A 1/4 mile run I recorded racing an auto SC400 a650 swap with spitronics auto controller,. My car is NA SC400 1992 with 5 spd trans,. Best time was 14.9, the run recorded was 15.0. My launch was a little late as I had to back up lol spun 2nd but was corrected on the 14.9 run which I forgot to turn on on the GoPRO . this run was recorded when I was making around 200whp when car was warm
Good run there. I’ve heard the best way to open up a 1UZ is with a manual transmission. (:
this is all of us sc400 owners dream
Damn that looks fun
Launching my manual swap series in my GS400 on my channel soon! This vid is a great inspiration. Sounds awesome too!
Awesome man! Thanks!
@@SCFactory Still working on cars? How much to swap my sc400?
Supercharged manual swap *😮💨
Dude the staging bit was hilarious 😂😂
What a legend!
Nice! I just picked up one of these for a drift project!
Great video 👍 thanks for sharing!
Good shit brother !!
I have owned 6 sc coupes in my life. All 400 models except for my newest one a 300. How difficult is the trans swap? Or how much labor? Nice sc btw
Not to hard but depends what u want a cd009 with an adapter plate clutch drive shaft and other other stuff can cost close to 6k usd
Finding one of these cars is incredibly difficult but I want one so bad. Been stocking 1UZ parts for years just waiting til I can get my hands on one
Currently in process of swapping my SC400 (92') to manual using a W58 and Quantum Auto / XAT bits!
Looking forward to getting it back on the road, it's been parked for 2+ years and I've owned it 10. Are you on the factory ECU? I'm curious what performance gains I could get on a standalone.
Yes stock ecu in this video, but i also ran a megasquirt. The standalone isnt worth the money if you dont have forced induction or cams. The auto ecu gets the best performance when you wire a relay so the ecu know yours in drive and not in neutral. normally it runs in neutral with the bypass.
@@SCFactory Is that required (The relay wire) if i'm on a Pre OBDII car (92-94 gen)
What year is the sc400 and did u have to trick the ecu thinking in neutral or park to avoid rev limiter or limp mode?
What's your exhaust setup?
200 whp?!
14.9?
What was elevation ?
I had forgotten how slow cars were in the 90s. Must be fun though
Oh ya shes a tank and not much power to push it, the torque barely saves it, but this car is still only a hair faster than my old honda XD
Still have the sc400?
Yes it has a different engine now
mando to switch manual
What car where you running?
Lexus sc400/Soarer
@@mgzcustoms7332 I mean running against
SC400 auto 5 spd
No helmet? Sketchy
Didnt have one back then, but I dont think you need one unless your 12 seconds or less something like that
Have you ever dyno it with tbe manual swap?
yes dyno video is on my channel it made lik 206whp and 230ftlbs on a mustang dyno
SC Factory mods?
What was the time for a 1/4 mile?
Cesar E read the description ;)
Staging with back tires, smh
