For bonus knowledge, Mjolnir is supposed to be a full on Warhammer with a much longer handle. In the myth the handle is short because Loki was messing with the dwarves who were making it. Thor, being Thor, and therefore obnoxiously strong, did not mind in the slightest when the giants gave him the "incomplete" hammer. This is the equivalent of someone handing you a greatsword with a short sword's handle and you being completely unphased by the inconvenience.

The power of the men standing beside him. He isn't above life, he can't just levitate a hammer. That's Thor. I really liked that scene haha.

In college I made a 10 pound cold roll steel, (14 gauge I believe it was) mjolnir and it’s one of my favorite pieces. Made in the dimensions of the comic book accurate size, I wrapped the handle in nice leather and made a pommel cap with a studded leather strap. If I had more time, I could have had it nickel plated. It was a first attempt and knowing what I’ve learned since then would make the god of war version a fun challenge to build.😍

I have to admit I'm curious as to how much the hammer would weigh if it were made of solid steel, not just hollow in the middle, but I suppose it would have been too heavy to lift. Also, did you make the hammer the right size? 'Cause according to to voice actor Ryan Hurst, Thor is meant to be about seven feet tall in God of War: Ragnarök
Thank you for your compliments! I think he would be around 110 lbs and already 41.9 lbs is heavy enough! Yes that is the size of the hammer in the game scaled to Thor which is 7ft. That's also why it weighs so heavy!
I like to think that those strange markings on powerfull weapons (leviathan,blades of chaoes and thor's hammer mjolnir) make the element of said weapon come out and externate it on who come in touch with it, with the source of the element being at center or in some particular place. P.s. extraordinary good video!
I got the Jotnar Edition of the game that came with Mjolnir, it is an awesome piece! I was thinking of making a mold of it to cast it in metal, but that is beyond my skill and equipment right now, maybe some day 😅 I actually held the Mjolnir while watching your awesome work, you got just about all the details in there, it is truly amazing!!!! I have real forged Mjolnir from high strength steel and all necessary heat treatment(Not hollow inside, solid forged hammer), weight 126 kg or almost 278 LBS)))
