So excited you included House of Ash and Shadow! I still need to continue the series but the first one is so good and it’s right up your alley. Looks like I have some more books to add to my wish list lol. A couple you mentioned I have the ebook for so I may have to check it out. Also another series I recommend by Faith Gibson is her gargoyle shifter series. It starts with Rafael and they’re a family of shifters and I think you would enjoy it.
I never hear anyone talk about this, but you should definitely check out Red Winter. It’s such an amazing YA trilogy with great Japanese mythology, and it kind of gives me Inuyasha vibes. It’s by Annette Marie. The author even has beautiful pictures throughout the books showing certain scenes. I still don’t understand how this trilogy isn’t more popular.
Omg The Dark Fever series ❤that has become one of my favorites series this year. It is long but so worth it and very bingeable. Hope you enjoy if you try it!
I love the elemental mysteries / World / Legacies series’s, the OG series definitely starts with a discovery of witches vibed but it changes and develops as the series goes on. I’d say it’s more paranormal romance than fantasy romance though
Peaches&honey is sooo amazing! Paranormal heartwarming romance that'll probably make you sob and fall in love with the characters... And the second book in duology is out now too.
Thank u for the recs! I just finished Rain of Shadows and Endings and had to immediately start second book. I think it’s called the Legacy series and they are incredible. It’s like a cross between Manacled and a Court of Mist and Fury to me. If you haven’t checked it out, they are great!!
A promise of fire has been added to the list! I’ll do a buddy read if you decide to re-read it 😉. House of ash sounds good too - love these types of videos.
Listen so I recommended The Elemental Mysteries Series (Book 2 is the best) AND YES it is all about vampires but with several unique twists! Its a mildly steamy romance but with a great driving plot in each book and a even deeper more sinister plot line in the back ground! Gio and Carwin (our best boys) are phenomenal male leads and B and Brigid our girls are very a-typical personalities that made it impossible to put down! Best Part you ask? Its a completed series with multiple amazing spin-offs! Elizabeth Hunters works are under valued master pieces of the romantasy genre.
Black Dagger Brotherhood by J. R. Ward is awesome. The Black Jewels Series is another favorite of mine. Anne Bishop writes another series called The Others which is really good.
I just recently read Perfectly Imperfect Pixie by MJ May which is the first in a mm fantasy romance series (5 total). They are technically stand alones but I would read them in order since they have past couples and plot threads throughout.
Check out : Air Awakens by Elise Kova Bradley and the Legend Warwick by Stacey Brown, Reckless Souls by K.C. Kean I had a fun time with : Signs of Cupidity by Raven Kennedy.. Let me know whatcha think 😋
Not me currently struggling to read Daughter of the Blood for my book club. It's the series that inspired SJM to write ACOTAR. Since I'm not enjoying it, you should def try it. 😅😅😅
@HonestFiction Kristin tried the audio and said it was a male narrator who didn't change his voice for the multitude of characters so keep that in mind
I think Fortune Favors the Cruel is on Audible Plus because I just checked for the title on Audible and it said play and I didn’t get the audiobook or anything so I’m pretty sure it’s on Audible Plus. Also, the Shattered Kingdom series is on Anyplay all the Bucks in the series if you don’t mind 2.0 Speed that’s how I listen to the first two books in the series.
Daughter of the Blood by Anne Bishop is really good, but google trigger warnings, as I'd definitely categorize it as dark romance. Powerful men are sexual slaves and we see viscerally what that does to them, and within the first trilogy, there's rape of FMC I think off-page, as part of trying to destroy her. Also, the series just looks long... After the first 3 books, the story jumps around and we read about other characters, other times, and so far (I've read first 5-6 books) they are more standalone.
Oops, Fortuna Sworn is not a completed series! Sorry for the mistake!
I hate(LOVE!!!) how my tbr just GROWS every time I watch your recs
Thone in the dark is soooo fun! I love A.K. Caggiano. She's an expert on breaking the fourth wall and making you love all of her characters.

I really liked Wild Bonds, by Laurie Ford.
Please read the JR Ward series!! (Black dagger brotherhood) it’s soooo good
Are you talking about the Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward? Best vampire series EVER!!! I’m a bit behind in the series, but so amazing!!
@@Nance1964 YASS!! Thank you! I need to start it asap!
Honestly anything by SL Prater quick fun fantasy romance with bad ass female characters.
Fortuna Sworn book 1 audiobook was good.
These seem interesting❤
Wait. Famine was book 1???? I read pestilence then war then famine and then death
Haha no I messed up, Pestilence is the first book, I’ve never even read Famine 🤦🏻♀️ lmao

Omg!!! I wouldn’t have thought that based on the cover so thanks for the heads up!
Do you teach ASL? You almost look like you are forming words with your hands when you talk lol
Hahaha, no but I work in special education and do use ASL a lot 🥰
Fortuna Sworn is not complete.
