Another great vid. Many thanks.
@@mjames4709 you're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it 👍😀
Thanks for an enjoyable after breakfast trip to Seymour. It must be pleasing to drive such a well presented locomotive. The mighty C class has always been my favourite. Cheers Pete.
It is a very nice locomotive to drive, that's for sure. Glad you enjoyed it. 👍😀
Great video, love the C claases, great locomotives. Certainly a nice trip.
Very happy to hear you enjoyed the ride on the C class. 👍😀
@@driver667 Thanks mate, certainly an awesome ride
@@G516R700 you're welcome. 👍😀
Love the sound
It is a great sounding locomotive. 😀👍
Nice. Can't mistake those horns out front. And that power up sound.....wow. Great vid.
The C class certainly has a great sound to it. Glad you enjoyed it 👍😀
Awesome
Very happy you enjoyed it 👍 😀
Love the video, but what is that constant ticking?
That is the speed recorder in the cab. Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😀
👍
👍😀
Oh, wow. Look at all of those Vlocitys backed up on the RRL. I guess they need even MORE capacity. Flexible signalling and crossovers would help, but not by much. Hopefully, any additional tracks won't have such tight curves as the ones on the flyover (screeching and slow running are both things to avoid).
There are quite a few trains trying to access inner Melbourne now. More capacity is becoming a problem. 👍😀
@@driver667 Would a Sydney style flying junction help or is it too late for that?
@@skippybingham5715 the problem in the peak is really where to put the train when you get in. One hiccup can cause all sorts of delays. More capacity in the platforms would be great. 👍😀
What’s with the incessant clicking noise in the cab??
That is the speed recorder in the cab. 👍😀
I need a train horn for my car.
🤣🤣 You might scare yourself off the road 🤔🤔👍😀
How many coats of polish were applied ?.😊
I'm not sure how many coats they applied but it shines very nicely 😎 😀👍
@@driver667 I just love the views of open giant Wimmera wheat fields
@@davidpearn5925 very happy you are enjoying the views 😀 👍
Is C501 preserved or still operational?
It is preserved but now currently leased out to a freight company, SCT. 👍😀
Were you driving this? Heard you on the radios.
Yes, I was the driver of this. 👍😀
@@driver667 How does a V/Line driver attain the qualifications and roster to drive a locomotive not within the fleet or operated by the company? Or is it based on past experience?
@@Jack-ub8kc a number of us run these heritage runs and were previously qualified. There is a process to go through to train drivers in equipment they may not be qualified in before being rostered for heritage trains. 👍😀
@@driver667 Thanks for that mate, great to know! 😄
@@Jack-ub8kc you're welcome 👍😀
