Sometimes situations get so complicated that both the parties feel the pain. But none of them wants to compromise and accept each other's mistakes. When one person doesn't want to be the burden on other and tries to do things by his own..unfortunately other thinks that he doesnt respect n love him.

Rare is the person who can just be who they are without pretentious airs or feeling like they have to be a certain way in the eyes of others. We are like chameleons morphing and adapting to the commands of others. I have been in social settings where I didn't feel comfortable because of the image the members of the group had of me to be smiling, pleasing and agreeable all the time. I stopped going there because I felt like I was being fake. What I've noticed is the moment you change they think you are arrogant because you are no longer dancing to their music. Joseph Campbell said: "The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are." We've turned into people pleasers and doormats.
After hearing the whole of this , i am so glad that i have lived this way for so many years. Just got an affirmation that I'm normal and not otherwise. Finding joy in knowing that I am in the right direction

Choice is different thing. But should we compromise the health and lives of ourself and our children. Even if we radiate understanding and remain stable but what if I think a thing is good or harmful for my child and my wife think the other way. Compromising doesn't always mean petty things like making choices
