I disagree. I do have the AWD version, but also the turbo engine which not only can make good use of the system when accelerating from a stop or lower speeds, but also has the power to overcome the more than 200lbs of weight it adds. In my mind if you arent getting the turbo then the lighter FWD with manual is the way to go.
@@miczap11 no its not exaggerated at all, unless you keep a car for a year or two at wich point all part of the above steel alive but not for a long term.
You are fucking exagerating got a 307 since 2007 my father gave me he always had his heavy hand on it up to 180 000km and same for me since 2 years and the gearbox is perfectly fine😂 we aint in 1980
Yes, it's pretty quiet. I own the 2.0L SkyActiv-G 122 HP and it's already more than enough. From what I've read, the 186 HP torque is the same, and it delivers the extra power in the highest RPM.
I have a 21 X (186). Very quiet. The interior is very high quality basic design, nothing to annoy you. Power/torque more than enough but you have to be an experienced manual gearbox operator to enjoy this car. People who do not like to operate and understand a cars inner workings and just want to go from A to B should buy something else
I can't speak for the exact version in this video, but I have a U.S. spec turbo hatch and find it quieter than any other non-luxury small car I've driven or taken a ride in. There is a bit of tire roar at higher speeds on certain types of tarmac, but wind and ambient noise are pretty low.
It's a natural aspiration engine, you sometimes have to increase the RPM to get the power you need. Anyway, while driving it's pretty quiet inside the car.
You made a good choice with the manual shift. It’s great in this car
Only Channel with perfect Camera position👍🏽
Went today to configure mine, gonna order it beginning of next year in manual 186 HP Takumi. So excited, you driving it looks so smooth
Lucky you. Wish I could afford it. If you can try get the optional extra airdam. It just elevates this car it really does. I'm on my third mazda now
it's even better with the AWD version. Once you've tried the AWD system, it's hard to go back.

Note ! You can not and should not rest your hand on the shifter during driving as this will help to kill your bushings, forks and sinchros
lol that’s just so completely over exaggerated

On old car maybe…. Not on the new ones
@@marksphotoperry356 you just have no idea what you’re talking about. It’s not 1981 anymore. It’s just not true.

Very good car ❤️❤️❤️❤️
if your not sitting for more then 30 seconds it’s fine. but your right yes
2 questions: Do you think it is a quiet car inside the cabin while driving ? Are you satisfied about the motor power/torque ?

@@glurp1er it is not the same torque between 122 vs 186!
@@alexxandreipopescu208 213 Nm vs 240 Nm following Mazda own website.
That's not that much of a difference.

That 2L sounds pretty big!
Is the consumption normal for this car? Do you drive a HB or FB?
Is the exhaust the sport upgrade "variant" one from the factory or a custom one made?
Nadal jest głośna jak model wcześniejszy?
i want it so bad but everything so expensive nowadays
I know right? Looks and drives amazing but it costs way too much
prices are dropping every week@@freshfishonly
Sounds very noisy. You changed the exhaust or something?
It's a natural aspiration engine, you sometimes have to increase the RPM to get the power you need.
Anyway, while driving it's pretty quiet inside the car.
How prone to rust are the new models?
The Mazda reputation for rusting is at least 30 years out of date. These days they use the same anti-rust treatments every other car company uses.
awd just comes life after 80

i thought this model only came in automatic? oh man i missed out, i got the 122hp (135 in real) version because i wanted a manual :p

its hurting your manual transmission if you leaning on it, i wouldnt buy that car from you anymore..
9.9 seconds to 100kmh is abysmal for 180hp
Only way 180hp is gettin you anywhere is if you shed every bit of luxury and technology this car has
I also find it very weird that for such a high HP, this car looks so slow :(
8,1 s from 0 to 100 km/h for skyactive x!
Low ass torque is to blame.
So ... useless video. Tnx.
