I'm a 58 year old white guy from the Midwest. Ren is a GENIUS. He's been killing it for several years. Look at his work as The Big Push. Dude is amazing.
What I appriciate about Ren is his aura of positivity. His fandom has been nothing but optimistic and a breath of fresh air. It truly is a really cool thing to see.

You guys should check out his street performances with his band, The Big Push, for something a little different but to see how talented and diverse this guy is. You won't go far wrong with them doing I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop.
He didnt produce this beat its an EDM track by fisher but its his mix and lyrics and he made it 10x better

"Losing It" was a huge hit for EDM DJ/producer Fisher across Europe in summer 2018. Don't get me wrong, Ren could come up with something in a similar vein, but more interesting than this, himself if he decided he wanted to - this is a pretty generic house track which could easily have come out of the clubs in the '90s.... but this one *is* Fisher's track with Ren rapping over it & some fun little tweaks. Hence Ren calls it one of his "rap re-takes" of a well-known (at least over here in the UK / Europe) track. ;)
Another great reaction! I'm a musician who's been around since the 1950's. In recent years I made a list of favorite bands and artists, including Led Zeppelin, King Crimson, Rush, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Porcupine Tree, etc. I just heard Ren for the first time about a month ago, went down the Ren rabbit hole, and put Ren in my favorite artists list. I was into old school rap in 1980's/'90's, even saw Public Enemy in concert--and for me Ren ties the old school sound together with the current sound. But he's also a great musician and songwriter. His song "Crucify Your Culture" gives me Rage Against the Machine vibes. Man, I can't say enough about him! 😳
Chinchilla live "Fingers" or her newest release "little girl gone". Otherwise you have a whole catalog of Ren's stuff not even touched. He has no bad songs, because they all fit nicely into different genres and kick ass.
Now you need to see Ren's band The Big Push and their cover of I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop! Also check out some of his older stuff like Humble with Eden Nash!
sick boi amd crucify your culture are rap songs with a real message behind it. for lighter rap genesis or power or for a pure performance and entertainment the trilogy of Jenny, Screech and Voilet.

Anyone else getting a Bloodhound gang vibe? My jaw just dropped with rens speed rap. Watching this channel has opened my mind up to so much new and out of my comfort zone. I love it. I can only imagine how far outside their comfort zone they were when they first started. I think the best part is they haven't even dipped their toe into all the amazing music out there. Heres to many more years of quality entertainment. I purposely make sure im up for 6am for my morning reaction fix.
The thing I love, is watching people turn into their 10 year old selves when they hear his flows. You can't help but get giddy like a kid and have those " Ooohhh shxt!" moments. Love it. Great reaction my dudes.

Okay, so now you need to hear "Losing It" by Rush (the R40 Live in Toronto) concert DVD. It was released in 1982 on their epic Signals album but had never been played live before the band dug it out for their very last tour.
Talk about an interesting comparison!!!

For more great Ren, a few of my other favs: Chalk Outlines with Chinchilla (also check out her new single that dropped 6 days ago and went to #1 on ITunes that day, Little Girl Gone), I Shot the Sheriff with his band The Big Push while busking in the UK, and The Hunger for another awesome rap. I seriously can't get enough of him.
There was one that I could think of off the top of my head was “the Streets”. Haven’t heard um in a while. But I got into them from the song “let’s push things forward”(2002).
I forgot when I commented earlier that you guys had already done Illest of Our Time by Ren... y'all should check out his Trilogy Jenny's Tale Screech's Tale and Violet's Tale but you need to watch them all at one time to understand it. Losing it was originally an EDM track by a dutch artist called Fisher. This is Rens 'retake', so yeah he messed with the original production and made it is own. There's a bar he spits saying "I'm fucking it up like i made it"😉

There are shedloads of lyricist in the UK, it's where lyrical hip hop has been residing for the last 15 years, a good place to start would be daily duppy and fire in the booth, it is a deep rabbit hole to dive down

Fisher - Losing it is a very popular Tech-House song that made it to #1 on the charts. Ren raps over it, so technically without permission from Fisher he wouldn't be able to monetize this without a law suit ensuing. He did however take that drops where it went halftime, that was all Ren, doing the Redlight/Greenlight like the Netflix series Squid Game. He is basically just straight flexin his skills here, and I am ALLLL for it!
I’m so glad y’all discovered this man. I just found out about him only 3 months ago and i’ve listened to most of his work several times, a creative genius no doubt. I’d love for an older lyricist type rapper have a feature with him sometime!

If you want feel the depth and power of ren i would recommend 3 specific tunes. The full 3 part the tale of jenny and screech. Best storytelling video i can think of. Also, the big push (rens band) with a live busking of i ahot the sheriff/road to zion/and the classic hip hop. The other is my personal favorite a dark rock song called crutch. I wont ruin it for you but this is among the most real/painful songs I've ever heard. Similar to the pain of "Stan"

Please listen to Plan B, UK Rapper, Actor (movie star) , Singer, Musician. Multi talented. Ren Refers to him in 'Hi Ren' - 'Played on Guitar.. Plan B did it'. He is unreal. My personal favorite is 'Stay to long' and i woul d recommend you react to this .. its from a concept album 'The defamation of Strickland Banks' about about a hypothetical music star that just had a big hit.. he's out on the town celebrating without his Girlfriend , and a girl hits on him.. each following song on the album is about the downward spiral, rape accusation, prison, and eventual redemption. he Album is like a movie, reminds me of Shawshank redemption.. He has a huge back Catalogue too and was a massive underground rapper before he broke out in the UK.
My favorites from him so far are Hi Ren, Sick Boi, and his Tales Trilogy (Jenny, Screech, and Violet). He also has some really awesome tracks I haven't seen many react to such as Dominoes, Make My Way, and Pocket Full of Pain off of his Freckled Angels album. His busking stuff, especially I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop is also freakin' awesome. Y'all should do Sick Boi next!

Lots of good suggestions here, The Hunger is basically a show off piece for rappers. Not a lot of reacters have done Life is Funny, which has some great bars and a good vibe.
