Our first installment of Following in the Footsteps of the Lotus-Born Guru: The Life and Liberation of Guru Rinpoche, Aspirations, Birth, Youth and Entrance Into the Dharma. In this webcast, we explore Guru Rinpoche’s aspirations at the Boudha Stupa in Nepal, and his sacred birth and upbringing at Dhanakosha and in Uddiyana. After first introducing quotations from Guru Rinpoche’s principal biography, the Pema Kathang, the episode explores the historical background of these sacred sites and delves into the sacred events that unfolded at these places.
