i grinded her all day because I had a bunch of point restorers (5 hours), and ended up maxing her and her weapon first day (except her passive skills, but they're near max), and the pause menu told me to go touch grass.
today while playing the game i got a message at the very top saying that ive benn playing for 3 hours now, and i should remember to take a break.....first time seeng this, is it some new stuff?
I was really worried when she was coming out that she would be hard to use but once I started using her I was shocked how good she felt to play, esily my favorite character next to Jinshi by a margin as far as DPS go. Shorekeeper was te character who got me to return to the game, even got her to S2.
That's curious, she looked pretty straightforward on the leaks, between the rotation, range, cc, and mobility. Maybe the flashy moves made it look like she's doing more than it is
How isnt glacio+attack% on 3 piece significantly worser than gacio + glacio because if i am just losing on 0.1%, I can farm when I do have the resources. Help is greatly appreciated. And also, would you recommend pulling on Carlottas Sig weapon or Jinhsi's which if im not mistaken is also coming out soon. I am F2P and my Jinhsi is level 80 and with helios R1 is dealing ass damage despite all echoes having crit rate+ crit damage.
About Toaqi, after Carlotta's first rotation, intro Taoqi and use her forte, then skill and echo. I personally use Belle borne on her, but dont use echo if its Heron. Then switch and do support\healer stuff and then intro Toaqi again to do here stuff again and get concerto. Its not consistent at all, or rational either, but its a way to cope with her.
There are several videos on how to improve the rotations with Taoqi, and I've been lazy to learn them 😂, but it's a similar principle of quickswapping to her, and she works really well with Verina. I imagine since a lot of players get used to going straight forward support>sub dps>main dps, she does feel clunky that way.
the 80% multiplier bonus gets applied to you when you use your ult, and can only be lost by swapping out during her ult. her forte heavy attack has nothing to do with it! :D the reason we do forte heavy before ult is because carlotta's intro and skill give her forte stacks, and using your ult gets rid of all of your forte stacks, so you'd essentially be wasting stacks if you did ult before heavy
@Juice-chan I was just confused because it says when substance is full, which is her forte bar and the enhanced heavy removes all her substance. I think your probably right and it didn't make much sense anyway as I never really used her enhanced heavy.
Character is great, I was struggling to 3 star the second middle tower floor with Jinhsi, to be fair my build is mid, tried it like 3 times, and she is missing a bis sub dps, but I cleared it around the 3rd attempt with Carlotta, having worse echoes, and lower talents.
I just came back and pulled her i have no verina or shore. Would carlotta, sanhua, baizhi work? Only other 5* i have is encore and the taoist can’t remember her name 🤦🏾♂️

idk what prydwen smoking (as always), but its not a 20% difference between sets. I build her in old one and have almost the same numbers that ppl have with new set. other resourses tells that its 5% difference and it literally feels like it. not 20% for sure
Personally, I'd rather have a stronger weapon for my main dps, you can always switch it on Tower if required. I don't see Chixia or Aalto be worth giving a copy of Last Dance, unless you hard main them. Static Mist is not that far behind for them due to how they scale. As for future Gun characters, there is no guarantee their main damage will be considered Resonance Skill, so you might be better off just pulling for their weapon, using Static Mist, or switch it when needed.

I love Jinhsi as a character and dps, but I'm liking Carlotta more. I feel she is doing more damage overall, granted Jinhsi doesn't have a proper sub dps, but my Carlotta build is very mid, and still haven't maxed her talents, so I feel you are not missing out on Jinhsi, if you go for her. I would pull her signature if you can, it is a good boost, but Static Mist should be fine, if you want to save for Jinhsi or something else.

As for her weapon, I would see more worth on pulling for Stringmaster or waiting to see what rectifiers we get after 2.0, because Rime Sprouts kind of only works for Zhezhi, while Stringmaster works on everyone. If you don't have Stringmaster, like Zhezhi, have the money to spend, and don't want to wait for Yinlin rerun because it just passed, or other characters to come out, then go for it. (From what I understand Phoebe, Zani, and Phrolova, *might* use rectifiers)

nope, it have symbol of sand clock things above the Forte bar, it means the buff active. as long as the Forte is full either you heavy atk or not it still active.
