Thankyou. Great to see from your perspective. The independent freight line tunnel is amazing. Always fascinated me.
Very happy you enjoyed the ride 👍 😀
Like the Sounds of the Engine, and various Pitches of the Horn, along with the Radio Chatting, aĺl in a all a Visual atmosphere of sight and Sounds, Bravo 👏 👍
Thank you. Very happy you enjoyed the ride on the locomotive 👍😀
Done that trip a fair few times to and from Anzac siding for hollands with track machines, piloting them
A trip on track machines would be interesting 👍 😄
Good view thanks for this vid
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😀
Great video!
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😀
Gotta love the purrr of the 16-645E3
It does sound great 👍 😀
@@driver667 👍👍
I saw the Rail and Sail to Geelong this morning
Great stuff. I heard that was running 👍😀
[ x ] Another interesting ride! Thanks for sharing. Forgive my ignorance, please ... that's a dual gauge, standard and wide? [Greetings from Tucson]
Standard gauge (4' 8.5") for the interstate network and Broad gauge (5' 3") for the state network. Glad you enjoyed the ride 👍 😀
Thanks for this one, another piece of the missing link.
Drawing a long bow here..... is there any chance of Eucha to Toolamba? (I'm, a hopeless tragic of unknown or mis understood lines.)
Toolamba Echuca does not see trains at the moment. The future may be different. It is on my list of wants. Glad you enjoyed the ride 👍😀
Cool:) love the old VRs and also I have a video suggestion to make a whistle/Horn compilation it would be awesome and I have a lot of friends that like trains like me so I will be telling about this channel cuz you deserve more subs. I respect what you do to make these videos. Thanks:)
You are most welcome. I have had people suggest about horns and I will give a video on horns a thought. 🤔 Interesting suggestion. Very happy you are enjoying the videos 👍 😀
Was this a live run or a training exercise.
@@dapto234 this was a heritage train taking tourists for a rail holiday. 👍😀
@@driver667 ok thanks for that.👍😀
@@dapto234 no problem. 👍😀
What do the L and M route indicators mean at the Dynon yard exit around 09:30?
Also, that Y junction flyover onto the Newport-Sunshine line at 18:00 must produce some great photography! :)
Local and Main. Refers to which track we will be taking. Glad you enjoyed the ride 👍 😀
Here I am expecting it to go through Yarraville and Spotswood and you've gone the long way. Bamboozled me.
🤣🤣 We are on the standard gauge track. 👍😀
is it just c501 or is it towing s307 plus carriages
We have s307 behind us plus the carriages. 👍😀
@@driver667 that's what I thought I was just checking
@@matthewmassarotti2596 no problem 😊 👌 👍
So can these locos (and the S classes from your other videos) also run on standard gauge tracks?
This track we are on is the standard gauge track to Adelaide. C501 and S307 are both on standard gauge. 👍😀
@@driver667 Ok. I thought the S and C classes were broad gauge. Are there others that are?
@@therealsammyvee888 the locomotives can run on both gauges and have been switched between the two over the years as required. Some are broad and others are standard gauge. 👍😀
@@driver667 So like the N classes then? Cool. Thanks.
@@therealsammyvee888 correct 👍😀
