaginary elements were foreshadowed since the first Dainslief quest. We already seen Abyssal power many times but its the imaginary element that is a mystery slowly reveald throughout years.
I really hope they don't call them "Quantum" or Imaginary". Those name don't fit Genshin.
We really need a new element. About time
The twin's names also relate to that idea.
Maybe something like corrupted versions of the elements e.g dark cryo light cryo
Warning leaks ⚠️⚠️⚠️
the leaks say skirk comes out in 5.7 and she is unfortunately cryo
thanks for all the content you've been posting throughout the year!
Bro said "coming up soon" as if she's coming out next patch
Happy New Year Juice!!! We're also grateful you're here sharing your thoughts
Mainly because Mavuika told us they use a "different kind of elemental energy" 🤔
But they can always force some weird narrative to "non Celestia aligned" characters such as "oh they wield elemental power through some external device but not through visions"
we love you juice ❤
happy new year!
I agree adding Quantum and Imaginary will bring new life to the game and new regions to explore going to the Abyss and Celestia.
Side note : Great choice for background music. Persona 5 Royal is my favourite and this song will forever remain my go to comfort background noise!
You get a like for it!
Neuvillette can give out Visions if he wants, but he’s mainly letting whoever has been doing it with Egeria and Focalors to continue with him.
There is no need for big changes or new elements. They only need to focus on the physical dmg and introduce new reactions and mechanics for the long neglected physical, so that on every character we can have the option to play physical or magical(elemental). That is not very revolutionary like quantum and will open a whole new playstyle for every unit.
i love the idea of adding new elements like these to the game, it would be hard to come up with so many new reactions but definitely doable (or they could keep it without reactions except to each other, there's no cryo-dendro reaction for example)
the problem as i see it though is that when the elements first come out (with the current release schedule), there'll have to be at least one of each so 2 characters but definitely not more than that for the first patch. if both of them are five stars, getting all the reactions possible will be incredibly hard.
She got leaked to be cryo
Oh man. I was one of those Keqing physical mains. My first standard banner weapon was Aquila Favonia. I still made it work. 36 stars abyss. When Raiden came out. She helped. But man. It was pure struggle back then. Dendro made the game so much fun. Please give us more elements
To be honest, i wouldnt be surprised if she were like a version of an element an unique one, like miyabi (instead of ice she uses frost) and she would have like elemental reactions, unique to her, but i hope something like abyssal energy or something would be amazing, because seriously, imagine we’re in khanrie’ah and then the characters released from it being cryo, dendro, hydro etc, it would be weird lore-wise, personally im sving for skirk cuz of her beautiful design, but if she were like quantum or abyssal that would make me want to c6 her.. hopefully🥲
Sorry but those elements will definitely come, but only after Snezhnaya is completed. Earlier than that doesn’t make sense to me
We need a damage increasing reaction for Geo.
I feel like Skirk having one of the main 7 elements will be disappointing, but I also think it's way too soon for Hoyo to introduce whatever new (possibly Abyssal) element Dain will eventually have, right in the middle of 5.x
That kind of thing seems like something to introduce in 7.0 or something (like Dendro was introduced in 3.0)
I think Hoyo shot themselves in the foot by teasing Skirk's possible release so soon.
I feel like if Dain were to not have his own element, he'd probably get a vision from a Dragon Sovereign, Neuvillette or any future playable dragon. Since they both would despise archons and Celestia, having aligned goals.
i would hate it if skirk is cryo it would kill all the hype i built up for myself
Literally bruh
I watched a video comparing Sunday and Robin, from HSR. One point was contrasting elements: Sunday is Imaginary while Robin is Physical.
…
Quantum and Imaginary are weak to Physical, or at least to Superconduct.
I’ve been thinking about it ever since I saw the black hole that skirk had
I completely agree with all said in this video, i was very hyped when Skirk appeared in the story like that but hoyo is running multiple games right now, it´s not Sumeru anymore and adding new elements would require an investment they might not be willing to assume, for long time players Skirk being cryo would be extremely disappointing but other players will just take it.
oh and happy new year Juice
This year was so skibidi for your channel! Happy New years juice and everyone!😊😊😊
Happy new year Juice
What dendro did to electro, quantum could do to cryo
just a simple thought, but I think it would be amazing
Love the video, and all you do. Well to everyone, I am wishing you a Fantastic start to a Brand new Year, and with it I hope all your dreams and goals take a step into reality.
Just to expand on lore - quantum is akin to the sea of chaos. Its the space that separates worlds from each other. Imaginary is what holds worlds together from dissolving into to sea of Quanta. Its not good vs evil its more chaos vs order.
More visions mean more units players have to buy to compete in abysss. No thanks.
Oh
oh...
OH...
Mavuika DID mention people in Nod-Krai have access to a mysterious power even older than the elements. Could it be...?
2:07 She looks like a Honkai Impact 3rd character, please don't think that HSR invented that Artstyle
11:35 All I will say is don't ask your friends just go to the wiki and read the lore a bit. HI3rd players sometimes don't remember the lore themselves 😂
11:49 The Sea of Quanta is the infinite number of bubble worlds in a form similar to Sea Foam, they are all universes that have no basis for existing basically every Fanfiction, scraped ideas of the writing team etc etc 😂, The Imaginary Tree grows larger by absorbing the energy from the Sea of Quanta and transforming that energy to make canonical worlds with actual starts and ends, every leaf on the Imaginary Tree is a world.
I'm watching this on New year's eve and I'm just gonna say... I am really excited to see if any of your predictions come true lol
She could have an element, empowered by the Abyss energy, like a "dark Vision" or something like that. Dain would have Dark Anemo. Happy New Year!
happy new year!!! agree, i really want her to have some sort of ‘evil’ type element
By separate region to visit, is Nod Krai replacing the Mare Jivari as Season 5’s random mystery region? Or that NK is the region of interest for Season 6 (bumping full Snezhnaya to Season 7)?
Givantamax and Z-moves were cool like you had giant kaiju pokemon and pokemon with final smashes
As by far the best part of Genshin is elemental reactions, more elements are indeed the best strategy
The narwhal should have quantum attacks currently it has physical placeholders and we know that traveler has originally a light element or imaginary we can see it in TCG too the omni element
And even in the skirk scene we can clearly see the quantum element symbol appear
If we go from early current leaks skirk is rumored to be cryo we have seen many times weird stuff like hydro arle or geo kirara or whatever element that was so I highly doubt that skirk would be cryo it could be simple as just it being an internal placeholder for her
Edit: 13:40 holy hell that sounds cursed af
First finish developing the current elements then we can talk about the rest.
Hydro and Electro are complete I give them that.
Cryo and Geo are pretty much dead elements by design at the moment (freeze immunity, construct destruction and both have no reaction with Dendro)
Dendro is unfinished. (Burning still sucks and wasn't buffed, Cryo, Anemo and Geo don't react, Burgeon and Bloom are kinda there but functionally just worse versions of Nilou or Hyperbloom)
Pyro is okay but desperately needs playable off field DPS. (Cyro does too btw)
Anemo is...fine I guess but it really needs to be able to Swirl Dendro at the very least as well as any further new elements they ever add otherwise it'll just become obsolete. It also suffers from enemies immune to grouping and beyond that, has no identity (ok, it can copy other elements, does that count?)
Edit : I guess you liked Dendro huh, I hated it because it was so unfinished and had no useful reactions with most of my roster...and still doesn't for the most part. Keqing and some of the hydros won but the Pyros, Anemos and Cryos suffered. You can guess which category had more units I like to play. I got a stronger Keqing but at what price? And she is still useless whenever Dendro isn't one of the 3 elements in the Theater.
Skirk is getting a regular vision because if the game wants to introduce a new element it should have its own reigon too so probably after shneznaya or genshin pt2 just like sumeru where they introduced a new element with a new reigon
dainslefs powers are more blue than purple , he doesnt rlly fit into neither of the 2
imo there would be around 4 or 5 new elements depending on if the "light" element would be same as the imaginary or not
its clear with
imaginary
quantum
abyss
leyline/Neutral
and ofc the optional/unconfirmed light element
also neuvilette cant grant visions , celestia does it. same as archons dont give them out , it would make 0 sense for just another person with the hydro authority to be able to grant them all of the sudden , nothing changes in his situation aside from power , the authority is all the same + authority over hydro doesnt mean authority over metals nor catalysts for the elements (catalyst as in conduit not as the weapon type)
dainsleif definitely, he’s been shown using a dark blue power in We Will Be Reunited
however Skirk.. i don’t know, she’s definitely gonna do something interesting, but i doubt they’d release a new element for her in 5.7(or .8)
The only way I’d accept Skirk using a vision for regular elements would be if it was stolen or artificial. (otherwise I’d skip for the culinary themed characters also in the teaser)
A different element would be better for sure, though.
