Just want you to know I watched the Winter Trans Siberian trip twice. From beginning to end. I'm in bed recovering from surgery and I find these videos so soothing, if not cozy with the snow and early mornings. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Can't wait to watch more!
I am a Public Health Physician, working During this pandemic, I couldn't spend any time at home/entertainment except your videos. Especially the opening Audio/soundtrack makes me calm and nowadays when I am in a tense mood, just come watch your video. You did and are doing amazing work. Keep it up.
What a journey it has been to follow. I cannot imagine how much planning you have done for be able to take this this trip. For me does it feel like it would be easier to go to the moon rather to do this trip. Thanks a lot for letting us be a part of this trip
Your videos with train trips through Russia and other post Soviet countries are amazing. They make me feel just like I’m travelling with you and when I can’t fall asleep, I watch these videos and zonk out real fast to the sound of train wheels and all this perfectly shot vibe of sleeping and restaurant cars, passing villages and towns. This is really incredible. Any plans to keep filming in post-Soviet countries? Thanks for your answer in advance.
What great timing! I just finished watching the previous 8 videos of this trip just in time for part 9! Really enjoyable, I've been a little fascinated with Almaty before I found your channel, so it was great to watch the whole trip!
I feel very fortunate to have watched this wonderful series. So many names became real places. For this education, I am truly grateful. Money is of course not everything in life! However, a two-hour edited version of the videos with a careful review of the captions would be a great commercial product for worldwide television. Thank you again and best wishes.
Just Watched all 9 in a Row over a couple of days and I have to say that is without a doubt one of the most detailed Trips on a Train I have ever seen Brilliant all round Excellent Footage not just of Trains but Information provided Simply Fantastic doc
Plastic bottles are useful after all! For keeping windows open and for waste valves in air conditioning systems. CIS countries have proper locomotive sounds! Great series thx!
Amazing Journey it was and it shows what travellers by plane could miss when they are in a few hours on the other side of world. I hope we can do such an amazing journey soon again when this pandemic is over.
Thank for this very long trans continental Tran trip ! It was amazing to see the different countries and people on the way. I live in Australia and probably won’t be on those trains in person !!
Your standards of presentation never slip and every journey you make is always a joy to watch;mThank you so very much. Oh, and in answer to your question, the Talgo train looks lovely and comfy, but for the actual travelling experience, I would choose the Ammendorfer DDR carriages every time.
In the Far East you have Ammendorfer carriages in many long distance trains, and in the West you have Halberstädter carriages being used by both private and national companies for both regional and sleeper services. Also, one of the most popular locomotives used in Germany today are the LEW Hennigsdorf machines, BR 143 and BR 112. It really says something about the quality of East German trains.
Viele Grüße aus Leverkusen
Great video Looking forward to discover Kazakhstan on my own one day Surprised how new the German wagon looks, like if it just came out of factory - and not before 1989
This is so interesting. It really gives you the sense of how large intercontinental Eurasia is. Some of the views remind me of Colorado and Wyoming. I wonder how similar their climate is.
An epic journey; I’ve watched all nine episodes back to back tonight. You’ve been very lucky with your timing. Will your vlogs prove to be a definitive final record of rail travel along this route?
Omg I remember those German trains, as a kid I used to catch them from Almaty to Karaganda… so sad I won’t experience the new Spanish trains due to Covid restrictions and not being able to get a visa from Australia 😥….awesome videos!! Thank you 🙏
Absolutely fantastic Trip !!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us,i wish there was a simple way of booking this trip through 1 ticket operator /Agency .....Look forward to your next trip ..take care , 🚄🚂🚆
I watched all. the parts of Germany to Kazakhsthan really enthusiastically.. It was a wonderful experience to. watch transition from European scenery to Asian.
Finally can watch the last part. Must say it toke you too long to post all the video. Trip in 2019 with last part published in 2021, definitely to long, but I like your videos
Actually I wish, you Travel india after Covid. try to aboard on premium and semi high speed trains. Make a Beautiful journey clip of India. I watched your all (Kazakhstan trip) clips.
Is this the most fascinating journey you have done? Probably..... Good job!.......I have a question for You..... Why don't You travel by train in the Western Europe? France, Italy, Spain, for Example? Ciao from Sicily....
25:50 ...QUITE SOME ACTION!... You have a terrible problem with... QUITE/QUIET... Thank you very much for all your work!... I watched all nine parts!... You must be a very strong person to survive all that!... You seem to be an expert a booking tickets and knowing most of the regulations in different countries!... Best of luck!...
The Talgos are modern, but except for the dining car, appear to be all white plastic with no style. And no windows that open. And jacob's bogies on bad tracks are not necessarily good. The old East German cars are old, dated. No AC, but have opening windows. For an overnight trip leaving in evening and arriving morning, I'd take the talgos. But for a trip that involves daytime traveling, I am not sure. The old cars are more of an adventure, and travel back in time to Soviet era. Do you know if all the Talgo-Tulpar have variable gauge bogies or only a few trainsets that do Almaty Urumqi with gear change at Chronos? BTW, surprised that the announcement tones at Almaty are the same as used by RZD in Russian train stations. I would have though that by now, the rail systems would have diverged.
You have some clout if you can get the train to stop in the middle of nowhere so you can get off to continue by pre-arranged car pickup. More power to you!

No matter what, there is always a sense of adventure coming along on your journeys . Striking how different the world was just two years ago.....
I love Ammendorf cars 💓

Nice hope to see more journey like this
Hooray, we waited)
Wonderful serie, i love your video, tks 💪
Finally........... 👏👏👍👌. I hope you will kindly make a playlist on this series.
My pick would be Talgo. However, "click-clacks" will still be noisy until KTZ upgrades to welded-rail. An outstanding production -- many thanks!

The horn sounds like and Amtrak Genesis with a Nathan Airchime K5LA horn
The Germans cars sound like they offer and smooth solid, at least compared to the banging bumpy Talgo.
Nice video. Nice experience 👍
Thank you very much for the video how much is a ticket from German to kazakistan

Which app do you use? I never could reach your tracking accuracy.
How did you get overhead shots? Drone or bridge?
4:18 What's the title of this song?

Tulpar Talgos/Chinese built cars cannot enter Russia
Coke break in the boiler room?
Now, your biggest challenge is still pending. Roam India through Indian train.
The Beginning (Performed by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra)
Get the video of little beach city
Re: the GoPro, it's probably haze.

Talgo trainsets maintainment is too expensive.
Running next to a moving train is very dangerous.
Why is Kazakhstan trashing sidetracking the Talgo trains?
Why not use the Talgo train in Russia?
What city?
russian e-visa is not available for railway border points...
it may come in 2022
@@doc7austin really?
They used the music from the Trans-Siberian Railway series at the end part
yeah; that was my series
I don't like the modern plastic-y look of train interiors. Makes me feel like I'm in a fridge.
Hola como estas?
What motive power will be in Russia? AC or DC Electric power? What place in Russia swap engines?
I believe a diesel loco(TEP-70)at the Russian border town of Lokot and then an electric loco(DC EP2K) at Barnaul for the last part to Novosibrisk.
Now the final question is, will he take the same route back? The whole thing is made up.
what do you mean with "the whole thing is made up"?
12:00 You stole the words from my mouth!
Endlich mein gott!!
You have some clout if you can get the train to stop in the middle of nowhere so you can get off to continue by pre-arranged car pickup. More power to you!
21:26 Excuse me? 😂
04:35 its not "russian pop music", its a latest-soviet low-brow pop for teenagers... Only so-called "russian chanson" is worse and more irritating.
In the West, playing "Olya and AIDS" on a public transport vehicle when you're on the job would likely get you on the news lmao.
Watching cartoons video
