I think yunjin from le sserafim was originally a pledis trainee but she debuted under source, so there is a possibility of debuting under a different sub label

example the case of hee, jay, sunghoon, jungwon who from bighit moved to belift, it's because they participated in a survival show, which before joining ILAND they also auditioned to be ILAND participants. so it's just like they auditioned to move to a belift agency. just like minji who moved to ador and yujin who moved from pledis to source music. they see an opportunity which agency will “debut” the group first.
ex:
yunjin moved because pledis has no plans to debut GG in the near future because they will debut BG next year.
heeseung also auditioned to join ILAND because bighit just debuted TXT so it took longer for the next group to debut.
minji moved to ador must also through re-audition.
so the term is not “switching” trainees, but other trainees can re-audition to move to an agency with a high chance of debuting. they must have insider information that the agency wants to debut GG/BG in the near future, so they can audition to move to those agency.
She already left pledis b4 they join hybe and hybe go scout her back. That's why she's in source music bc she was put in the lesserafim debut team.
1. Heeseung is trained under bighit, but debut under belift. Minji is trained under source music but debut under adoring. So, yeah sublabels can exchange trainees
2. Every sublabel has their own style of music
3. Hybe love self producing idols

@@caesarthelast yess.. according to hybe press conference in last august, they said they will debuting 5 groups nex year
1. traineeA under bighit
2. BG under pledis
3. GG from ILAND2 under belift
4. BG under KOZ ent
5. hybe x geffen
if nothing is postponed, they will debut next year. but it doesn’t rule out the possibility of a delay like what happened to traineeA who was supposed to debut this year but was postponed because leo left. &audition and new jeans were also supposed to debut last year but were postponed until this year. then ILAND2 was also supposed to debut this year but was postponed to next year. if there are no obstacles, they will debut next year. but in my opinion, the groups that won’t be postpone again are traineeA and ILAND2 because their debut schedule has been postponed this year. but according to press con hybe last august, the 5 groups will debut next year. If there are no problems with the lineup members (like Leo suddenly leaving or something), there will be no problems with their debut schedule.

I feel like exchanging their trainees under different labels is possible. Since Newjeans debut, half of the girl is not from ador originally. Ig only Hanni audition thru ador online audition and pass to debut but the rest are most likely alrdy in training with source? And when Min heejin create her own company, she went and pick these girl who ain't in any position to debut in a team alrdy. Like Sakura said in one show that Yunjin was training with Nwjns members b4. So, yeah, I think they do have a contract but also can put u in any debut team they feel like u belong to😗😗

Hey Irene I actually have a question about HYBE : so let's say that I want to audition for it (I'm a girl), would they accept my audition? And if yes would I be a trainee in HYBE like BTS and TXT or they'll just put me in a company that belongs to it (source music)?
there's no audition for hybe, there's auditions for companies under them
Hybe isn’t an entertainment company per say, they just own and have actual labels that are entertainment companies under them (bighit, source music, belift, etc)
Well hybe didn’t have trainees they would put you in a sub depending what are they looking for it’s like big hit actually isn’t focus on gg until they want to try so maybe they would put you in source but they will put you where they need too

Not Irene but I feel like it depends on when u audition. I’m no expert obv but Source has already built up a reputation for Gfriend and Le Sserafim, so fans already have expectations for any new groups, and r probably more willing to support.
With Belift, if you audition soon and are part of the line up for the first gg, or if they’re doing a survival show and you’re part of that, that might boost your fame/success a little, but Belift is relatively unknown so it’s not certain. Enhypen is super successful but not many people talk about the company itself.
However both companies r under Hybe and Hybe is known for putting their all behind every one of their artists so no matter what company u end up under you’re guaranteed a lot of success if you manage to debut!!

If i get selected in either of the hybe companies, do i only get to be in the area of the that specific company i got selected in? For example i got selected in source music so do i only get to see the source music area of the in the hybe building? And is there a chance i can get to see BTS in the hybe building?
