@@nicowestlife4eva personally, I dont know which is better. They have a different meaning. In terms of singing jeremy is obviously better, but Christian bale isnt a singer so for him to sing that good in the movie is still very impressive.

I love this so much! I wish I could have seen it with Jeremy though. I think he is the best and with nothing against future actors, he captures the songs and accent perfectly.

i saw the play this afternoon!!! IT WAS AMAZING, even though i love the original the changes they made were great and any die hard fan would be happy with the changes....love what they did to once and for all, they made it really powerful same with santa fe...praying for a broadway run soon!

I'm seriously freaking out right now! When my Mom told me that Newsies was coming to Broadway, I almost died. This has been my favorite movie since I was little and I always said I wished they brought it to Broadway, and now they finally are! On my birthday month too!! It was meant to be! She is getting me tickets for my birthday! =D

I love the movie, and the movie cast will always have a special place in my heart, BUT, I am super-excited about this musical and I wish I could travel to the Paper Mill (ironic) Playhouse to see this show.

its on broadway, it open on March 29, 2012, with cast members from Paperbill Playhouse show plus new ones, it was only limited time, but they just recently announce its open-ended show. :)
