You're so right, no one ever talks about non-romance Kindle Unlimited books. I haven't been a fan of e-books in the past and I'm not currently looking to spend money, BUT it's nice to know that it's not all just romance books.
Yeah all I could ever find was romance recs, and it just isnt my genre. I never liked ebooks until recently, probably bc I'm always taking a kid to sports and sitting waiting now so taking my kindle makes it easy

Thanks Jessi! Wasn't sure if the sub would be worth it since all the top recommended kindle unlimited books are just not looking interesting 🤣 but I saw they have comics and lot of classics for unlimited. Decided will try it out for free for 3 months since they seem to have cooler stuff too based on this. Should be worth it for sure now
Thank you SO much for this video. I just got a 3 months trial on my brand new kindle and all I've seen on the unlimited shop was romance, which is really not for me. I was searching for some fantasy and sci-fi novels but I couldn't really find anything. Even when I search online the recommendations are mostly for romances, but now I found this video and it's amazing. I am going to try and read all of these books, so thank you so much!

Man! I really need to start utilizing my kindle unlimited better!! Such good titles! I literally just discovered that they have audiobooks, too 🙈
Radium Girls is a ride! What those women experienced is crazy. I really felt for them, especially when they described symptoms and side effects 😩
I saw that they have audiobooks, which is awesome! I have been wanting to try more audiobooks to see if i can get into them.
I own the first ebook of Air Awakens so I really need to read it! I also LOVE her book covers!

I even know of some self-pub authors that only include the first book of their series on KU. It’s such a good idea to get exposure and get people excited about their books.
Air awakens is really good. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did.

Thank you thank you for this!!! I've been wanting for KU recs that AREN'T romance. There's just so much good books on there, but everyone wants to talk about the romance instead, hahaha. I haven't tried any fantasy from KU, but this is a great starting point! :)

Love the Air Awakens series! I’m currently listening to the sequel series. I don’t like it as much as the original series, but it’s still good. I just got The Raven and the Dove! I’ve really been loving self published books! I really want to try Fortuna Sworn!
I definitely need to finish the Air Awakens continuation at some point. I have been loving self-published books lately too, like it makes me feel good to buy them and talk about them b/c I know i'm supporting a small author!

I've been looking for other non-romance books on the Kindle! If you like historical fiction, I'd recommend Lydia Kang. Opium and Absinthe is ny favorite by her!
Also, Air Awakens is a LOT of fun!

Yeah I have been trying to be better about reading my physical books too, but this is just so easy to take with me
I discovered Three Dark Crowns through Kindle Unlimited and it's one of my favorite YA fantasy series. I think only the first one is available on there though. I do feel like a lot of what's available is hit or miss and I struggle finding what to read most of the time. It's why I generally prefer my library. I have considered picking up Ledgers of a Dark Mage because NK Leem is super sweet. We chit chat on IG quite a bit. I've had Radium Girls on my TBR for forever. Eventually I'll get to it? lol
I picked up Fractures for that same reason! She is just so sweet! I need to read book 2.
I actually have 3 dark crowns but havent read it yet, I need to get to it now though!

I Really enjoyed your video!!. Can you pls do a review on the kindle unlimited book called " The Keeper of Rhymes ".The plot looked super cool and its like a dystopian fantasy, I think. I would like to know if it's worth reading. counting on you for that! thanksss

Literally the past few series that I've been reading have all been on KU. I have yet to find a series that only has the first book available.
Thats great. I know they cycle books, mainly the big names, so not everything is on there all the time. Like when shadow of the fox was on KU, only book 1 was. With the self pub books though they usually do have the full series, like air awakens

Yeah I am trying HARD not to buy anything for a while... at least 2 months so I can work on what I already have.
IDK why people mainly talk about romance with KU, there is so much more to it and I am loving it.
@@TheBookishMom I think a lot of romance readers read around a book per day, so a service like KU is especially good when you're reading that volume of books! But I don't think you need to be reading at that speed for it to still be worth it

I actually bought never die! I got kindle unlimited for my mom, she is learning to read in English and we have found a bunch of meddle grade for her to read.
Oh that's great! Let me know how it is bc it sounds so good. I think that's awesome for your mom! I'm wondering now if I can find middle grade or kids spanish books to read myself to improve my spanish skills
The Bookish Mom that is a great idea. I have seen some classics is Spanish, like Rebecca, pride and prejudice etc. but I have not looked for middle grade in Spanish. I bet there are some!

I found T.A. White through KU. Love both the pathfinder and the Phoenix series. So good.

@@TheBookishMom you absolutely should! Pathfinder is a fantasy series, the phoenix(official series title= firebird chronicles) one is a brilliant mix of sci fi & fantasy.

fortuna sworn isn't on kindle unlimited: you can buy credits and use them to obtain for a kindle edition just not unlimited..........
It probably isn't anymore, it was when the video was made though. Books go in and off KU frequently. I usually do new KU videos a few times a year when I get around to it though.
