My uncle used to live in Tanzania with his wife for a few years, that was back in the days. My uncle is 72 now and we are from Finland. Very interesting videos.
Miss Josey is such an amazing lady, such a breath of fresh air. Thank God this video wasn't made by Tommy/Sabbatical, he would have gone to the slums & crazy markets to show all the poverty.

I’ve noticed in several of your videos that people are trying to take all of your money very often and you always have to negotiate the price down. You should do a video on how to not be taken for all of your money while traveling.
Great video Ms Josey !! Someday I plan to see much of Africa. Please be safe in your travels !! You are a beautiful woman with a very beautiful smile !! I look forward to your next vlog. Take care !!!!
Great videos. Really like these 'everyday life' videos: no scripting, down to earth and right in the action. I can almost smell the frying oil and black tea at the breakfast. I'm really seeing parallels between East Africa and South & Southeast Asia. Especially in terms of the food and transport. The fried bread is a breakfast staple in Malaysia, Singapore and South Asia. Tea is usually served with condensed milk. But coffee is often black with sugar. Open air restaurants like the one you ate breakfast are quite common. Lunch restaurant also very similar to what you have in Malaysia / Vietnam / Singapore or Indonesia. The transport (riding pillion and the traffic and the bus terminal) looks like Southeast Asia. But wearing a helmet like that won't do you much good in an accident. The style of buildings in Dar Es Salaam also reminds me of Malaysia or Thailand. East Africa really looks like a good place for budget travel. Please keep these videos coming!
I am from India -That type of chapati is called "Roti" in India & Indian sub continent and we also have Black tea in our breakfast...by the way, that is not fried chapati.... We call it Paratha

I spent 30 days in Zanzibar and I can say that many items are pretty expensive. Food as well, but I managed to spend 5$ for an entire day. You just need to know where to go 😉. Got a bunch of vlogs from Zanzibar as well. It was a great time
Dar es Salaam is much more affordable than Zanzibar because the island is more of a tourist attraction. Question can you spend $5 in your country for the day?
@@AfricanGooner10 Is true, Zanzibar's prices are higher than on the main land. I wonder how do the Zanzibarians survive with such prices 🤔. Their salary is very low compared with the food prices. I live in Germany and 5 $ (4.5 €) are enough to survive for a day. It is not easy because you have to be creative and stretch the money but is either you buy some junk food high in calories and you make it through the day or you cook yourself something cheap but still good. You can check my vlogs out from Zanzibar if you like 👍🏼😊

whatever the first price is cut in half or 1/3. ask them for the real price. if they don't change the price walk away. it's that easy.
