An ordinary Saturday in my garage, can it go wrong somehow?

Great video. Allways go rich before go lean world's best advice. How did you end up @75. Kept adding fuel. Looked like it didn't like the timing. You should be at your 88 hp if the alcohol adds. 10 % . I'm impressed with the 68 hp @ the wheel. The new yz 250 2 stroke @ the shop guessing only make about 43 to the wheel never checked it. Keep up the great work

Thanks, always go rich first(complys to everything in life *lol*), and always try small steps in advance up and down to see where you are heading before taking big steps.
The first pull you witnessed was a 'short' pull not revving it out, then later on i revved it furter when i was more certain about the ignition on top, to bad i forgot to record that.
And the pulls in this video is somewhat misleading, i always loose power when rear tire gets hot.
I can fight this for a long time(everytime) and when i take a longer break(tire gets colder again) i often see a huge improvement.
that 76.3hp was cold tire, those 75.x runs was with a tire getting gradually warmer, no other adjustments.
And later on when (as usual) i don´t undertand why i lose power, and i start adjust again, and loose more power *lol*
But on Petrol i also see that i´m loosing power when engine runs hotter.
Normal watertemp on E85 is about 30-35c during a pull, now it was up around 65-70c
E85 would result in about 80whp
Methanol maybe 84-87whp(but i need to raise the compression)
I think i´ll go the E85 route as it is more easy to get for me, and then top it up with some nitrous =)

76whp on petrol? what did it make on petrol before the casework? was the case mods the only change this time around? cheers

It actually goes in par with old powerlevels on E85, let´s take my 76.3whp and multiply it by 5% and we got 80.1whp
I have dynoed with injection as best 80.3whp with e85
The big difference now is the raised rpm, peak power is at about 11600rpm now, and this was the plan, to get it more close to 12000rpm
I´m about to change over to E85 again as i don´t like the fact that it drops power when getting hot.

@@Patricks_Projects So not to big difference with the case porting then? For a petrol use. I understand you want more RPM for nitrous, but maybe your setup is just not applicable to petrol so I shouldn't read into it too much. enjoy the Dyno videos

@@bluestripes1 I can actaully not tell for certain if it is better as i need to make some more adjusting, i feel it is more above 11500 to adjust still.
But it has raised the rpm yes.
And before i started it on petrol the earlier fuelmap were so 'off' so i didn´t have the guts to test that big changes in the map.
Therefor i put petrol in it to get this 'footprint' i was talking about.
Now when i have a map of 'fueldemand' i can revert back to e85, and see what the differences are.
