  • Alejandra and I love food! It’s one of the main reason why we came to Malaysia. And as foodies, no stop is complete without a visit to what I call foodie island. It has been said that this island has more street food stands per square foot than any other place on earth! That’s insane! Several are over a hundred years old. I mean it’s gotta be good if they been around that long right? So hang out with us as we live off of street food for the next 3 days. Chowing down on the delicious, the way spicy, the weird and everything else in between. And if that’s not enough we were also lucky enough to be here during the start of Chinese New Year! Party time! You guys managed to capture the yearly CNY Lighting at Kek Lok Si Temple, 04/02 - 08/03. It was so beautiful! ❤👍😎

    Love to see genuine people enjoying their yummies! (fellow 'wok hei' lover here😛!) Thanks Mathew and Allie*!
    PS. It must be so BIZARRE for you guys to see kidney beans in a dessert 😅 considering all the great savoury sauces/moles you're familiar with.
    By the way, trivia: did you guys know that in Malaysia, a citizen can walk into a hospital for a consultation/visit and pay a nominal fee of $1 ringgit? (just popped into my head because of all the electioneering going on back in the States)
    [also...c'mon, as healthcare professionals, you guys know you can't wash away spicy sambal with just water 😆...you need some milk etc!]
    *also for the spectacular festive drone shot!

      @mathewandallie  3 месяца назад +1

      Hahah it was bizarre. I was surprised it tasted so well. I was a huge skeptic at first! Wow only 1 ringgit ? That’s amazing. USA if you don’t have health insurance and walk in. You might be broke forever lol. Lmao you’re so right water just wasn’t going to cut it! To spicy!
