Well done Josey, it's nice to see this kind of journey documenting around Africa and see how people are doing, can you imagine these people are the back bone of the country infrastructure, at the beginning we saw small childrens and womens were breaking those stones into small pieces, then later we saw where the stone came from, wow long way to walk and very dangerous landscape. Those stones later will be the foundation of someones home or other type of buildings or road work flow, i worried for those small children's doing this kind of work, specially it worried me so much when i saw that young lady carrying small baby while working on that danger place: ruclips.net/video/aK-o6SvVhTI/видео.html i hope their life condition will get better sooner and a bright change will come to them sooner. Keep up and please Josey eat more plant based food alternative, it's healthier and more secured way of not getting diseases through the animals flesh, all the known diseases are based through the animal flesh, be careful what you eat, i jumped over the meat ball part because i eat only plants

Thank you Miss J for another incredible journey. Not sure if we got the full story on the work site but the men might be supervising and control the women and kid traffic and clearly in charge of public relations ie “she said nothing” don’t worry about it. Your guide wasn’t crazy on getting his feet wet ( I have to see my wife and kids…) but subtext “don’t want to leave you roaming around talking to these women without a chaperone” very interesting. The river itself looks like it’s drying up and wonder what all these souls will do when it finally goes. Stay safe as always xx

In this particular video i felt you somehow ignored the fact that this guy was making tremendous effort to make himself understood, like when he said “ do you have your mother ” i felt so uncomfortable that you made him repeat again snd again, I felt like YOU coming from Uganda you should have immediately understood what he meant.
There are so many similarities between all those great lakes region countries!

From this video it was very heart touching and so much that i read in the bible and now i see on this video i can comprehend so much and the reason why things were like they were it touch my heart in so many ways than one. And not only that but also to see how abuse effects us the same. OUR MEN HERE IN THE UNITED ISN'T TO MUCH NO DIFFERENT FROM THEIR MEN THERE. AND how we take so much for granted here in the united states WE IN THE UNITED STATES WASTES SO MUCH TO WHERE THESE PEOPLE HERE DON'T HAVE NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING. AND ITS THE SIMPLE BASIC THINGS THEY NEED THAT WE CAN GO AND BY AT THE STORES TO KEEP UP OUR HYGIENE TO WHERE IS PEOPLE TAKE FOR GRANTED CONSTANTLY COMPLAINING AND UNGRATEFUL START THANKING GOD FOR WHAT YOU HAVE BECAUSE TRULY YOU COULD NOT HAVE HAD WHAT YOU HAD ALWAYS REMEMBER SOMEONE IS ALWAYS DOING MUCH LESS THAN YOU. THESE PEOPLE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING AND GOD KNOWS WHY. I HAVE COMPASSION FOR THESE PEOPLE HEART FELT COMPASSION.

    I have so many questions.
    What river is this?
Why is the River so low?, looks like it used to have more water. Is there a drought? or is there a dam up river?
How do they learn English? Do they have schools?
I read someone’s comments that these rocks are for building. Why do they have children doing this Labor by hand? Can’t they get some machines?
Why are the children working like this?
How much do they get paid? Is it enough for a decent living? Is it a fair wage?
Beautiful video. The people seem very friendly.

@@muhanuzimark3189 it is and it isn’t. At first my husband and I were wondering the same silly thing, but then it became obvious that it’s for construction. Why would we initially be confused about this? Because we are idiots? Perhaps 🤔. But I think the reason we were both confused was ignorance and naïveté. We could not fathom that little children and women with babies would have to do such brutal labor for construction materials. In our country there are well enforced laws against child labor and we have had machines for a very long time used to procure building materials from quarries. It’s still very hard labor and underpaid, etc, but there are no children or babies on these sites, and they would have things like hard hats and safety equipment. Besides being cruel, it also almost seems absurd to see children break rocks for money. How can that be efficient?
