Great weekly selection of movies Roy! I always enjoy and appreciate your weekly update as it often gives me movies which I need to add to my wishlist. Thank you. 👍
Hi Roy. I thought you would enjoy Payroll. The 60's/70's heist/gangland films are a particular favourite of mine. A couple i can highly recommend are Robbery from 1967 with Stanley Baker and a whole host of British character actors of the period. It's loosely based on the 1963 Great Train Robbery. Also, Richard Burton gives a great performance as a gang boss in Villain[1971], again with some familiar faces of the time in supporting roles.👍
Hi Roy, love the T-Shirt, I’m making my way through Better Call Saul again, such a top show. Not seen Derailed in years and forgotten a lot about it. I love The Postman but I do like very long movies 🤔 good to hear no German prisoner of war has ever escaped from this country, I will look out for The One That Got Away (pun not intended 🤣) Possessor was a good film 👌 not seen Payroll (to my knowledge) Open Range is a solid western 👍 nice one Roy, take care mate👍😃👍
Thanks Alan 👍 I think I like Better Call Saul more than Breaking Bad to be honest. It's such a shame the boxset is so expensive. I'm quite impressed I have a movie you haven't 😆
Sounds like another mostly great week of watches there Roy, I honestly can't remember if I've seen the postman or not. I did have a similar thing last week where I put a movie in at night not realising it was the best part of 3 hrs long 😄 I made it through though 🙌
Hi Roy a great week. I have to say I really like open Range a slow burn. I can’t say the same about the postman. I am looking forward to costners horizon films. I have never seen the one that got away and payroll so I have added them to my buying list. Take care.
Another good week, Roy and good buzz cut, mate. I’ll always watch Costner but yes he does over-indulge with a number of his films. I’d like to see The One That Got Away, I like Hardy Kruger. And Payroll sounds good. I was surprised to enjoy Possessor, I wasn’t sure it would be for me. I barely remember Derailed so can’t recall what I thought about the twist
Hello Neil. It's certainly a summer cut. I have a copy of Dances With Wolves on the way. It's a long time since I saw that one but I'm sure that is going to be his most over indulgent film. I don't think I've seen Kruger in anything else. I will have to investigate.
@@roybarratt5609 i absolutely love Dances With Wolves and forgive his indulgence on that one. Even though the theatrical cut is long enough, I’d actually vouch for the extended cut….I mainly know Hardy Kruger from a film I enjoyed when young called Blue Fin, but he’s been good support in a range of other films such as The Wild Geese and The Flight of the Phoenix.
Hi mate, great watches this week, I just recently watched Derailed for the first time and thought it was great, i didn't see the twist coming either, Don't think i have watched The Postman if im honest or can't remember it. The one that got away was one of my dad's favourites, really good war movie that i should get on Blu-ray. Will put Payroll on my wishlist, sounds like my type of film, with you saying the film is set in Newcastle there is another film thats set in Liverpool called Violent playground starring Stanley Baker and not one person has the Liverpool accent lol. Open Range is a great western for me, managed to pickup the Blu-ray cheap.
Hello Mark. I'm glad it wasn't just me that didn't see the twist. Yep Derailed is really enjoyable. I do highly recommend Payroll and The one that got away as pickups. I guess they're scared foreign audiences won't understand a word they're saying. Sometimes I struggle with accents 😆

Thanks Anthony 👍 hope I'm not costing you too much money 😅
@@roybarratt5609 I shall be going to my bank tomorrow Roy to increase my credit card limit and renegotiate my mortgage 😀😂

Cheers Ash. I couldn't believe it when there was still an hour and a half to go 🤣
Payroll seems like one I'll watch. I saw The Hidden from the HMV premium collection yesterday. That was really good fun.
Hi Ryan yes Payroll is awesome 👌 Hidden is one I'm definitely on my wishlist
@@roybarratt5609 I think you'd like it. Have you watched Brain Damage?

Hi Ellery yes I definitely recommend them two. I have a copy of Dances with wolves coming soon. I'm definitely a glutton for slow Costner punishment.
Hi Roy I like the Postman can watch it over and over 😊
I liked the concept but it was a bit bloated for me
I’ve always been a defender of the Postman. I think it’s a great film
I liked the concept just a bit drawn out and long for my tastes

I do like costner and i have never seen the postman or own it, open range is decent, nice watches mate 👍🏻🎥💿👈🏻📺
Cheers Stuart 👍 If you want the Postman my Instagram and Facebook is in my bio. Drop your address and I'll stick it in the post for you. 👍
