I wouldn't use this on paint but it was instant success on my glass. Hopefully this comment is more helpful than the video!

  • @sholbura

Mix Distilled water and Vinegar 70/30 ratio. Don’t need a lot of vinegar for it. Worked on my windows and mirrors just fine. My truck is white so the spots don’t bother me. I just used a rag to apply it as I didn’t have an empty spray bottle. If you still have a few tiny spots after the first wipe, do it a second time. The reason I remember that distilled water works is because it’s also used to clean chandeliers. If you use regular water (most likely hard water from your faucet) with vinegar it won’t work. That’s why all the videos out there aren’t getting results from it. Try it out…😎

Okay now I'll hit the subscribe button, hey i thought of something...do you have to be in the shade for this to work or can the sun be out? Okay,so sorry I'm gonna hit the subscribe button now....hold up....does it work on any color of car? What if my car is silver? Okay, let me scroll back up and find that subscribe button, there it is! Oh gosh I forgot....does the engine have to be running? Cause I think that may matter don't you think? I would certainly think that is a factor in this working properly. But anyways back to hitting that subscribe button....shucks just one more thing....what if i have hard water build up on my windows and a bit of bird poop too? I mean i can't stop the birds from pooping on my car... well i guess I could if i park it in the garage...or you know i could just get a cover for it, but then I'd have to take it on and off whenever I want to drive it. Wouldn't it be cool if cars had the technology to have a built in cover? You sorta like a convertible? You push a button and bam out comes a car cover, oh buy wait what if you were driving and you accidentally hit that button? Hahahaaa you'd be in a world of hurt.....gosh what was i suppose to do after i left these questions and comments? Oh well it may come to me later.... thanks

I haven’t seen where Scott said it wasn’t ice. But it would make sense if that’s what it is as other have mentioned. If you make ice from your tap water, it’s essentially the same water as from your hose. In the same way you can remove sharpie with sharpie off of non porous surfaces, you should be able to remove the dried water deposits by rewetting them with the same water. Also, rubbing the ice on the glass would act as an abrasive to help in the removal? Sounds possible. Although I’m no scientist lol

After going crazy trying to get them off I had a used Magic eraser and tried that. It worked great and with hardly any work. Just make sure it stays wet.
