- It is 30 years since the world of F1 lost one of the greats in Ayrton Senna. Ahead of the Imola Grand Prix, the drivers have been paying tribute to the Brazilian legend, and telling the world just what he meant to them.

No more keeps talking about Verstappen ignoring team order in Brazil and does only win tittles for Red Bull when he decided to extend his contract in Red Bull for years, no one think Vettel have the potential to win a few more races consecutively if the 2013 season went longer that mock his 9 race wins in a row in comparison of Max's 10 from last season. Vettel and Verstappen had similar events happened in their past and current Red Bull Carrer, but everyone just criticize Vettel not Verstappen.

Senna is hands down the GOAT. I met him in Adelaide after the 92 AGP - had a quick chat for about a minute - walking down the access lane behind the pits - he was leaving the venue - as he got in his shuttle vehicle he gave me his Marlboro McLaren umbrella - he said "Here this is for you". Still got it on my wall. I was a 19 year old kart racer aspiring to F1 at the time (sounds old for karting these days, but back then it was normal - Senna himself raced karts until 20/21) - for almost all of us in that camp at the time Senna was the absolute GOD - to meet him that day was surreal. 18 months later i was watching the 94 San Marino GP with my Dad as usual - we watched every race together for the best part of a decade - the camera was on-board with Schumacher through Tamburello and i would always go into race mode when the in-car cameras were shown (still quite a treat in those days) - so i noticed immediately when Senna speared straight on - even before he hit the wall i shouted "Senna off" and i immediately realized it was the superfast Tamburello Curve and was concerned, but hoped to quickly see him get out of the car. When he didn't we hoped he was just knocked out. Then it became clear the situation was at least serious or worse - we watched the rest of the race hoping for good news - can't remember any of it - was just this numb feeling - and then some reporter's voice said the words i will never forget; "Ayrton Senna has grave head injuries." I probably knew then what the result would be but couldn't believe it - even 30 years later it's hard to believe. I continued racing, even eventually did a F1 track day - but never got a pro gig - way it goes for most of us in this sport. Kept watching F1 but to be honest it was never the same again - the magic was gone, it was the day the music died. It was a privilege to be around in the Senna era - i wouldn't trade it for anything, not even to be young again - he was the highlight of motorsport history - an absolute GIANT i can never forget! RIP Champ!
A moving gesture from the drivers and the fans honoring Senna & Ratzenberger, but I couldn't help but feel melancholic once the rain started to fall... 🇦🇹💯🇧🇷

Foi a morte dele que fez Senna ficar daquele jeito, jamais visto, antes da corrida. Um pouco diferente dos demais pilotos. Senna era um piloto que se preocupava com a segurança de todos - deixava a corrida para salvar acidentados em meio a corrida. Quando Rubens bateu, Senna pulou o muro do hospital para poder vê-lo.

I think Kym Ilman said in one of his videos that the drivers prefer to take fan photos while walking so that they don't end up late by stopping every couple of steps. I see nothing wrong here.

Why because he doesn't wear a t-shirt with Senna plastered all over it? Ratzenburger died during Quali, maybe he feels it's distasteful, maybe he's his own man who can show his respect in the same way as everyone else by attending but not donning a costume? You'll note he didn't take a knee either. To me that tells me more about someone than you'll ever know. Independent thought is a rare attribute these days. this amazing tribute is exactly what i would of done, get as many of the current guys together and also try to reach out to ask many of the drivers who also took part that weekend. i would of

of been there and ran the circuit too. Even though the weather wasn’t great, it just didn’t matter at all. i loved how everyone made their way to the chicane where the old villeneuve kink was and then gathered at the retaining barrier to pay their respects to roland. it was peaceful too which made it just so so gentle and nice. I didn’t see it, but obvvs they did the same at tamburello for ayrton. 😘😘🥰🥰😍😍😍🥰🥰😘 Amazing and i’m so touched.
