It’s TRASH and will mute your whole driving experience! They say it’s for “safety” and it benefits the driver but in reality it doesn’t, and they say it doesn’t record while you’re parked and that’s not true I got called in for going into a convenience store and they played the whole video.
Hey Moses, we had these cameras for a few months now and from what I understand when it’s blue it’s not recording. When you turn over the engine the camera comes on. When it’s green that’s when it’s recording and that happens with breaks released. As far as seatbelts go, over here in California they’re hammering down on that. You have to have it on at all times. We had driver pull forward from the diesel island and got a verbal warning for it.
Geotab is pretty simple all you need is your alpha and password like peoplenet and everything else you do it on the drive app. Also one thing to note is to make sure you log out of the app if you use it on your phone because, if you only went off duty and started driving in your personal vehicle it’ll kick you back into drive. Personally I don’t like using it on my phone for that reason.
I've had mine for about 2 weeks and from what was explained to me. The biggest things is to make sure you have on your seatbelt. Stop fully at stop signs. Make sure you're not distracted, And make sure you don't fall asleep obviously.
I told them no, I wouldn’t sign the paperwork. JB hunt can have their job I’ll work for their competitors should have went to Walmart anyway. A few Haslet drivers still don’t have it and won’t except it
I don't have one yet thank goodness
I quit and bought my own truck after 1 week
Heard you get points if they catch you snoring 💤
What’s your final review/opinion on the cameras?
Video coming up soon
Grettings moses,, hope you are doing well in this new year...
Wao. Your privacy its been violated.. i would not want to work for a company that does that...
Most mega carriers will soon switch to cameras if they haven’t yet
Do you also drive for jnhunt. That might be true. But i still think there over steping on your privacy. Is like having a passenger with you. That is a SNITCH.....😀😀
@@Papa_OwlSeems like JB Hunt is the only one. I read that Prime was doing it, but I haven't seen any Prime truck with one yet
Swift had them and turned them off because of liability. Dunno I wouldn’t drive for them🥔 heads
I wonder how many drivers they'll lose over this. I quit two years ago for other reasons, but if I would've stayed, I would've left once I've gotten one of those shits
Moses. Are you doing any more vides. It been almost a month. Is it because the New camera they install in your Truck..
No. Just took a break because I didn’t know what kind of videos to make
@@driversuccess
Grettings moses hope you are doing well. The videos you were making help a lot. Just keep making those. Idea, braking a truck when load it or unload it. (Emty) what happens if you are pull aside on a scale.. how to properly use engine braking..
No song after video.. your promo...
I happen to like the camera system
NO MORE VIDEOS.....
They are not bad
Glad I'm gone, I'm not doing the inward facing camera! I have been exonerated by the forward facing camera many times, including a drive tire skid caused by the automated braking on the tractor when the tractor should HAVE NOT applied the brakes in the rain. But, I'm not going to be watched 24/7!! Before the inward facing camera, JBHI Fort Worth was the best company I ever worked for. Now, no thanks
That's a freightliner issue. I've had it do the same going under a bridge or going by shadows.
I won’t have one in my truck I’m done as soon as I get a truck with one in it.
My break assist almost caused a truck to rear end me and I got tossed into the wheel. The damn thing detected the rail road tracks on gold spike road
