Actually whatever we have done to them was outside. I am not responsible for their emotional pain. Similarly, what they did to me is outside. They are not responsible for my emotional pain.
The outer discomfort doesn’t matter in long time but the inner discomfort kills us slowly.
Why we are not easily accepting that this could be a result of my past karma is because we feel they are responsible for my inner pain, which is not true. The moment we experiment in any situation of our life, to think rightly and be stable no matter what, we realize that they don’t create my emotions. They never have. It is easy to slip in guilt but remember we are on a spiritual path now. We are in a process of becoming aware. What happened two seconds ago is past. My karma may be wrong but i am not my karma. I am a pure soul. I will pay what i did outside through law of karma. Innerly, i release this emotion and forgive myself because i love myself just as the supreme soul does.

Hi, me 6 months pregnant hu. Mujhe meri MIL se bahot irritation hoti hai. Wo na hi mujhe kuch pucchti hai ki khana kyu nahi ja raha hai, na hi wo kuch bhi conversation karti hai. Uska nature hi Aisa hai ki wo bas apna Kam karti hai aur tv ke samne baith jati hai pura din. Usko har baat batani padti hai, aur pucchni padti hai ki ye lo khane ko. Wo khud se kabhi khana nahi leti, na hi kabhi late hua to mujhe pucchti bhi hai ke khana khaye kya? Ghar me kuch saman khatam hua wo khana banate waqt to bhi batati nahi hai. Wo bas ek robot ki tarah hai jise har ek chhoti cheez batani padti hai. Kabhi wo ghar me family member jaisi nahi lagti hai, na hi mujhe unse koi attachment bhi hai. Har baat batayi nahi ja sakti, jaise aap care dikhao, apnapan dikhao, khud ke Ghar me reh Rahi ho aisa raho. Mere husband bolte hai ki wo pehle se hi aisi hai, aur mujhe unko samaz ke Lena chahiye. Unko har baat ke liye pucchna chahiye. Mujhe bahot hi jyada irritation hoti hai, kyunki wo sirf apna Kam kar ke baith jati hai, na hi jyada kuch bolti hai, na hi khud se kabhi kuch karti ya bolti bhi hai. Mujhe unke liye koi acchi feeling nahi hai. Me aise MIL se kaise deal karu?
