yeah - if kim is shot during the tribunal, you can get cuno to join you for the end of the game

If you fail to warn Kim about the shot during the tribunal, he gets replaced by Cuno

Without the pheromone it's a truly impossible check, like One More Door, or the check that ends the Tribunal. If you succeed and look at the results, it will say "Inevitably Failed".
